I recently stayed at the Trump Plaza and have to say I was not all that impressed. I guess I was expecting a lot more for my money after paying $400.00 for 1 night. Upon arrival, we had a little difficulty with the check-in. It was not confirmed on the check-in note whether the room had been paid for or not (despite the fact my credit card was charged almost instantaneously after making the reservation). However, the receptionist who helped us was excellent! She did a wonderful job of straightening out and explaining the issue as well as getting us settled into our room. Unfortunately, the next time I head into Atlantic City I am most definitely either going to stay at the Tropicana or the Showboat--- both were beautiful and I liked the atmosphere much better in comparison to the Trump. I was especially inpressed with the Showboat, they had a great casino, excellent restaurants/buffet and a lot of shopping. All in all, I had a great weekend. The next time I pay that much money for a hotel though, I want to come home and talk about it for days!

Trump Plaza was such a treat for me. One weekend my girlfriends and I decided to take a last minute trip to Atlantic City, not wanting to be rushed we decided to drive down. We were concerned about the price of and cleanliness of the accommodations being that the price was very affordable. To our surprise this place was glamorous nothing but the best and the staff made us feel as thought we were regulars.
The customer service check-out saw us later that day and she replied," I'm glad to see you are having a good time.
Theres nothing special about us, for her to remember us, that was a nice touch.

I am a world traveler and have had the opportunity to stay in some very nice places. My wife and I always enjoy visiting Atlantic City because the hotels and staff service are world class. The Trump properties are my preference because they are the first hotels I stayed when I visited Atlantic City some twenty years ago and because they are first class properties with the most convenient and tasty room service on the boardwalk. If you 're ever in Atlantic City and don't want to loose your shirt paying for a hotel but still want first class accommodations, the Trump Plaza and Taj Mahal are for you.

My only disappointment- I was planning on returning to the exact same hotel for my next visit, possibly wanting to upgrade my room to a suite next time. I was told hotel policy does not permit showing rooms in advance prior to booking them.....This makes no sense, I might consider a different hotel suite because of this.
This was my first visit to Atlantic City, the hotel supplied "What's On, Atlantic City" magazine( vol 1, issue 4) which was an extremely helpful resource guide to have already in the room upon arrival.

We chose this hotel as a spur of the moment addition to our honeymoon. After spending a week at the same price a night for all inclusive in the Poconos we expected much more. The room was dirty. The bathroom floor and toilet were covered in hair. We were told the room was non-smoking, yet had burn marks on the comforter. The wall had something red on it (hopefully it was ketchup). The room was also very small. We were very disappointed and will never stay at this hotel again.

This was our first trip to Atlantic City. Our hotel was in a great location. We were right next to the Pier Shops and right next to other casinos. Everyone was very, very nice at the hotel. I think the hotel could have been a little cleaner. I know we didn't stay on the "rich" side but we did pay a lot of money and for that kind of money I think our floor, elevators and room could have been better taken care of. Otherwise there were no problems and again the people we great.

I had a great time with my girlfriend and I. Our room had ocean view, the employees were very helpful with everything at anytime and the bars were fun to just sit and relax at. The casino was fun even though we are not gamblers but a great spot to just sit back and relax. Most of all I would say always check your watch because time flies when you are having fun. The location was also great, right in the middle of everything!! I would definitely do this again!!

I took my wife to this hotel for her Birthday and she loved everything about it. We will probably go again sometime. The room was really nice and clean. It was nice looking out and seeing the ocean and just going down stairs and playing the slots. Going shopping and walking out on the boardwalk. The food was good and we didn't have to look to far to find it either. Wish we had stayed longer and got to see a Show.

The hotel was nice enough. It was horrible how most blackjack tables were no mid shoe entry. The room was pretty small, and had very small drawers. The workers were very good. They were accommodating. The food was very expensive. To use the gym, it cost $15 per day. That's ridiculous after I paid over $100 a night. The front desk was great. Check in and check out were fast and easy. And I lost $500 in Blackjack in about a half hour.

My time at the Trump plaza, was great. The two Restaurants we had meals at, EVO, and the 24 Hour Cafe were both great meals. The service of the staff at both restaurants were also very good. Both staffs were pleasant and welcoming. The Hotel staff we encountered from check in to housekeeping were also very pleasant. Overall a very positive experience from our stay at Trump Plaza. The Hotel was very clean, and the views of the ocean were great.

I was pleasantly pleased with the location and the beauty of the hotel. I had read a bad review but decided to try it anyway and I was so happy that i did. The staff was very nice although a little flirty. The hotel room was a real delight, clean and spacious. The hotel is located right on the boardwalk and is within walking distance to the various shopping stores and or restaurants. I definitely would stay at the Trump Plaza hotel and Casino again.

I thought the hotel was conveniently located, easy to get to from the expressway. Our room was nice with a great view of the ocean. The bathroom floor had long black hair in the corners, someone did not clean very well! The casino was a little confusing, some tables/areas you could smoke, others you could not, but none of the tables were marked smoking or non-smoking. Very confusing. A table we smoked at one night was non-smoking the next night. I thought the cocktail servers were pretty rude as far as tips went. We tipped the server very well and she never came back. So we didn't tip the next server at the next table and she was very rude, saying "I'm not coming back to this table if no ones going to tip". Well the woman who we did tip never came back so I guess it didn't really matter. I would have like a better choice of food late at night, we only had one choice. Room service was great.

The room was clean, however, our bed was as hard as a rock and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The room was very small. The water pressure in the sink was too low. We only slept in our room so it served the purpose for a one night stay. I feel that the wallpaper could have been easily fixed and when beds get to an uncomfortable level, that they need to be replaced. We stayed here to be close to the ocean and other casinos.

We were disappointed that we could not use the hotel shuttle because we didn't have an executive players card. It was our first trip here and apparently they weren't too concerned about us using their other properties. Also they need exhaust fans in the bathrooms of the rooms. We were otherwise pleased with the staff and rooms.
There was also a problem with ordering specific beers on the casino floor. Once again you had to have a specific card to order a miller lite beer but could have a bud lite. It didn't make any sense.

I had no major problems with my stay there. The only problem I experienced was the card for my room stopped working and my id was in my room, so i had to have security escort me to my room to verify that I was in that room. Other than I have no complaints. Also, I like the fact that the employee's name tags had their names and where they are from. I made a lot of friends and enjoyed get conversation
