The Casino was fine. Employees there were very informative and kind. The front desk and concierge were very helpful. The attendants at the front door - valet folks and luggage folks -were very nice, polite and helpful. The room was not what I expected. It was sort of non-descript. Cleanliness is very important to me and the room was dusty when we arrived and never was dusted or swept while we were there. The shops were great and the employees working in them were very attentive and helpful.

Was not happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. Not enough towels provide for the amount of people that were staying in the room. The bathroom needs to be updated can see mold. Directions to get around the casino to hotel stinks. Was very worried about bed bugs since as a whole the hotels are having a problem with them. I made reservations for four, was already charged on my c.c. prior to arriving to destination and one person could not come. I could not get a refund unless I contact the company. That sucks! I couldn't do it at the check in desk. Only reason we stayed there other family members had a free coupon to stay there. Overall it is a ok place to stay.

Ice maker did not work, call to fix, got fixed 2 days later and broke again, didn't receive pillow when asked said they don't have no more receive only one blanket, water did not drain good in sink and shower. Tried the Buffet at Taj Mahal, Caesars, The Quarter and Tropicana. Tropicana buffet was the worst food and the most expensive I don't know why. The show was OK. cleaning ladies did a great job. Like the idea that Hooters is open 'till 1 Am

We stayed in the Tropicana Havanna Tower which is all none smoking (not really). The carpet in our room had numerous cigarette burns, little smoke smell and multiple stains. Woke up numerous times each night due to noise. Could here clearly through walls and door. A lot of cussing and yelling. On our last night the fire alarm went off at 3:00 am and again at 8:00 am. This Hotel was recommended by a friend, but not by me.

I was very disappointed in the Tropicana. When arriving for my friend's birthday, the Tropicana's key machine was down. I realize this was not intentional or controllable, but the staff was not accommodating or friendly to our group. After waiting two hours for our room key, and ruining my friend's birthday, we were not accommodated for our time. The room was clean and nice, I would recommend this hotel again, I was just disappointed in the way business was conducted.

I felt the woman that checked me into the hotel was not very friendly. She seemed annoyed at any questions asked of her. The rooms were comfortable although the bathroom was a bit run-down. The rooms and halls were clean. The layout of the hotel was a bit overwhelming but nice. Location to the beach and boardwalk was excellent. There was more than ample and affordable parking. I would most definitely recommend staying here as my time was most enjoyable.

The hotel is very large. We stayed in the Havana tower and it is a 5 minute walk at least to just about every part of the hotel. The room was very basic,2 beds and a bathroom with a partial view of the ocean.There are only two drawers for clothes which was not enough for three people. There is also a closet for hanging clothes.
The only complaint I have is that for a full day there was left-over room service dishes left in our hallway. It seemed that any employee that walked by would just leave it for the next person to pick up. Housekeeping even cleaned the rooms and left the dishes in the hall.
The location is right on the boardwalk and it was a very easy walk to the other casinos.
It is about a 20 minute walk to the outlet stores.

The access to elevators to the rooms are too far from the casino and restaurants if you are elderly or disabled. I did not see anything there that would keep the young teens busy and occupied during the day. The staff was was pleasant and helpful when you could find them. There are very few floor people working the casino. I saw people sitting for quite some time waiting for a problem on their machine to be fixed. The wait at registration was a little longer than what is comfortable.

The Tropicana was a favorite of ours for many years. The casino was ok but our room was a mess. It felt and looked very dirty. Dust everywhere. Room felt like a storeroom converted to a guestroom. The pool was too small. Not enough chairs unless you like sitting on the roof way in the back with no shade. Bar service was horrible with warm water down drinks. Not a good experience for us. Would have liked more service by the beach as well.

Check in was complicated because the lobby was hard to find and person at the desk was not much help. We needed a map! The Starbucks promotion never worked...front desk said one thing and Starbucks said another. We stayed in the Havana Tower which was not near the pool, Starbucks or easy access to the beach. The room was nothing special...just ordinary. But after walking past the shops hundreds of times for two days we finally found our way.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday. The evening had started off very rough with my check-in experience because the lady at the front desk wasn't very helpful or nice. Then once we got to the room to unpack we decide to go relax in the pool/whirl pool; however, the pool wasn't filled with water so we couldn't use it. Not to mention we had to pay a $10 service fee for the pool/whirl pool and gym access. Overall our stay could have been a lot better!

Normally the rooms are very nice, however, the service for getting the heat to work in the room and to obtain blankets/pillows was sub standard. It took over 24 hours to get the heat fixed in the room after 3 phone calls. It took 2 phone calls to get the extra blankets/pillows. we needed them since there was not any heat in the room. Overall, I enjoy the Tropicana due to the variety of shopping experiences, the IMAX theater and the restaurants plus the casino. This is where I normally stay. They just need to improve their maintenance replies.

I stayed at the Trop numerous times, the stay basically depends on the tower you are in. This time I was in the west tower, which is older. I had no coffee pot in my room, but the other towers do. The decor is cheap looking and boring. However, it's a room to sleep in and that was all I was looking for. The most annoying thing about the hotel is that the check in is out of the way, you have to lug your bags to one side of the casino and then back to the other to go to your room.

I come there for my honeymoon I think you need to update the rooms . The furniture was was kind of old know flat screen tv . When I went to the diamond club office every worker was rude . If you want someone to come you need to work on customer service that a plus. To check out I was staying in 5934 I thought at 9 o'clock the check out booth was open it was not. If you are paying money for a room the business center should be free.

The bed is really the only thing I have to complain about. It was horrible. There was a dip in the middle of the bed and every time we moved we would sink into it and get uncomfortable and have to get ourselves out of the dip. The line was long to check in, but when we finally got up to the desk, the gentleman was very pleasant and made sure where we were going to get to our room. I would stay here again. But I would hope that they change the beds by then.
