Third World hotel located in AC. Belongs more in the economy section of a town like Branson, MI. Complete letdown ad disappointment from a property bearing the Trump name. Felt like I was in a Motel 6. The rooms are smelly and old. Have a very cheesy 80's feel to them. Save your time & money. Go to Harrah's or MGM or Caesars. If you think you are getting a quality, classy hotel worthy of the Trump name, you are in for a shock!

We were treated like a number. Poor service at the desk...no incentive to spend money at the Casino. Did not get the room we requested and didn't get compensation or apology for unsatisfactory service. Room cleaning was great. Check-out was made easy. We felt like we were not as important as the VIP's. We had to go to Bally's to enjoy the entertainment we came to TRUMP Plaza to get. But as for Atlantic City, we enjoyed the stay. Plan to come back but to chose a different a hotel.

It was very confusing finding where to go. The elevator system of going up to find another elevator to take you where to go was hard to follow. Staff on the floors were also very vague in giving directions. They certainly need some training in directing people to the right place. We were attending John Edward and were told by three different people three different floors to get off and how to get there. A system of maps, such as you find in the mall would make it easier to follow. Also helpful would be a directory by each elevator listing what floors/and venues it will take you to. I was traveling with a person in a wheelchair and it was tiring for her and those pushing her trying to find the right elevators, etc. One person, even knowing she was in an elevator told us to take the escalator. We stayed the the Trump Plaza because of the location and the price. The spa was very dirty and they did refund my 15 dollar to use the spa, but while soaking in the hot tub a few minutes I noticed a black line of dirt all the way around the tub. I ask the manager to check it out and she offered my refund but they kept the tip! The restaurant was very expensive Cafe 24, 14.95 for a burger that was way over cook... they received the Black Banana Award.

We had a decent time until the last night,Trump offers a Trump One card which no one explained was pretty much useless until we checked out, very rude representative at check out. We will never stay here or at any Trump casino again, first and last time we will visit Atlantic City. We were married in Las Vegas and will spend our money there in the future.
Don't bother boosting the economy in Atlantic City.
Trump deserves to be filing bankruptcy after what we experienced for the money!! Don't waste your hard earned dollars here, stay home!!

I have stayed in AC before at Resorts & Bally's, the rooms were much cleaner and by far a better value. At $400 a night you would expect the ice-buckets to be clean of the last persons filth. It was quite disgusting and to say I was disappointed is actually being kind. I will be crossing Trump Plaza off my list for future consideration. P.S. The toilet leaked too, that sure was nice to walk through first thing in the morning.

We decided to try the Trump Plaza for our honeymoon. We first arrived at 4:15 our room was still with housekeeping. Housekeeping left our room unfinished. NO SHEETS/NO PILLOWCASES/DIRTY GLASS.
2nd nite the hotel lost power in our entire tower. Nothing was given as a comp besides a free coffee.
We went for a drink at the liquid bar. We were ignored.
Beach Bar server Mike was very nice. Kudos to Mike ONLY. I will never go back.

My wife and I were sorely disappointed with the quality of the room. Although it was a non-smoking room, there was evidence lingering in the air that person(s) were smoking and there was a faint smell of vomit on the bed. The bath tub was small, the shower head was too low, and there were several broken tiles throughout the bathroom, which was in need of grouting. The service was horrible. One day we left the room at 9:00 a.m. and returned at 3:00 p.m. to find the bed not made up and the bathroom not tidied up.

The Front desk staff were amongst the rudest employees I have encountered in a hotel worldwide. The air conditioning in the hotel was so cold that even long pants and a sweater were not enough. When we asked if something could be done about the temperature, the staff rudely replied to "go get a jacket". I am from Canada and never would I have thought that a winter jacket was needed to visit Atlantic City in June! The room was o.k. but very unimpressive for the price. The pool was disgusting, the staff were impolite and unaccommodating, and the hotel was greatly out-dated. Very disappointing. I would never stay at the Trump Plaza Hotel again.

We chose this hotel as a spur of the moment addition to our honeymoon. After spending a week at the same price a night for all inclusive in the Poconos we expected much more. The room was dirty. The bathroom floor and toilet were covered in hair. We were told the room was non-smoking, yet had burn marks on the comforter. The wall had something red on it (hopefully it was ketchup). The room was also very small. We were very disappointed and will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel room was in poor condition; wall paper peeling, room had stuffy odor or had been used as a smoking room, not enough supplies in room, bed spread was stained, whirlpool not hot enough. Liquid Bar had glasses stored on dusty shelves.
Bartender did not know how to make cosmopolitan.
No security staff around to report that right out side hotel we noticed stolen wallets and a purse nearby. A disgrace for a "Trump" property. Decided not to discuss with hotel staff as I didn't want to ruin my stay.

The valet and bell hop were prompt and friendly the check in counter was less than happy and when you were on the casino floor trying to find a waitress to get a drink was non existant. we wanted to play the tables but have never played and if you tried to ask a question people were rude. we didn't know the resteraunt hours and were given mis information so ended up wandering all over the place finally asked a security guard who helped us. the nicer resteraunts did not open till evening and their coffee shop and china cafe was the quality of food I can get at the mall at home without the high prices . Food was poor but service even worse . Some things should be automatic when eating in a sit down resteraunt not haveing to request for it like you are a bother to them. Even though Atlantic city is closer to home I'd rather pay the extra money and go to Las Vegas where service is impecable no matter who you are. There were a lot of elderly people there that weekend using wheelchairs and the staff were rude and unhelpful with them as well. For Trump Plaza a true disappointment. I ended up gambling with half the money than I normally spend and the only thing good I can say was it was nice to get away with my friends and laugh, but I could have just gone and played the slots somewhere else or waited to go to Las Vegas.

My Husband and I had a Very terrible stay here. Our room was non-smoking but had a very strong odor of smoke. I had to wash and dry clean all of our clothing because jut from staying in the room they smelled very strongly of smoke. The bathroom shower was filthy with a rubber mat for non-slip purposes but I removed it because it was unsanitary. The air conditioning did not work even after a tech was sent to our room to fix it!
We were very disappointed in the Trump name and will never stay in a Trump casino/hotel ever again!
