My girlfriend and I decided to go to Atlantic city for the night just to get away. We both got out of work later than expected, so we had to call the front desk to tell them we were going to be later than 10pm, which is a hassle. Once we got to our room, it was clear that no one had been in the room in some time. The room was at least 85 degrees, and had a very stagnant stench. We were put in a handicap room for no reason. Our bed was the worst part about it. The pillows were probably the worst pillow I've ever laid my head on, hospital pillows are more comfortable. The mattress literally felt like a piece of cardboard. I woke up with back pains. I've never had back pains, ever. The fleece blanket was also pretty gross. It was clear that it has seen better days. The casino was great, as always, but I don't think I would get a room there again.

Had a enjoyable weekend. We arrived at 4:00 and were greeted by the friendly, helpful check in staff. We encountered a problem with our key and one of the housekeeping staff took the time to show us the proper way to use the key. She even made us unlock the door while she waited. The room was lovely with an ocean view. We enjoyed the large clean spacious room. The bathroom had plenty of towels and had samples of soap, shampoo etc.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. The casinos were very convenient to get to and the staff were all helpful and courteous. I hadn't been to the Tropicana for years and was very pleased at how much everything has improved. The hotel offered a large and diverse selection of restaurants and shops which also enhanced our stay. We come to Atlantic City often, but have stayed away from the boardwalk for a while now, staying at the marina. After this trip, we'd definitely return to the Tropicana.

I found the personnel at the hotel to be rude and not very friendly (from the people at the front desk, bell boy and valet attendant). The elevators were not working most of the time, with usually 20 or so people waiting in line to get on. I had to wait 25 minutes for one. I wouldn’t mind taking the stairs, but the one time I did there was feces in the stair well and it smelt of urine and vomit. The slots were overpriced compared to other hotels. The floors of the hotel were dirty; people didn't bring drinks while playing any games. Even though the valets were not busy I had to wait 45 minutes to get my car which defeated the purpose of waking up early to avoid the rush. The walls were paper thin and my friends and I were woken up multiple times at 5 am.

The Tropicana was clean, nice shopping area and restaurants. The elevators, however, were very slow and at times did not work. This was very inconvenient. Also, to get to your room you need to present your room key to a security guard who was not very friendly. I feel that for the money one spends on a room here it would be nice to be treated like a guest not an animal. Aside from that the Tropicana was actually a lot of fun and has so much to do while staying there.

My stay this time around was great. I got a great room. All I did was ask. I was given a nice room on the Havana Tower with a great view. The last time I was there I was a little disappointed I didn't specify what I wanted. I got a room with a lousy view it was on a low floor the hotel lights shined right on the windows. Like I said this time it was great. will return soon.

Entered off self-parking garage and found a satellite check-in, which was overwhelmed and under staffed. Finding someone to give directions was difficult to begin and did get better as weekend arrived.Rooms were not up to what I would expect for those rates. Very noisy all night long. Would look at staying here during the week but would think long and hard if weekend stay was option again. Telephone skills at time of booking trip were poor at best, Never felt welcome,were glad you choose the Tropicana was never heard all weekend

First night was good second night was even better had so much fun only think that was wasn't all that great was I wanted to a non smoking room but got a smoking but there rooms are nice and clean. The views for the room I had was breath taking its like the beach was right out side your window, had a little trouble with the shower door it would not close all of the way and then the cigarette smell make sure if you prefer non smoking to make sure you get it.

Hotel was great. Friendly Front Desk Staff as well as great staff throughout hotel. Will def. go again. Casinos were clean, servers were hard working and around through the night. Felt Safe had a view of the beach from my window. Room was clean from bed to bathroom to closets etc. Room came with fridge making it easy to story drinks and left over food. Rate was very low and fare. Front Desk issued us a Starbucks coupon good for two items at the shop.

This was an excellent hotel. The staff was very courteous and polite. I will be staying here again on my next visit. I've also told my family and friends this is the place to stay when come to Atlantic City. This was a beautiful hotel and the casino was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very clean. I really enjoyed my stay here at The Tropicana! It was my 21st birthday party, so my friends and I got 2 adjoining rooms and went to the club called FireWater! It was between that and Providence, but FireWater was a much cheaper cover charge, and ended up being just as fun! Everyone had a really great time there. My only complaint was that the tower we were in, (The West Tower) there was always a wait for the elevator. Otherwise it was a great time!

I like the casino.
But I've stayed in better rooms at motel 6
Not even hot water.
And the room was dirty.
I think they send AC.Com people to the worst rooms. I love the casino itself. It jumps and is full of energy. But my girlfriend and I hated to go back to that dark, depressing, dirty, undersized room. I was shocked because we gambled thousands of dollars. We deserve a much better room than this. Please look into this.

The hotel was great! Very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We met a ton of great people who were also staying at the hotel and it's convenient to other hotels/casinos right on the boardwalk. Easy navigation of where everything is. The view of the boardwalk and beach from our room was amazing. You can't beat the price for the quality that you are getting. Valet was quick when we were checking out. The Quarter is definitely the place to be, it has everything you need in one place. Great selection of bars, club, shops and places to eat. I can't wait to come back!

This was the first time I stayed at the Tropicana. I've played there many times and have eaten at the restaurants but never stayed in the hotel and I'm glad I did. Even though we didn't spend too much time in the room, we were happy with our stay. If we had to change one thing it would be the decor of the room. The bedding was very outdated and the wallpaper was also old. But overall we were treated very well and would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

The Tropicana Hotel itself has a lot of things going on. I actually didn't leave the entire weekend I was there. There's plenty of gambling, entertainment, shopping, and dining all in one place. The room was slightly damaged, but that really didn't affect my visit. There was a painting missing off the wall and a hook missing in the shower. I had a great time and would definitely stay there again. I would definitely recommend this hotel to just about anyone and the price range was better than other hotels I looked at.
