Very first time in AC so I didn't really know what to expect. I arrived at around 6pm on a Saturday and the place was very busy with guests gambling, dining or just walking around enjoying the liveliness of it all. The room was very clean and the views of the water were great. I would stay here again if I make reservations sooner so I lock in a better rate. Look forward to another visiting here in the summer!!

We won money in the Casino, so yes, the feeling is positive. The Cuba Libre Restaurant is nostalgic of the lobby and cafe at the Hotel Nacional in Havana, and the RED SQUARE Russian Rest. also offers the ambiance, typical of same stark setting in Miami Beach__Very clever international combination.
We were also relieved to encounter the Market where one can purchase basics, eg: bottled water, plentiful (healthy) snacks, hot and cold.
The ice machine on our 58th floor was no-op, so had to schlepp up/downstairs to collect same.
The air vents blow directly across the bed head areas, causing draft directly onto our heads.
We had to build protective tents with pillows!
Otherwise, "TROPICANA, Si, Siempre Si!"

A great place! Conveniently located close to the hot spots on the Board Walk.

Casino Action was slow for me--I did not win--but lasted a long time on very little cash. The slots seemed to pay out a little higher than my experience elsewhere. I got lucky at the table games for a while. Between the slots and table games, I played all night long.

The Hotel room were great. It was clean with appliances that worked. Maid service was timely and thorough. Fresh sheets were obvious.

I found the restaurant to be standard fare and while not overly exciting, it was good quality food that hit the spot and satisfied my need at the time I needed it.

Wonderful stay. One annoying fact was that the water in the bathroom was running dirty brown for about 10 minutes before we could take a good shower. Entertainment very good. Easy to access shopping and restaurants. The clerks at check in and check out was very pleasant an delightful in assisting with information. I would recommend friends and family to visit this hotel. I would definitely return in the summer to enjoy the boardwalk scenery which was beautiful, but too cold to enjoy in December.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Atlantic City.The shoppes and eateries were very good and the service was excellence,prompt,and reasonable.I am looking forward to our next trip to Atlantic City.We will be inviting other friends and family to join us.I enjoyed the casino the best. My wife and I needed a close to home (we are from the Philadelphia suburbs) get a way weekend, and we chose the Tropicana. Our stay was exciting. The restaurants were great, the shopping was nice and convenient, the comedy show was very entertaining. We stayed in December and the Christmas light show was very well done. The entire Casino was very festive. You could definitely come and stay and never leave the hotel if you didn't want to, you have everything you need at your fingertips!! We would definitely come back again!!

I have yet to have a bad room at the Tropicana. The only issues that I had was hotel check-in took a long time and the elevators in the West tower were near impossible to catch. However, during check-in the staff was very courteous and apologized for the wait. A host or manager was greeting guests that were waiting in line and was doing a good job of keeping people calm.
Every time we needed to ride the elevator in the West tower, we waited at least 5 minutes for it to arrive. During our check-out Saturday morning it took 10 minutes and we stopped on every floor on the way down. Friends of ours in the other tower said they had no such problem. I guess the West tower is older with less elevators. Other than that the stay was great!

We came for an anniversary getaway. The oceanfront room was great for sunrise and sunset. We were surprised we didn't have a coffee maker in our room, since budget motels have them. But, housekeeping brought us one right away. So many places to eat and shop. Loved the valet parking. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the casino, but when we did, the cocktail waitress' were no where to be found. I think for all the things that are included at the hotel, to charge to use the gym is unnecessary... nickel and diming patrons. It certainly isn't like a state of the art Gold's gym or anything....it's 2 little rooms. We chose to walk the boardwalk rather than pay for a treadmill.

My husband and I stayed in the Havanna Towers at the Tropicana. We arrived early and asked if we could check in. Our room was ready and we had no problems. The staff was very friendly. The Quarters were decorated for the holidays and the light show was very cool. We went to the Sounds of the Season Christmas show. The show was outstanding. The singers, dancers and band were very talented. I would recommend seeing this show and staying at the Tropicana.

We wanted a nice getaway,and we sure got it! The Tropicana people on staff were great. Our bellman took our bags to our room with a complete verbal tour of everything from shows to eateries and things to do on the way up! All employees were very nice, no attitudes in this hotel. Clean rooms,friendly service,great casino,and good food, could not ask for more! Will come back to he Tropicana next visit for sure.Thanks for a great time.

I would have to say that I had a pleasant time at the Tropicana. The rate was a little expensive for a Friday night but most definitely reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area. The staff was super friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The best part of the hotel would have to be the Quarter. Its located in the center of everything and has a bunch of bars and restaurants you can go to. I would have to recommend this hotel to younger people looking to have a good time!

Awesome Time Hotel seems to have everything on site. Once you park the car it's all right here at your leisure. I brought three family members up for the first time and all had a great stay.
They kept thanking me over and over again.They wanted me to let you know they especially enjoyed
the tribute show ( yesterday the Beatles ) and also the resturants close by. We even got to see our home team the ravens in one of the sports bars on site in the Quarter.Once again had a great time and we are looking forward to coming back soon

I've always wanted to stay at the Tropicana and I was not disappointed. My fellow travelers could not go so I went alone and had a wonderful time. The location on the boardwalk, and the walking distance between the other hotels was great. Also, the proximity to the local bus station and the fact that Greyhound arrives and departs from the hotel 2 -3 times a day is truly convenient. If you want to get away but not go so far out of town, choose Atlantic City. I will come back soon!
