French Quarter Buffet: "The best food"
Jun 3, 2011
: restaurant customer

The food was great, cooked very well. Service was good and back to back. Dessert was very good and prepared with 5 star ratings. They have lots of different types of food from different cultures. Bathrooms were very clean and maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great buffet food.

French Quarter Buffet: "Stuffed and delighted!"

The food was really good. Although the workers could be a little friendlier. They didn't greet us nor smile. The people behind the food counter were friendlier. This buffet have wide variety of food. It have Chinese, Italian, or if u just want a burger or pizza! I didn't try the desserts because I was too full! But it did look really tasty.

I don't think you get the quality food for the money that you spend. The presentation of the food was not appealing. Food was luke warm. Not a huge selection for those who do not like seafood. My husband did not even bother with the crab legs as they were so small and not worth the trouble.

French Quarter Buffet: "Food was great"

The Buffet was a pleasant surprise. The amount of different food was very nice. The only thing that was disappointing was the seafood. All around casino it stated it was a seafood buffet. the only seafood was fried shrimp. They had a high roller section that had plenty of seafood but we were unable to enter that area. BUT besides all that The food tasted amazing. We loved it and Will eat there again!

Loved the Buffet,it was worth the money, lots of deserts to choose from, the waiter was very kind in making sure that our glasses was refill, and that the coffee cup as fill whenever empty, when we visit again that's where we will have dinner,it is the right place to take young kids to eat.

French Quarter Buffet: "Food, food and more food"

My biggest problem with the buffet was that most of the food is not kept hot enough. I tried both the dinner and breakfast buffets and found the same problem with both. The employees were very helpful and courteous. There is a very nice variety of food available at the buffets.

French Quarter Buffet: "Buffet at the Showboat"
Oct 10, 2010
: restaurant customer

We did some research online about the great buffets around Atlantic City. The Showboat's French Quarter Buffet appeared to have quite high ratings (among top 3 with the other 2 buffets are of Caesars and Harrah's). Since we tried Harrah's buffet on our last trip, we decided on the Showboat's buffet this time. Overall, it was an above average experience. The food selection was rather a bit small, compared to that of the buffet at Harrah's. The food quality was nothing outstanding. The service was quick and efficient.
All in all, we would recommend the Waterfront Buffet at Harrah's for any true buffet lover out there.

French Quarter Buffet: "Greatest food ever"
Aug 22, 2010
: restaurant customer

Our favorite, great selection from the salads through the main dish. Restaurant have stations in different places so there aren't any traffic jams with to many people getting the same food. Great selection, if you like stake or chicken or sea food everything is there. Great desert station. Stayed an extra day so we can have dinner again at this place.

The restaurant had a lot of selections to choose. All counters were clean and the staff was very helpful. The food was prepared very well. I did notice that the table staff made sure that you were had everything that you needed and was there asking if you needed anything.

Although there was a long long line to get in the buffet, once we got in it was worth the wait. The service was great, the young lady who helped us was wonderful. My husband and I really enjoyed the food. And we would go back to the French Quarter's Buffet again.

Clean, nice and workers very friendly. Love the food and set up. Well price and nice atmosphere.
I would come back here again and recommend it to others. The desserts was great and tasteful. Bathrooms clean and decorated nicely. Once again this was a excellent restaurant and lovely place to eat.

French Quarter Buffet: "Almost Thought I was in New Orleans"
Dec 26, 2009
: restaurant customer Ask me a question

On Christmas Day, the restaurant started the Friday Seafood buffet early. It was available for lunch. We were blown away at how flavorful everything was. And being from New Orleans, I am not easily impressed by Cajun styled foods outside the city. The French Quarter Buffet is a must do for any "foodies" in Atlantic City.

French Quarter Buffet: "Poor choice"
Sep 17, 2009
: restaurant customer

This was a disappointment. After reading other reviews, I thought the buffet at the Showboat was going to be good. Maybe I hit a bad night, but I doubt it.

The salad bar was very poor. There was a bowl of iceberg lettuce that looked past its prime. The featured salad, a chicken Caesar, was the best thing on the entire salad bar. The dressings were unlabeled, so it was impossible to tell which, if any, were low fat.

The entrees weren't even memorable and the desserts were sparse. The steam table and salad bar were not kept wiped clean. That is a big issue for me.

I was not happy with this meal, and would not go back.

French Quarter Buffet: "Awesome food"
Mar 22, 2009
: Creston Lamonth

This restaurant was very nice. The theme of this restaurant make you feel like you are outside, but you really not. They have a variety of food to choose from. The cost for lunch was only $17 and dinner about $20. Great food for a low cost, which leave you with more money to gamble.

French Quarter Buffet: "YUMMMMMMAY!"
Aug 17, 2008
: Lori Krok Ask me a question

This is a great buffet for the price. Adults are like $18, kids aren't even half that. They have everything from Mexican food to Chinese food, salads, desserts that are sugar free (I'm diabetic so I appreciated being able to indulge without "indulging")they have baked foods, fried foods, baked potato bar, southern foods, espresso & coffee bar, a separate bar area for alcoholic beverages, I could go on. If you go, please bring your appetite- you're gonna need it! It's very overwhelming at first and you have no idea where to start. The fish is fresh & they have many kinds, spaghetti & sausage & meatballs and other Italian goodies, they have something for everyone, and then some. You HAVE to go. You won't be disappointed!
