The food was delicious. The wine was wonderful. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is nice, except that it is very loud. Even still, we had a great meal and enjoyed the restaurant very much. I would certainly go to this restaurant again. It is located in the Pier Shops area.

We enjoyed the entire experience of Caesar's Pier. Many shops and restaurants are located on this large pier across from Caesar's and next door to Trump Plaza. Phillip's Seafood is just one of those restaurants located there. Nearby the restaurant, you can sit in an old-style wooden beach chair and overlook the Atlantic Ocean while surrounded by driftwood and beach grasses sprouting from the beach sand at your feet which surrounds your vantage point. Service in Phillip's was excellent and we enjoyed our conversation with Gregor, our server. Overall, a very nice experience.

The place overall was clean and it was a nice atmosphere. The clams casino were EXCELLENT! I wish I had ordered two orders. The stuffed flounder was ok, pretty average, a little too fishy tasting. The wild salmon was good and it came with a nice avocado cream sauce. The crab legs kind of tasted like they had been frozen. Overall the place was ok, I would go back really only for the clams at this time.

The restaurant is located in The Pier in Caesar's casino. The food was delicious. The wine list didn't provide a choice of a Riesling wine, but the others listed were pretty good. The crab cake sandwich was so good and I definitely would recommend that to anyone looking for a crab cake that is not filled with breading.

They need to have more of a selection with the crab cake like being able to select it by itself without the corn and French fries. The service was great. They were out of corn and allowed me to choose from extra fries or cole slaw. I ordered the crab cakes and they were great.

The most striking thing about this restaurant was the noise level that was at times overwhelming. It was difficult to talk without sometimes shouting, which was disturbing to both my table and our neighbors. The food was very good and the experience overall was satisfactory. I would probably dine there again.

My Review
I had waited over 20 years to come back to Phillips Seafood and they did not disapoint. The service was good, the food was as good as I remebered. I had a memorable meal and enjoyed the overlook of the ocean. However, the staff needs to realize that women traveling alone, tip as well as men and deserve the same courtesy in seating.
