This Hotel needs work. The rooms were very old and need an upgrade. The location was excellent, we had a room overlooking the water. It was raining the two days we were there so we could't walk the boardwalk. We wanted to eat at the 24 hr. place but they were closed because they were cleaning and we wanted breakfest so we went next door to Ceasars. Overall our stay was good and we did win at the casino which paid for our stay.

I did like the hotel. The staff was helpful and polite. The lobby and casino were nice. The room could have been a little cleaner (nothing major, just a little dust) but had a beautiful view of the ocean and boardwalk. I didn't like the pool hours in terms of them allowing children in. It was very limited. I feel that since they want to keep kids out of the casino, they should be more liberal with the pool hours. All in all, I did enjoy my stay and would stay there again.

I was traveling with friends, this was not one of the choices above. Conveniently located next to Boardwalk Hall. We were there for a show at Boardwalk Hall. Had a problem with the waitresses at the Beach Bar, we were sitting at on of the bar tables and were totally ignored. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful. She helped me put in a complaint. I gave her names, I don't know if anything will be done about it, but at least she tried to help.

The hotel room needed to be cleaned again when I arrived. I was able to find a housekeeper with a vaccumm. Check in was a very long process (not enough staff on site). Every time I called the front desk they were in the middle of some emergency. As we were leaving we were told that we wouldn't be able to have a bellman to bring our luggage to the front lobby for quite some time. I made three trips and did it myself. I was very disappointed In the Trump Plaza and would never stay there again!

We had a great ocean view over looking the boardwalk and loved how close we were to the boardwalk and the beach. Our room was nice, clean and quiet. Facilities included many great restaurants and shopping. We were disappointed that internet was not included with the cost of the room and that the pool was only open for a few hours a day for children. But over all a great place to stay, friendly staff, clean, quiet and close to everything.

I was surprised to find out that Trump Plaza does NOT have a poker room..that was the reason I went and that is why I am not sure I will stay there again. I had to go next door to play. I thought the room and staff was great, very polite, room was great. I thought the casino was great, the dealers at the black jack tables were very funny and knew what they were doing.

I had a good time and I love how close it is to the shopping. The room was nice and the kids had a nice view of the beach. But we did have a problem that the kids could not go swimming because it wasn't the weekend or a holiday. Nothing was said to us until the girls got all dressed and ready to go in. The front desk seen that we had kids at check in and did not said anything to us either. We were not living them by them self so that was not fair. This web site does not say that kids can not go swimming on the week days. We said from Monday til Wednesday and we paid for two rooms and we did not get any answer at all. We should of gotten a discount for the problem that we had and heard nothing about it.

The room I stay was not in the condition of the quality of your standards, the bed was broken, almost in the floor, the night table were scratch the paint for the amount of money I pay the room was very bad condition, I had a do not disturb sign on the door the maid came in. I been coming to your hotel and casino for more that 10 years and I never seen anything like this.

Hotel was excellent. It was very convenient to the Convention Center which was our purpose for coming to Atlantic City. Being new to staying overnight in Atlantic City we found the staff very willing and helpful. We had questions about almost everything from where to park to how to get around to what to do and the staff answered every one of them. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully our next visit to Atlantic City will be soon and we will be staying at the Trump Plaza again.

When I read the reviews on this website, as well as others I started questioning whether I chose the right hotel. The location is great, the casino itself was great, I won a substantial amount of money, the rooms were ok... on the first night we stayed in the Main Tower, it was good, bathroom spacious and shower was great!!! The second night we went to the East Tower to get a great view of the ocean, BIG MISTAKE!!! Immediately we called to go back to the main tower, too much to even explain in detail..other than that, the front desk was very helpful, and we had a great time!!! We will definitely be back! =)

I was very excited to stay at Trump Plaza, we got a GREAT deal on the room - that would be the extent of my excitement in regards to where we would reside.

Upon arrival we found most of the staff around the hotel to be rather unhelpful. When we walked pulled into the parking garage the attendant just stared at us... apparently he wanted the $5 parking fee... he never even said anything. Then once in the garage we were completely lost, clearly unsure of where to go and there was nobody to ask. Then we finally found someone after 10 minutes of walking in circles and made it to the front desk.

When we got to the checkout they told us that we couldn't have a smoking room , which is what I requested upon reservations.

The card slot in the elevators to bring us up to our floor only worked half the time for most of the trip. I noticed other people having difficulty as well. When we finally did get to our room it was very nice- there was a window but it didn't open, and the thermostat couldn't go below 65. The room was very uncomfortable, the small fan put to "High" on the thermostat barely even worked. We spent three nights sleeping under just a sheet; even though it was snowing outside we were still sweating. To top it off, the outlet by the window/table didn't work so we had to rearrange the room and unplug other things in order to have a working light in the location that we needed it.

I was also disappointed when we got down to the spa area to find out how early the pool closed (7 o clock?!?) as well as that the sauna on the women's side was not working. It was bad enough that the jacuzzi/saunas were not coed so my significant other and I were unable to enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi together, but worse that he could have used the sauna, and I could not have. After we left the pool they required my significant other to give up his towel before exiting and he was forced to put his clothes back on over his bathing suit because he didn't want to walk through the hotel in what he had on to wear in the pool (a 'smaller' bathing suit).

The service within the casino was also poor, I tipped all the people working when I ordered a drink while playing slots, and it took most of them over a half an hour to come back with one. There was more than one occasion where I tipped a waitress in advance (after ordering) in hopes that it would get her to come back sooner with my drink, and still no luck. I would usually end up leaving the game I was playing, very thirsty.

I am not sure if things were not up to par because we came during the week rather than the weekend, because we were younger people, or because Trump just needs to get some new staff members, but regardless, we were disappointed in our stay.

I enjoyed my stay with my husband, this was the first time in 30 years we were actually able to get away with out our children. I have been looking forward to spending some time with my husband just to get to know him and allow him to get to know me. We would probably come back to celebrate again, just not doing the off seasons. I truly missed the shows and some of your more reasonably priced restaurants. My husband truly enjoyed.

The hotel is perfectly located and at a very affordable price. However, you can definitely see the age of this hotel. A renovation is much needed. The faucet in my room was peeling, the windows look battered, and the furniture was not in great conditions. Again, for the price, I guess it makes sense. Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY. Location, location, location. Great price! The people at the front desk are friendly and extremely helpful. I wish the snow wouldn't have sent us home, two nights would have been better.

Hotel was nice, but very exciting when it comes to night life. Most of the bars were to costly and we went to Bally Wild West to drink and entertainment. Trump Plaza had very little entertainment and it was poor quality. The shopping with outlet store in front of Trump Plaza was very nice. The room was nice, accept the bathtub was dirty and had chip of paint peeling off it. Overall the best part of the hotel was the location.

While I did enjoy my stay in Atlantic City, I found it frustrating at not being able to select a restaurant of my choice within the hotel, as many of them were closed. I wound up eating at another nearby hotel.
The casino did not seem to capture my enthusiasm as perhaps other casinos had, and I did not feel drawn to spend time at the casino except to walk through it to get to the parking garage.
There was no effort on the part of the hotel/staff to engage a first-time Atlantic City visitor!
