Waiting to check in took quite a while they were definitly understaffed in this area. Once we finally got to the counter the person was extremely friendly and helped and accomodated me as well as she could considering the busy holiday weekend. The first room we stayed in was in the south tower and was absolutly gorgeous, with a king bed and a big flat screen tv. The second room which we had to move to in order to get two double beds was in the north tower and no where near as nice as the other. The only problem I have is that after seeing two different rooms I don't understand how you can charge the same price for both the rooms when one was clearly better then the other. Another thing that I liked is that there was an outdoor pool available however I think that it should stay open a little later then 6pm. I mean whats another few hours?!

This is a great hotel with good prices. There are lots of things to do here from shopping, to visiting the spa, or eating at a nice restaurant. Easy access to the boardwalk. The choice in restaurants is very good, from quick take-out to formal dining. The rooftop bar has a great view, but the prices are way too much for a small glass of wine and appetizers. The one downside from some is there is a lot of walking. We spent a good amount of time walking from our room to the casino, to the shops, elevators, etc. If you're not up for a lot of walking, then this may not be the place for you.

I love, love, love this hotel! From the casino floor, to the pool , to the hotel rooms, I enjoyed every minute. I've stayed here a about 5 times now, and have not been disappointed. check in and check out went pretty smooth. The bars and clubs, were pretty hot. We jumped from spot to spot, and each place was blast. the hotel is massive so be prepared to walk from one tower to the next, but even with that...its so worth it! enjoy.

The Tropicana is a great place to stay. It is very new, very modern, and has a great atmosphere. I think it is the closest thing to a Las Vegas like hotel you will find in Atlantic City, just because it is themed with the Cuban influence. It is located towards the end of the boardwalk, but everything is still within reasonable walking distance. The restaurants are good, pricey, but that goes with the territory in Atlantic City. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Its a huge property and I was astonished to see every thing was nicely maintained. Casino was very lucky for me. It was my first time ever in a Casino and I was so happy. I learned the rules very fast due to nice staff. The ambiance was like a big castle. The rooms very clean and cozy. The staff was friendly. I really enjoyed my staff with my family. The location of the hotel was excellent and near to restaurant.

Hotel was wonderful! Very big and lots to do throughout the hotel if you didn't want to gamble such as shopping, movie, lots of resturants. Lots of slots to choose from. Table games were very close to each other and felt cramped together while playing. Waitresses were very quick and efficient when taking your drink orders. However, the bar that was located in the casino by the table games was very expensive. Ordered two drinks, nothing special, and the bill was $19.75. I understand drinks are free while gambling but if you wanted to just sit and talk and have a drink with your husband it was way too expensive to.

My experience at the Tropicana this past weekend was a good one. I stayed at the Havanah Tower and all of my accommodations were made for me (ie non-smoking floor and 2 double beds) and it was VERY clean. The people at the front desk were very nice. The best part of the room was that it was so close to my favorite bars located in the Quarter. Many others were jealous of the location of our room :) Thanks Trop!

The hotel was great. The only thing is that the room was a little cold and there was no individual thermostat. The rooms were nice and so was the view. We didn't have to move our car all weekend and our room was conveniently located near the casino, stores and restaurants, as well as the nightlife! The weather wasn't the best (which is not the hotels fault), but there was still plenty of things to keep us busy! I would definitely stay at The Tropicana again and actually can't wait to go back!

Our room was extraordinary and had a terrific view. It was very clean and outfitted with any necessary sundries. The casino was very clean although the noise level on background music seemed too high.
Staff were polite and all said "hello" or "have a good day" whenever we encountered them. The hotel's location on the board walk was convenient and the weather (although you couldn't predict it) was also terrific.
My wife and I look forward to our next visit in early summer.

This was my first visit at the Tropicana and I must say I really enjoyed myself. I will definitely return again real soon. It was the perfect location for shopping, casino, entertainment etc. I just loved how live and exciting it was in the hotel and the whole experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. Also the security the hotel by the elevators was a plus! This kept unauthorized guest from wandering around the hallways. I would give this hotel an A.

My family and I had a wonderful overnight stay at Tropicana.The service,our room,entertainment,restaurants,and shops are great.I would recommend the Tropicana Hotel to anyone I know seeking a vacation or overnight trip to Atlantic City.I can't wait for the warm weather to return so my children can visit that lovely swimming pool and enjoy the sunshine on the beach and party.Tropicana will satisfy you and you will love and enjoy the stay there.

Check in and out was quick and easy. Employees were very friendly. The room was not as clean as I thought that it should be. There was dust on the ice buckets, no one came to clean the room they only made the bed and put more towels in the bathroom. When waiting for our car no one helped us with our luggage and we had to wait for them to bring over our set of keys, this was a little disturbing.

Great hotel with lots to offer. Bed was very comfortable, but fridge and safe did not work. Nice view of both the city and the ocean from room. Front desk was very helpful and check-in was smooth and quick, but finding the actual check-in lobby was a bit difficult from the parking garage. Had to ask several guests for assistance in finding the hotel lobby at check-in due to minimal amount of signs or directions near hotel self park lot. Great parking rates as well!!

We stayed at the Tropicana. We enjoyed our time at the hotel, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The check in was quick, easy, and friendly. We had a room that over looked the casino VERY NICE. Room service was prompt and very good. We plan on visiting Atlantic City again in the near future, and will be booking the Tropicana again. We had a very positive experience and can not wait to return. A great hotel overall!!

The Tropicana is a fantastic hotel/casino to stay at! It was very cold the day we went and there was no need to leave the hotel/casino with all of the shops, restaurants, and bars in the Tropicana alone (and of course the casino). The room itself was an average hotel room. Very clean and no big problems other than the refrigerator not working and the ice machine on the floor not working. Ordered room service, which was average hotel price, prompt, and delicious.
