Great location, right off the boardwalk. There's an outdoor patio. Lunch menu is only available from 11:30-2:00 but it super cheap ($4 to $5 sandwiches). They also have daily specials for lunch and dinner. Lunch one day was a meatball sub for $3! Dinner specials are usually $8. I got a fish sandwich for lunch one day ($4.50) & a fish and crab cake dinner with fries and cole slaw for dinner ($8.00). This place is a great find!!!
We went there because a friend recommended it. But I will never again. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich , which in the menu was detailed with mozzarella cheese. When I received it, it was provolone. When I asked they said, oh they just write that we don't ever have mozzarella. My friend ordered a burger well done and it came out rare. Another thing, the gravy taste like mustard because they put horseradish in it! I will not recommend it and will not be going there again!
This is a great place to start or end the night in Atlantic City. Even though the menu is small, everything I have had there is great. The pub is open 24 hours so getting something to eat at a cheap price after you've lost all your money is fabulous!
This place is great! If you are tired of paying way too much at the casinos this is the place for you. You will find friendly help, great prices, and great tasting food. There is also a very cute outdoor patio where you can sit at the bar, a table or in a gazebo. I really can't say enough about this place. My wife and I travel to Atlantic City frequently for concerts and we were shocked at the price of drinks in the casinos. Then we discovered the Irish Pub and it has become our first stop whenever we are in town. It is also conveniently located right next to the Atlantic Palace.
was nice to see an old building still there after 100 years, food was good waitress stunk really bad.the menu was not that big, little to choose from, was very dark inside. There was really nothing there for the kids to eat. so we went else were to feed them.
This restaurant is a very pleasant surprise in Atlantic City. The food is good and the prices are amazingly reasonable for a resort town. In addition, the atmosphere is very interesting. I found myself reading all of the posters and memorabilia on the walls as I am a bit of a history buff. Highly recommended.
We ate here at least once a day to enjoy the food, atmosphere and service. They were very good to us when we arrived early and had to kill time before we checked into our hotel. The patio allows smoking and the bartender was very personable. Oh and the beer prices were very reasonable and allowed us to stay within our budget. The food was good and priced like a local pub should be. Also, they provided the home feeling, "no we don't have that today" if you get the special one day don't expect it the next day. That really made us laugh, kind of like getting dinner at home, "I made this today, this is what we are eating". It was great. We are very low maintenance people so we found this entertaining.
This might be one of the best places in all of Atlantic City. The food is unbelievable and the prices make you feel like you have hit the jack pot. You can eat a full meal for under $7. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area, the staff is fun and friendly and it's located in the center of it all.
We found the Irish pub through a friend. The atmosphere is laid back and easy going. We stopped in for the poor mans lunch special which is a soup and sandwich for $2.50. We also had the chicken steak sandwich and the crab patties. They have blackboard specials usually for around $6.95. We always stop there when in Atlantic city. The Irish Pub is always on our to do list. The Pub is definitely not fine dining, but a great place for a beer and a visit with friends.
While it is not the most upscale eatery it does have the charm and feeling of a restaurant from the 30s, 40s and early 50s.
The service is quick and friendly, the food is good and the prices are better than reasonable.
The decor is old time and is relaxing and laid back, no frills just a great place for good food.
We stop every time we are in AC
A very nice break from the boardwalk and the hustle and bustle of the Casino floors. Prices are great and you get you moneys worth. Friendly and fun. I have gone there since i was 21 and allowed to gamble and stop every year at least one time. A stop for all friends
Have eaten here on previous visits but also saw sandwich board advertising Wednesday special so decided to eat here again. Have purchased items in the Irish shop part of the Pub. Staff is always most friendly and helpful. It would be more convenient if the pub accepted credit cards. The salad that was ordered was much to large for one person. Suggestion, charge less and make it smaller.
We've eaten here many times over the last 12 years or so. This particular time was at lunch with the kids. We sat outdoors in the comfortable but not exotic patio. Very attentive staff with quick food delivery (important when with kids). Menu is VERY limited but there should be something for everyone. My lunch of a delicious steak sandwich, steak fries and beer was more than filling. Our dinners were always good and very, very reasonably priced.
This is a favorite place for my family to visit while in Atlantic City. The food is great and the price is right. It's a great place to relax and have a few drinks while meeting people. You can sit and eat at the bar while watching a "game" or enjoy the entertainment.
