The hotel decor leaves something to be desired, but its central location on the Boardwalk and closeness to the outlets make up for it. The casino was never full; in fact there are places where you could be the only one in an area gambling. I thought casinos were now non-smoking; but obviously that is not the case at Trump. Overall I liked staying at the hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel to others as well as stay there again. I went during the week, so it may be different on the weekends. I am planning another stay in Atlantic City in September and probably will stay at Trump. The only thing I might do differently is actually go to the pool. I have no idea where its at, and they definitely do not advertise its location.

Nice hotel located at the center of the Boardwalk with a beautiful and clean beach. Great location, great food and restaurants, well organized and serviced, comfortable room and safe environment. Reasonable rate. Highly Recommendable.

Overall the Trump Plaza offers a lot. The board walk area seems to be well policed providing a calm feeling of safety and security whether walking on the extensive board walk both ways or being at the beach.

Hotel did not have enough food after 10pm when we were looking to eat. Casinos were small. Signs were very helpful getting around. The hotel room was very clean and the view was great. Corner room is great so you can get a view of the ocean and the small town. Staff is very friendly. Hostesses in the casino were few we ended up going to the bar to get a drink a few times because we waited so long. Otherwise a pleasurable stay.

Our room especially windows were dirty, had to call twice for an iron and ironing board, advertised room service till 2am, called at 930 pm and was told it was closed. Staff was very friendly, breakfast is our room was very nice but and the waiter who brought it was a true gentleman. Unfortunately its the little things that can leave a bad impression on someone and that exactly what happened here. Room was in need of a makeover, will stay elsewhere next time.

Hotel was very nice, not extraordinary but very comfortable. Front desk check-in upon arrival was quick and easy, I think do to the booking with Atlantic City.Com. My husband wanted to do something special for my birthday. He knew I wanted to swim and I like to gamble. The Trump Plaza had a central location on the boardwalk and a casino but an especially nice, very large, indoor pool with a wonderful atmosphere. The chairs were comfortable and situated by floor to ceiling picture windows over-looking the beach. The palm trees gave it a tropical feel which was appreciated since I wanted an island to visit. Keep up the good work!

The size of the rooms were good the bath rm. was very spacious, however our room had an odor and our carpet next to the window was very wet, the rooms were dated. The people at the front desk were very friendly.The location was great. We would consider staying again. The casinos were recently upgraded which were nice would of loved to have seen some live entertainment. Maybe we would consider going a different month than April next time. Yes I would stay here again for room rates were great for the time of year and days I wanted. Staffers great and my room was excellent especially the shower. I felt very secure there. Food was excellent as was our waiter also. I did not do that great as the casino. But all in all, I came down here to relax and I was able to do just that. I would highly recommend this hotel for the room, service, ease of check in and the secure feeling you have while you are a guess.
The only negative I would say is they should have there own bus to transport guess around Atlantic City or at least give us a voucher to use.

Check in was long,it took 45 minutes,because of the long line,and there were only 3 desk clerks; then the clerk couldn't find our reservation,and then she sent us to the wrong room,were we nearly walked in on another couple; it sounds crazy,but i expected this much to happen because crazy is relative to me! We got the room 4 an incredible rate tho: $50! all in all,it was okay for one nite ; I do want to try Ballys tho next time!

Convenience of location and help fullness of staff. Will visit again in near future. The large plus was being on the boardwalk , provided alternative to casino. One draw back to area, not the hotel, i was not able to locate any live music.
Not looking for big name shows just wanted to find a lounge , bar with some live music for evening entertainment. Room with Ocean view was great, clean etc. Room service was excellent reasonably priced etc. No complaints!

We arrived a day early for our visit, but could not get a room at the Trump Plaza or anywhere else. We slept in my truck for forty five minutes then played in the Casino ALL night. Front desk was a little slow in getting us into our room (2 pm the next day)
We hoped they could have got us into a room sooner, we checked with them on the hour but they just told us to come back later.

Stayed here April 10-12, 2011. Stayed in the East Wing (great view of ocean) and also in the regular wing. Both had nice, large (clean!) bathrooms and tasteful room decor. Security asks for your room key, which keeps out the riff-raff. You can tell that they have recently put money into both towers of the hotel. I was pleasantly pleased with the rate ($49 for a Sunday & Monday). Do yourself a favor and eat at Evo. Paid $10 for a blackened talapia meal.

I was in Atlantic City for a conference at the convention center. This hotel was half the price of the one at the convention center which was the reason that I chose it. It was a few blocks and thus within walking distance of the convention center which also influenced my choice. I most likely will stay here again if the price remains reasonable when my next conference is held in Atlantic City. Although my stay was acceptable, I did not have internet access as the cost was more than I was willing to pay. I therefore wouldn't stay here again if I really needed to have access to the internet.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Trump Plaza, the room was absolutely beautiful and very clean. I love the soap and was wondering if I could purchase/have some. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. The only thing I would have changed was the rates, we wanted to stay two nights for our wedding anniversary but the second night was almost tripled the price of our first night. Other than that way to go Mr. Trump!

The second room that we were given was very nice but somewhat less than I expected from a Trump property. The staff was helpful. It would have been nice to have some instruction on the hotel layout. I found the signage plentiful but somewhat confusing. I never did find the pool but I didn't ask either, I expected the hotel directory in the room to have more explicit direction. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were not told that the free parking did not include valet parking until we asked for our car, but that was not really a big deal. I like to know everything up front.
