We enjoyed our stay at the Trump Marina, which is now the Golden Nugget. We noticed some of the renovations that are taking place, but it wasn't an inconvenience in any way. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only issue we had with the room was the temperature control. It didn't seem to regulate the temperature very well. Maintenance was notified and it will be addressed when the rooms are renovated. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is not close to the boardwalk, however, they have a nice "Jitney" bus that can take you to any hotel near the boardwalk and you can walk from there. I really enjoyed the housekeeping staff, instead of disturbing us, we would call them right before we left and by the time we got back our room would be clean. You have to pay for amenities such as the gym and room service is entirely too expensive. Our room was very nice, however, the (12th) floor which we were on smelled horrible. This hotel is mainly for older people, my boyfriend and I enjoyed it even though we are 21 just because of how quiet and peaceful it was, in addition to having such a wonderful view. Oh, and right near the front desk there is a smoking casino area, which is not very good for people with severe asthma like myself and the walls are thin so you can hear people who are loud in the hallway and people in the room next to you if they are loud, such as the young people next to us that were moaning early in the morning right before we were about to check out, those were minor issues that I really did not like. But, overall the hotel is nice if your trying to relax and enjoy all the things that Atlantic City has to offer. Mind you, I'm not very picky, but, I feel as though I should tell you the positive and negative things to help one decide whether or not they should stay at a hotel or not.

When I got to the hotel it was 5:45pm. Now check in was at 4pm. When I got there my room was still not clean. I had to wait and extra 45 minutes. The air in the room did not working. When I checked out I had to wait on a line that was about 20 minutes long. They only had 4 people working the check in and check out counter. I know the hotel is in the middle of change but they could have did a better job.

My wife and I found this hotel to be very clean and nice. Our room had a view of the bay and the downtown area. The hotel is in a very safe and quiet area. The hotel is only a five minute drive to downtown Atlantic City. The staff was very helpful. The Casino is top notch and the on site restaurants are very good. The only draw back was the air condition could have been a little better. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Showing its age. Flashy on surface, second rate on deeper inspection. I will not use it again due to the lack of normal internet access. TV services need upgrading to HD. TV Monitors need replacing with Flat Screen Devices. Staff very helpful and housekeeping is excellent. Main floor corridors noisy and distracting. Too many amenities not available on Sunday and Monday. Good Steak House Restaurant. Buffet fair. Service atrocious. You need more than two cashiers on duty when you set up three grades of service.

Enjoyed the hotel. The only down side was the pool was closed. other than that the staff were extremely nice. You must have a car or another means for transportation because the hotel is about a mile away from the boardwalk. Which is nice if you don't want to be bothered with the boardwalk you can just stay at the hotel and enjoy your day, plus there are 2 hotels close enough to walk or a 2 min drive if you do not want to go to the boardwalk at all. I would stay here again!

I found this hotel to be a very good value for the money. I am very picky about cleanliness and comfortable beds and the amenities which I found this hotel met all my criteria. Also the rooms were very sound proof so I didn't hear any outside noise. I ate every night at the higher end restaurant and the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I have been very happy with the service and the quality of the rooms and facilities.

This hotel is a great place to stay if you just want to get away from everything. Very relaxing and quiet. I would not recommend for young people who are thrill seekers looking for excitement. The crowd is relatively older people who are looking to relax so make sure you know what your looking for before you book. I has a nice outdoor pool though I was unable to use it because of weather conditions. The fitness center was good also. I would definitely stay here again.

The bathrooms were dirty, the check in/check out service was lacking of receptionist, the game room was closed for teens. No indoor pool. We could not get our nails done because the woman who does nails at the salon was out for two days. I really expected more of this hotel the staff was not friendly. If we wanted to know where something was other guest told us. I wished we had of stayed at home in Virginia Beach.

This casino was having a weekday special for about $40 a night. My best friend was visiting at the time and we decided this was a great rate for AC. The casino unfortunately does not have a poker room and we could hear music pretty clearly from the room next door which we didn't mind too much because it was music we liked. The cleaning staff do a great job, I wanted to mention that. Overall, this casino/hotel is decent. Well worth $40 a night!

Very nice room very friendly staff very clean close to other hotels not overly crowded. Wish there were walkways to Harrahs and The Borgata.No traffic in the hotel area easy to get in and out on the Atlantic expressway. Easy parking. Loved the one dollar blackjack easy to find available slot machines. Appreciated the gym and spa area.Plenty of choice for dinning. Would stay there again when I return. Only wish they had a shuttle back and forth to boardwalk

When I entered the hotel it was very easy to locate the check in counter and the procedure was very quick. And they allowed me to checkin hours after the 4 p.m. checkin time. I was in my room within a matter of minutes. The room was clean and I had a wonderful view of the marina, which is what I really wanted. My room was very quiet and my significant other and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would love to come back.

I chose the Trump Marina for it's proximity to the Borgata combined with it's cheap rooms on the weekends. The casino is pretty small and there aren't many table games so it was pretty much just used as a jump off point to sleep and drive over to other casinos.

The room was very spacious and everything was clean so no complaints there. The one big gripe I had was that the casino is filled with these inebriated jersey-shore types on the weekends which I would have loved to avoid but was forced into several less than pleasant exchanges while on the elevators.

I went there with my wife for the honeymoon. It's a nice hotel with good casino. The only problem was the the food. Since they're not much restaurants in hotel that serve vegan food. Nice room and service. Definitely would visit again. I also recommend this to anyone who wants to spend quality time. Please improve the food choices and I see lot of people coming there. Casino is also nice too. Didn't win a lot though.

First stay at the Marina, loved it. The staff were great, we had trouble with our room key for awhile but the staff was very nice, and comp us with meal tickets for our inconvenience. Meals were good and we would definably come back. Loved the beds and pillows. The security staff were very kind and went out of their way to find our keys that we lost at the black jack table. People at casino were very kind, would definitely recommend .
