My companion and I found the hotel a great place to spend our short vacation, having everything needed for an enjoyable experience. Nevertheless we've found some people serving in restaurants didn't match what we expected from Tropicana ... some of them were very impolite when taking the orders ... and here I have to mention the big difference comparing with the service received in the Caesar Hotel's restaurants where from the moment you step into them you feel yourself really welcome.

The Tropicana hotel and casino was very clean and very nice . I would stay at this casino before I stayed at the one in Vegas .This casino was much larger and cleaner than the one in Vegas. The food at the seaside cafe was excellent.I had a pizza that was cooked in a open brick oven and it was awesome.My sister had a open faced turkey sandwich that to was awesome . the room and the casino were top of the line . NO more Vegas, I'm going to Atlantic City to have my fun !!

I haven't been back to Atlantic City in years and my experience this time was very pleasant, I actually went home a winner, which has never happen all the years I use to go to Atlantic City. That's probably why I stayed away so long. The only thing I would say that would be negative (sorry) is that the staff and personnel were not very friendly or personable. The afternoon I was leaving though, I did meet a very helpful and friendly staff member and his name was Len.

My experience was great. The casino was beautiful, there was lots to do and the people were so friendly and helpful. The night life was exciting and there were tons of places to see and things to do. We never had to leave the Casino for anything. All our questions were answered fast and efficiently. All the staff was friendly and gave lots of good tips as to where to go and what to see. I can't wait to go back.

hoping to get some discount on my next trippIhave e mailed before but not received anything att all the hotel ws very good sure come back spent some good day's there. the people are nice the only poblem is the elevator on a trafic day it could take some time to come up !heard some people complaining. as for the rest is fine. hope to receive some free promotion so we can spent some canadian dollars par with the usa byeee

The stay we had at the Tropicana was just wonderful. The people there are very accommodating and friendly. The Atmosphere was fantastic and enjoyable. The casino was grand along with the shopping all in order and inviting. walking around the promenade was very relaxing and fun. The food was fantastic and very versatile. The access to the boardwalk was very convenient and enjoyable. As far as the room is concerned was very clean and freshly updated great view and has all conveniences. Would absolutely come again.

The hotel was very clean. We had a good experience and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The front desk staff was friendly. The price was reasonable for the room. We liked our visit to Atlantic City. It was very easy to make reservations. We were very satisfied with the visit. We enjoyed playing in the casino. This was definitely a relaxing and entertaining time for us. We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would visit again.

The Tropicana is our favorite Casino.The only thing that went wrong was when we were waiting for the Valet to get our car to go home, they could not find the car.We waited about 45 minutes.We were very worried that our car may have been stolen.But it was found,and we were very relieved.I realize things do go wrong.But everything turned out well.Hope to see you again next month.Over all we had a great time.

We loved the tropicana hotel because of the nice service. The rooms were reasonable and they give you the size bed you need ..Also they have a pretty good buffet and restaurants in this casino that we hung out in to watch the sports.We had a good time walking the beach and collecting seashells..It was a very good getaway for us away from the kids...The boardwalk was a very long walk for us but exciting..Thank you all

The hotel was pricey on a Saturday night, as were all the casino hotels. Objectively, the price of $360 is way more than what the room is worth. The beds were uncomfortable, and the amenities were nothing smashing. I have not stayed in other AC hotel casinos to know how they compare. The shopping, eating, and casino were nice, and there is beach access available. The pool is small, but there were plenty of chairs available. Parking was easy and reasonably priced. We stayed only one night, and there was a lot of noise in the hallways of the hotel late at night. We had no major problems, but would have expected to pay $180/night for this room anywhere else.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Tropicana. The hotel itself was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. You didn't even need to leave the hotel for food or entertainment. I definitely plan on returning to this hotel in the future and really see all the sights it has to offer. It was a little hard to navigate through when looking for your wing or room but overall it was absolutely gorgeous. A Plus place.

The hotel is in a very nice location and we enjoyed our visit. The check in service was very quick and all of our information was in the system. We found parking to be an issue up and down the strip and always a charge. Being a guest and using your casino one would expect parking to be provided at no charge. Overall we enjoyed our stay at hotel and we plan on visiting Atlantic City three or four times a year.

The overall stay was average. The night scene would have been dull at best if not for the dozens of bachelorette parties. I had no idea that so many women spent their last night as a single woman in A/C. The energy levels were amazingly high while the drinking tolerance levels were so low. But when one of my guests left their credit cards in the hotel room after checkout, the hotel/casino security team came to the rescue. The cleaning staff immediately contacted management, who then contacted the security team.

Tropicana Casino & Hotel : "Tropicana's Havana Tower has poor A/C, Plumbing" view full review

I was disappointed with the non-functioning thermostat for A/C heating. The set temp had no effect. On A/C or heat, the room was too cold or too hot. The engineers took the next day to come, and fixed it somewhat. The bath tub drain was clogged. It was fixed the next day. The sink drain also was clogged but could not be fixed because of a flaw in the original plumbing. We were given a promotion at the time of check-in, which seemed to have expired when we presented it at the Promotions Booth. No one took responsibility.
