Donut and Bagel Connection:
"Their Store Coupons are no good......"
May 19, 2009: Julia Lockman
I was given a coupon book for local restaurants when I signed up for the Total Rewards Card at Bally's & it included one for the Donut & Bagel Connection. It was supposed to be good for a free bagel or donut with the purchase of 3 bagels or donuts. There were no stipulations about what kind of bagels or donuts you needed to purchase in order to qualify to use the coupon. We bought 2 bagels, 2 donuts & 3 large coffee's. When I handed the cashier the coupon, they told us that we couldn't use the coupon because the bagels needed to be plain, nothing on them. It doesn't say this on the coupon, just that we can't get cash value back or combine coupons. We ended up spending $18 for the 2 bagels, 2 donuts & 3 coffee's. The bagels & donuts were very large & tasted good, but for the price, next time, I'm going to Dunkin' Donuts before I check in. I just didn't understand why we couldn't use the coupon.
