The Hotel is in a great location on the Boardwalk, close to shopping and good restaurants and entertainment.
The Trump Hotel has security precautions to prevent anyone publicly visiting the casino to enter into the hotel section. I thought this was great and felt more secure in my hotel room and leaving my personal luggage in the room. The one fault with the hotel stay was it took longer to check in than I expected. I checked in on a Saturday afternoon, and waited at least 30 to 45 minutes. There was only two desk clerks working.

I didn't enjoy staying at the Trump Plaza at all. I had stayed at the Hilton various times and wanted to try the trump and I don't think I will be going back. When I got there they put me in a non smoking room and it smelled as if some one had just been smoking there. Then I had planned to be in the indoor pool with my children & until I get to the hotel they tell me it's closed and no where on the site did they say that the pool was closed. So me and my family decided to go dine and be at the Hilton because everything at the Trump Plaza was closed.

I came to AC to bring my elderly aunt (83 years of age) for a nice get away. The first problem was in the casino. There was a problem with one of the machines I played. Only $1.50 but it was the manner the attendants acted when I brought to their attention. They were both border line rude. They talked like I didn't know what I was doing on machine, plus didn't reimburse the lost money. I was also disappointed in the sleeping room. It looks very old and dated. The beach view was nice however. I will say the staff in the restaurant were all nice and courteous. I will not return to Trump Plaza. I was truly disappointed.

The room was clean, comfortable and affordable. Any time we had a question, the staff was always courteous and very friendly. I have recommended this hotel to several of my friends and family. We plan to return again in the summer and hope to be able to stay here. We were especially happy with the large amount of non-smoking areas on the gambling floor. Valet parking is the best. They take your car and you don't have to worry about where to park. When it was time to leave, we had a very short wait for our car. Nice people.

My boyfriend & I enjoyed our stay at Trump Plaza hotel because we needed to get away from all of the stuff that was going on. The service was absolutely relaxing. Anytime we needed something & I called, room service was there. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone because its peaceful & the hotel room fee was reasonable.The only thing that was disappointing is that neither one of us won at the casinos but overall, the trip was great. Also, we are planning to come back very soon.

The hotel room could have used a few upgrades. The wallpaper in the bathroom had a couple of stains on it. Would have been nice to find a layout of the casino/hotel in the room but none available. New Trump One sign up a little deceptive have to come back for the additional $25. 24 Hour Cafe breakfast was not good. Eggs were overcooked. Home fry potatoes were soggy and cold. Would not recommend this restaurant. Would not eat at this restaurant again.

Trump Plaza is centrally located on the Boardwalk and everything is accessible within walking distance. The rooms are nice except we had some noisy neighbors who were up until 5:30am. We had to call security and they responded in 5 minutes to rectify the situation. Nice ocean view rooms upon request and the Caesar's Ocean Pier Shops are right across the boardwalk with some nice restaurants and shops. All in all a nice place to stay. We had a blast !!!

Bathroom need to be updated (looks and sounds OLD)-faucets make noise when you turn on, shower head points in one direction diagonally towards the wall. Nice size room with view but way TOO HOT! Tried to keep temp at 65 degrees and was still breaking out into a sweat. Non-smoking floor had faint smell of cigarettes in corridor. Very confusing lay out of lobby and casino. You can walk around in circles without making any progress of getting where you'd like to be going.

The wait time in line was only 10mins. but then again I actually was enjoying the music that was playing that kept me entertained. The lady that waited on me was very accommodating to my needs because I changed my room from two full size to a king which was not available. So they extended my check out time to 2pm. Which I thought was great because I came down to celebrate my birthday. But when my family said to come home because of weather I checked out early on Monday instead of Tuesday. I called the desk and it was after 12pm. The good thing I was able to check out and get reimburse for my second day. I greatly appreciate that! The room service was awesome and so was the people who delivered and whom I spoke with on the phone to place my orders. I could feel their smiles through the phone as they talked as I seen the smiles on the faces of the delivery personnel. I used Valet parking for the first time ever! It was a great experience and will use it again. Didn't have much luck at the slots but had trouble with the machine taking my $20. An assistant came over and changed it for me and made sure that the one she gave work. She put it in the machine herself. I was impressed! I enjoyed my stay! Thank you for having me!

Enjoyed my stay at the trump. No hassle, had the family with me and everything went smoothly. Checking in was Great. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable of the hotel & the surrounding area.

The children enjoyed a walk thru the hotel and its different views. the staff was accommodating to having an infant with us. Can not wait to return to the Trump for a romantic stay.

My wife and I came up from Virginia Beach for my brothers surprise birthday party and thought we would stay in AC an extra night to hit the casino. My husband and I expected more from a Trump standpoint. Our room was rather small. We had a corner room near a stairwell, so we heard noises all night long. We actually had to turn sideways in order to fit between the bed and the tv. They still have the big bulky tv sets (no flatscreens) Our bathroom was very cold and the shower felt very uncomfortable due to the water streaming at a very forceful speed. It was broke.

First off, You should never travel in the midst of a Blizzard, or Blizzard recovery. With that being said, my stay at the Trump Plaza was overall very good. Nice rooms, Great bed, and a great view of the ocean, even though it was winter. But, I assume due to road conditions after the storm, everything, or so it felt, was closed. Including restaurants, spa, the bar, and so on. Even on the second night of our stay, our anniversary, the one restaurant that we really had our hearts set on, before we even got to the hotel, was still closed. The Casino was pretty good, had a good time, except for the poor service of the service of the Drink Servers. But my biggest issue was with the Front desk. I used a travel site to book my reservation, and got some great incentives, including free valet services, food vouchers, and so on. At Check-in nothing was explained to me, as far as how to redeem any of this, causing me to have to come back down and wait on a very long line once again. And upon Checking out, I found out that varies different papers were supposed to be given to me upon my check-in, that would verify my deals. Because I was not given these papers, I was told there was no proof of any such deal so I was forced to pay extra to get my car back from valet, which was kind of upsetting, having to pay for the mistakes of employees. Overall I would return under different conditions possibly, and now that you know what questions to ask, I would recommend others.

A wonderful stay. Great front desk service and even added a few unexpected extras such as $20.00 a day food credits and spa use! Super security. The room was fresh-smelling and clean! Very nice house-keeping staff also. They did a superb job and even helped me get back in my room when I had inadvertently locked my key inside (not to imply that they indiscriminately opened room doors - they saw me open door and come out and then realize my key was still inside! Saved me a trip down to the front desk!

My experience at the hotel was the icing on the cake for my birthday weekend....I will be definitely be retuning for another visit. This time, I may even make it a girlfriends trip!

The rooms were well kept, the service was amazing, and the casino was BEAUTIFUL. Not to mention the breakfast was delicious! I couldn't had asked for a more perfect evening.
