IT WAS A GREAT STAY. I LOVED THE BEACH AND THE INDOOR POOL. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREATER IF THERE WAS AN OUTSIDE POOL/BAR. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS BAD WAS THAT THERE WAS FOUR GIRLS IN ONE ROOM, AND WE HAD TO CALL ROOM SERVICE THREE TIMES FOR EXTRA TOWELS. THE RESTAURANTS WERE A BIT EXPENSIVE. THE BEACH WAS OKAY. IT WAS SO CLOSE TO THE MALL, WENT SHOPPING. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AT TRUMP PLAZA.

The hotel was nice but could have used freshening up, namely the bathroom. The casino was great fun. We found the staff in the restaurant to be extremely courteous and helpful. The room itself was pretty clean but the grout around the tiles were dark with old soap scum and dirt. I totally forgot, the toilet was the worst toilet I have seen in my entire life! No fooling. The water pressure was so bad that it took at least 3 tries to flush toilet paper. Apparently it was to conserve water. We finally avoided using the washroom whenever possible.

I recently stayed at the Trump Plaza and have to say I was not all that impressed. I guess I was expecting a lot more for my money after paying $400.00 for 1 night. Upon arrival, we had a little difficulty with the check-in. It was not confirmed on the check-in note whether the room had been paid for or not (despite the fact my credit card was charged almost instantaneously after making the reservation). However, the receptionist who helped us was excellent! She did a wonderful job of straightening out and explaining the issue as well as getting us settled into our room. Unfortunately, the next time I head into Atlantic City I am most definitely either going to stay at the Tropicana or the Showboat--- both were beautiful and I liked the atmosphere much better in comparison to the Trump. I was especially inpressed with the Showboat, they had a great casino, excellent restaurants/buffet and a lot of shopping. All in all, I had a great weekend. The next time I pay that much money for a hotel though, I want to come home and talk about it for days!

The hotel was nice enough. It was horrible how most blackjack tables were no mid shoe entry. The room was pretty small, and had very small drawers. The workers were very good. They were accommodating. The food was very expensive. To use the gym, it cost $15 per day. That's ridiculous after I paid over $100 a night. The front desk was great. Check in and check out were fast and easy. And I lost $500 in Blackjack in about a half hour.

I thought the hotel was conveniently located, easy to get to from the expressway. Our room was nice with a great view of the ocean. The bathroom floor had long black hair in the corners, someone did not clean very well! The casino was a little confusing, some tables/areas you could smoke, others you could not, but none of the tables were marked smoking or non-smoking. Very confusing. A table we smoked at one night was non-smoking the next night. I thought the cocktail servers were pretty rude as far as tips went. We tipped the server very well and she never came back. So we didn't tip the next server at the next table and she was very rude, saying "I'm not coming back to this table if no ones going to tip". Well the woman who we did tip never came back so I guess it didn't really matter. I would have like a better choice of food late at night, we only had one choice. Room service was great.

The room was clean, however, our bed was as hard as a rock and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The room was very small. The water pressure in the sink was too low. We only slept in our room so it served the purpose for a one night stay. I feel that the wallpaper could have been easily fixed and when beds get to an uncomfortable level, that they need to be replaced. We stayed here to be close to the ocean and other casinos.

We were disappointed that we could not use the hotel shuttle because we didn't have an executive players card. It was our first trip here and apparently they weren't too concerned about us using their other properties. Also they need exhaust fans in the bathrooms of the rooms. We were otherwise pleased with the staff and rooms.
There was also a problem with ordering specific beers on the casino floor. Once again you had to have a specific card to order a miller lite beer but could have a bud lite. It didn't make any sense.

I had no major problems with my stay there. The only problem I experienced was the card for my room stopped working and my id was in my room, so i had to have security escort me to my room to verify that I was in that room. Other than I have no complaints. Also, I like the fact that the employee's name tags had their names and where they are from. I made a lot of friends and enjoyed get conversation

We enjoyed our stay at Trump. The Service was impeccable and the staff was great. They took time to talk to us and tell us about the facilities and the area, even recommending some bars, and restaurants. The room was small, but we had a great ocean view. The location is great, right in the middle of the boardwalk and close to shopping and other casinos. The 24 cafe was the best. Loved being able to have eggs at 2am!

The hotel service was great, rooms are very nice for the price and the location is awesome. Food is priced great and for most parts the hotel was very clean. There are areas of peeling wallpaper, pitted and unpolished brass. Pool area was not very inviting and did not see an area for changing. If you stay in the East Tower, you have to travel across the casino floor and up elevators to get to the pool area. You could put your bathing suit on underneath your clothing or wear them. In all the Casino is very small ( no poker tables) and the waitress staff is by far the worse I have ever seen in any casino. Hotel was good for sleeping and food for a reasonable price.

Overall, I would rate this hotel average. You had to wait 5-10 minutes for hot water for the shower, the fan motor for the room heat was loud, and the Buffet was definitely not worth the price. Mr. Trump should fire himself for offering it. The manager of the Buffet should go to the Virginia City Buffet at the Wild West Casino to get an idea on how to run one.
As far as the casino goes, in three days I did not see one person getting a jackpot, there were many machines that were "out of order", and Security needs to be "beefed up". Every day I had people walking up to me begging for money, and in one section of the casino, every day there were groups of Asians who would sit and watch the people play. One or two of them would get up and sit down on either side of you when you sat down to play, for what reason I can't say, but it did make me and many people around me uncomfortable. You do not see these things at the Indian Casinos in upstate New York. All things said, we would probably stay at Bally's if we were ever to go back to Atlantic City.

We had previously stayed at the Trump Marina, and were satisfied with that location. This time, we decided to try a different hotel, and picked this one. It certainly had a different feel from the Trump Marina. We thought it was a bit more sterile, while the Marina had a more comfortable feeling. However, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. We did not find there to be too much to do in the evening, besides the casino. We would have liked to see a night club of some sort, especially for people over 40. A piano bar might be a good idea. The hotel is very convenient to shopping, restaurants, etc., and that was a plus. When we decide to come back to Atlantic City, we will try a different hotel.

Also, we had a bad experience with a total jerk with a Comp Card in one of the cafes. We were the only people in line for a table, and were about to be seated, when he came up and got in our faces and in the face of the hostess, complaining about our being in the wrong "location," and preventing him from being seated immediately. Get a grip, there was no one else in line.

Convenient to Caesar's Pier Shops and Restaurants. We visited because of the Boat Show - shuttles were provided. Dinner at Phillip's Seafood (on the pier) was excellent. Be sure to catch the water show at the end of the pier. Prices in Trump Plaza bars are outrageous. BYOB ! We were fortunate to get an ocean view room which was certainly a treat. If you arrive in a car, be sure to visit nearby Smithville and folks who enjoy the outdoors will certainly enjoy the 7 mile drive through the Brigantine Wildlife Refuge just a few miles north of Atlantic City off Rt 9.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and am very likely to return. I wish that the casino provided some poker tables. I feel like that would complete that area of the hotel. Everything else was very good, the service at check in/out was well done and the dining was also good. Perhaps a bar and/or restaurant geared more towards my demographic could help bring more people in. We considered staying at other hotels for that very reason. However, the stay was enjoyable and I'm sure we will be back

The staff was accommodating in room selection. The front staff gave my wife and I a beach front room when I requested it. The price was right so I booked the room. The room was clean when we checked in. I would consider booking the Trump Plaza again on our next stay in AC.The room was very nice. We ordered a King size bed No smoking and the mattress was of very good quality.

The view was beach front was looking over some debris from another facility.

The staff were accommodating.
