For those who choose a fine hotel for beach side stays, quality dining and relaxing spa, please look elsewhere. The added fees/costs for routine resort amenities (WiFi, jacuzzi, etc.) was like annoying airlines fees. While gambling is the heart of their business, the advertisements allude to relaxing stays and enjoyable beach life. Their TV promotional channels pointed viewers to the hotel web address, then charge a WiFi connection fee through a third party for 24 hour use. The additional fee for the jacuzzi and exercise room use seemed a bit unreasonable.

When we checked in we wanted to shower after a 6 hour drive,but the water was not hot. We called the front desk and they told us that the rooms on this particular floor were not used a lot and you have to let the hot water run until it gets hot. So finally after 15 minutes we did get hot water. So, every time we wanted to take a shower we had to run the hot water over 10 minutes to get it hot. Not what we expected. Very disappointed and it spoiled the trip.

There were not enough dollar tables for blackjack. There were only three and they were full and then there were 5 and 10 dollar tables that weren't being used. When sitting at machines no one brought me any drinks even when my service light was on. The room was clean and smelled nice. The staff at the front desk was nice. The boardwalk was convenient from the hotel. Our room was terrific. They upgraded us to a suite because I wanted a king bed and there weren't any available in the regular rooms.

Self parking garage is too far to walk with any baggage or beach gear. Should have mini bus that runs from hotel to self parking garage. Very hard for handicap and older people who have a hard time getting around.
Need some type of map and hotel information/services offered given out at check in, was very hard finding restaurants, never new there was a pool. Did not know about beach rentals offered. Buffet not opened. Should have bell boys to assist all patrons not just valet parking. No night entertainment was available.

Hotel was nice, service was slow, elevators were a nightmare though,my card would not work at times for the upper rooms.View was really nice,beach view spectacular, casino atmosphere was pleasant and very clean, casino was not smokey, even in the areas that were considered smoking the smoke was not thick, very good ventilation system, I was disappointed that the rooms did not provide Wi-Fi, you had to enter a certain area for it. Security was very good.I would stay again.

Staff very friendly, courteous,accommodating, except at beach bar. "Music" bounced our chairs on beach; complaints met with arrogance and indifference. During night, "music" supposed to stop at midnight, but went on until 2:00 a.m. Were awakening at 4:30 a.m. to leave, so didn't get much sleep; again complaints ignored. Restaurant sign said open at 5:00 a.m. but still closed at 5:30 a.m. Not serving breakfast anywhere in hotel before 7:00 a.m. Manager offered nothing.

I stayed here with a few friends. The room was not as big as we expected for the price but was still nice. We only stayed one night so didn't check out the pool or anything, just the beds. The room did have a nice view of the beach from the 30th floor. Everything was close by too- the casino, bars, restaurants, and of course the board walk. All in all, nice room, would come back again to the Trump.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay; but I expected more from the room. When we initially tried to get into our rooms out keys did not work and we had to go back to the front desk, but that was not a big deal.The bath tub had those slip mats and that is a complete turn off for me. I don't use one of those in my house because they collect germs, and to see it in a hotel disgusted me. Also, the drain got stuck and the water would not go down; we had to call to get it fixed. The casino was great, no complaints there, but I do have a complaint about their out of date signs. The night before my trip my sister and I looked up some of the eateries and were looking forward to the cookie shop. Later when we arrived, we all had the craving for cookies and ice cream. After about 10 minutes of followings signs we found out that the shop had been closed down 2 years ago. It annoyed me that the signs and web sight had not been up dated, its misleading.

I stayed at the Trump Plaza and had an overall good time. Would have liked to experience more of what they had to offer but was only staying one night and then headed out early to play some golf. Table games were nice and had no problem finding a seat and dealers were very friendly win or lose. Free drinks were a little slow coming around, but hey they are free so not really that bad at all. Room was a great price and that was the main reason for choosing this hotel.

Hotel did not have enough food after 10pm when we were looking to eat. Casinos were small. Signs were very helpful getting around. The hotel room was very clean and the view was great. Corner room is great so you can get a view of the ocean and the small town. Staff is very friendly. Hostesses in the casino were few we ended up going to the bar to get a drink a few times because we waited so long. Otherwise a pleasurable stay.

My husband wanted to do something special for my birthday. He knew I wanted to swim and I like to gamble. The Trump Plaza had a central location on the boardwalk and a casino but an especially nice, very large, indoor pool with a wonderful atmosphere. The chairs were comfortable and situated by floor to ceiling picture windows over-looking the beach. The palm trees gave it a tropical feel which was appreciated since I wanted an island to visit. Keep up the good work!

The size of the rooms were good the bath rm. was very spacious, however our room had an odor and our carpet next to the window was very wet, the rooms were dated. The people at the front desk were very friendly.The location was great. We would consider staying again. The casinos were recently upgraded which were nice would of loved to have seen some live entertainment. Maybe we would consider going a different month than April next time. Over it was a good getaway we were there 4 days.Until next time. The Sullivan from Northern Maine

We arrived a day early for our visit, but could not get a room at the Trump Plaza or anywhere else. We slept in my truck for forty five minutes then played in the Casino ALL night. Front desk was a little slow in getting us into our room (2 pm the next day)
We hoped they could have got us into a room sooner, we checked with them on the hour but they just told us to come back later.

The second room that we were given was very nice but somewhat less than I expected from a Trump property. The staff was helpful. It would have been nice to have some instruction on the hotel layout. I found the signage plentiful but somewhat confusing. I never did find the pool but I didn't ask either, I expected the hotel directory in the room to have more explicit direction. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were not told that the free parking did not include valet parking until we asked for our car, but that was not really a big deal. I like to know everything up front.

My husband and I expected more from a Trump standpoint. Our room was rather small. We had a corner room near a stairwell, so we heard noises all night long. We actually had to turn sideways in order to fit between the bed and the tv. They still have the big bulky tv sets (no flatscreens) Our bathroom was very cold and the shower felt very uncomfortable due to the water streaming at a very forceful speed. It was broke.
