"Check-in" was great until the man working the counter screwed up the reservation. We were scheduled for two nights. He only put us down for one night. "Check-in" proceeded to call three times the next afternoon to discuss the THEIR problem. The third call resulting in us giving up the room (with a notice of 30 minutes). The inconvience and the attitude of the front desk person left plenty to be desired. She offered us a room with a king size bed even after being told we were staying with another couple. ???? I had to then get out of bed and go to the front desk.............management took over and took care of the problem promptly and are commended.

actually it was the first time to visit with my wife for 5 year wedding anniversary.
room was clean and nice view but bathroom was too small to use especialy taking shower. i have stayed just for one night so I couldn't use your any entertainment especially spa and pool so i think that next time will be interested on visiting your hotel for using all of your hotel entertainment. and I spent almost 8 hours to gamble in your casino. the first time of your casino impression was not so good but my wife said that it was very nice so my wife is interesing to visit next time...

The room was very small,especially the bathroom . The casino smoke was over-powering . Our eyes were burning from the smoke . There was only one breakfast restaurant ( excluding the buffet ) and it was rather dark and not too cheerful with very poor service . We ate there 3 times and each time we had to find either a waitress or waiter to serve us more coffee or water . The valet parking was excellent and the valets were curteous . The check-in and check-out desk was excellent with the people being extremely curteous . All in all we would return , requesting a larger room .

Over all a good hotel and casino. There seemed to be some construction or improvements taking place which created some excess noise on the floors in early am but this seemed to be a temproray situation. Check-in was fairly slow but I checked in very late so that might have contibuted to that situation. Casino is large, alot of slot machines. Overall the hotel seemed to be clean, security was present at the entrance to the elevators which seemed to be a good idea for improved security. Overall service seemed to be quite efficient throughout the hotel.

I would recommend other's to stay at this hotel and casino. Can be used for business meetings, simple vacation use or various other reasons. Large enough to get around and see and do many things from gambing to meetings or dining etc. Though not on the ocen as many of the other hotels/casinos in atlantic sity are, there are good views of the marina and present a good visual expereince from the rooms.

Once again I would recommend the hotel for other's, not necessary the best hotel or casino in atlantic city, but a very good stay for the rates charged.

The hotel is a very nice place directly at the marina in Atlantic City. When booking the hotel, I specifically called there to ask if they have a high-speed internet connection in each room. I was assured that yes, there was. Once at the hotel, there were nothing but problems with the internet & I spent several hours with a tech person on the phone to resolve the issue. The problem was never resolved and I even had one tech tell me that this hotel always has problems with the internet connection.

I spoke with the front desk about the internet and they said the internet was working on another floor. They switched my room to another floor.... I had the same problems.

On a lighter note, the asian resturant on the second floor was spectacular. I shared the Peking duck with a friend and really enjoyed it. Also, the Hooters resturant was just as good and staff was very friendly.

Don't let the internet thing deter you. It was excellent value and a great stay.

the hotel rooms have been much improved although the tv was out of wack. The buffet was pretty good with plenty of choices. The staff was awesome, front desk and cleaning staff - very attentive! The casino was ok, not much action, kinda "reserved" and the waitresses where not friendly nor readily available - hard to find! even after tipping 5 bucks for a cup of coffee!!! All in all, was an ok visit, i would go back. I would recommend to family and friends. I'd like to try a saturday night which is really hard to get - Would be a nice try!!!

The hotel is not close to the boardwalk, however, they have a nice "Jitney" bus that can take you to any hotel near the boardwalk and you can walk from there. I really enjoyed the housekeeping staff, instead of disturbing us, we would call them right before we left and by the time we got back our room would be clean. You have to pay for amenities such as the gym and room service is entirely too expensive. Our room was very nice, however, the (12th) floor which we were on smelled horrible. This hotel is mainly for older people, my boyfriend and I enjoyed it even though we are 21 just because of how quiet and peaceful it was, in addition to having such a wonderful view. Oh, and right near the front desk there is a smoking casino area, which is not very good for people with severe asthma like myself and the walls are thin so you can hear people who are loud in the hallway and people in the room next to you if they are loud, such as the young people next to us that were moaning early in the morning right before we were about to check out, those were minor issues that I really did not like. But, overall the hotel is nice if your trying to relax and enjoy all the things that Atlantic City has to offer. Mind you, I'm not very picky, but, I feel as though I should tell you the positive and negative things to help one decide whether or not they should stay at a hotel or not.

When I got to the hotel it was 5:45pm. Now check in was at 4pm. When I got there my room was still not clean. I had to wait and extra 45 minutes. The air in the room did not working. When I checked out I had to wait on a line that was about 20 minutes long. They only had 4 people working the check in and check out counter. I know the hotel is in the middle of change but they could have did a better job.

There was a lot of older people. I went during the week so there wasn't much to do everything was closed pretty early. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Over all the rooms were nice and homey and the hotel was also very clean. The bartending staff was the rudest I have ever met made it kind of uncomfortable. There is not much to do for children. There are a couple of shopping stores but nothing to big. I give it a 4 for relaxing and for entertainment a 2...

Good, staff was friendly, convenient. Short drive to Brigantine beach which was great for day trip. Pool was small and nothing special. Breakfast buffet was good with fair variety. Casino was fine. TV was old style, most modern hotels I stay at have large flat panel TVs. Air conditioning was moderate, was very hot during trip and although I adjusted the temperature, room remained a bit warm. Flow of water from sink and shower was low. Overall experience I would rate as good.

We were told that we had been given a free room upgrade to the top floor. The view was fantastic, but other than that I do not know what was upgraded. The bathroom is very small. The room was very nice but did not have a writing desk or table, it did have a sofa which we did not need. Unfortunately we could clearly hear the people in the adjoining room talking and doors slamming at 12:30 AM and again at 5:30 AM. No secrets there. Made it very hard to sleep.

The only problem was that the room's air conditioning did not work properly, and it was very warm in the room. This prevented us from getting a good night's sleep. We didn't notice the problem until after midnight, and it was too late to do anything about it by that time. We are waiting to see if the hotel will discount the room as a result of this issue, but it remains to be seen. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice and a good price.

We had to change rooms. The first room had wall paper peeling from the wall and was smelling of smoke when we requested a non smoking room. The second room had a mysterious stain on the chair (blood? semen?) Most of the outlets in the hotel/casino were closed and we definitely had to leave the property to enjoy ourselves- Luckily Borgata and Harrah's were close by. We ended up forfeiting our advance payment and leaving a day early as we just didn't feel "at home".

My boyfriend and I stayed here because I had to work in the AC area and the hotel was offering some discounted rates and bonuses. Check in was easy, and although we had to wait on line, it didn't take too long to get to our room. The room itself was what we had a few issues with. We could hear the conversation of the people in the next room even though they were just talking at a normal volume. The shower in the bathroom was also very small and inconveniently designed especially for my bf who happens to be of above average height. The room wasn't "dirty" per se, but the floor and room itself could definitely have used some updating. We ate at one of the restaurants which resembled a diner. The food was decent quality, but our waiter did not order the correct menu items. Also, at the breakfast buffet, they did not offer whole wheat bread which I thought was odd. Our waiter was very nice about it though and did check if they had some in the back. We did not gamble at the Trump Marina; we went to the Borgata instead. Due to the way the road is divided, it was not walkable to make this trip across the street. We had to take the jitney there and a cab ride back was $10. Lastly, on the way home, I spotted a mouse in one of the clothing stores near the parking deck. I stayed at the Trump Plaza last week and was much more pleased with the entire experience. The rooms were nicer and the overall decor seemed more modern and kept up. I would not stay at the Trump Marina during my next visit to AC.

Although we got a great deal ($89 for room, 2 buffet breakfasts & free parking) we probably won't stay here again unless some updating is done.They even upgraded us to a suite which was pretty neat, but it also needed updating. I have a very sensitive nose, & the entire hotel smelled like dampness & cigarette smoke to me.On the good side, they have a small game room which amused our 9 year old & the sun deck across the street is a nice place to hang out for drinks. We stayed here for 1 night then went to the Chairman Towers at the Taj. It's like night & day. The new Towers is a beautiful hotel & very modern & the view is great!! All in all, I probably would rather pay more money & stay at the Taj.
