This was a great hotel to stay at. Their was lots of attractions to do alot of shopping, restaurants,bars,beautiful casino and right at the boardwalk. You really don't have to go anywhere else this casino has it all. The out door pool is good in size, lots of chairs and a bar pool side. The indoor pool is heated, and it also has a fitness room. They also have a Imax theater in the hotel which is a great feature for the kids. I enjoyed my stay and definitely will stay again in the future highly recommended.

Overall my experience was satisfying, my only complaint was my room view. I stayed on the sixth floor of the South Tower. Looking out my window I saw the roof of the enclosed pool. The area surrounding, appeared to be a outside deck with raised flower beds that were not maintained and had trash accumulating around them. The Room was Clean and Comfortable, the Employees were Pleasant and Helpful, the Food was Outstanding (Carmines). My only other complaint would be I did not win a Million Dollars, Ha! Ha!

Our stay a the Trop. was delightful We were treated very well and we extended a day because we had more fun than we anticipated. Hotel dealings were very smooth even with extending a day procedures went very smooth. Closeness to stores, beach, and easy access to shows made it a super time. Casino experience for first timers like ourselves was very user friendly even though we were not big winners we still very much enjoyed the experience, and the friendly casino personnel enabled us to enjoy ourselves even though we were 1st timers.

We found the Quarter to be very nice. Lots of good places to eat. But would prefer to have smaller portions and less expensive. The Tropicana is a very confusing place to get around. It is too large. We lost a lot of money at the slots, but that is gambling. It was very crowded and loud. Would we come back? Probably, but would do things a lot different. We would have to bring more money next time. We cut our stay be one day as we were on a limit. Thanks

The hotel was very nice and the rates on the room was very good.The staff there is very polite, professional and helpful.I think the casino is one of the best,your chances of winning there are great.The casino is also located in a great spot,on a nice day you can walk the boardwalk or get a ride in a carriage that run along the boardwalk. I only stood there four days but I did not want to come back. It is worth the money and the drive or bus ride.

This was my first visit to AC for Casino purposes (I'd been there for concerts before, just not gambling). I went with my girlfriend and my best friend and his girlfriend. It turned out to be one of the most fun nights I've had.
The room was very clean, and about what you'd expect for the price (Summer mid-week price of $109). Had the typical amenities, and while the view wasn't great, that wasn't why we were there.
Lastly, the casino was nice--on the small side, but that was fine with us being our first time there. We had a lot of fun, and the staff was very friendly. The Quarter was also a nice place to walk around and check out when we wanted to be out, but not gambling.

When I went on-line to book a room for the July 4th weekend, I didn't realize that all the hotels would raise their rates for that weekend. We paid over a $1000 for two nights and we had no wash clothes, too few towels. The room wasn't worth $1000 for two nights. I will never come to Atlantic City on a holiday weekend again. I have been to Atlantic City before and have never paid that much for a room.

15 of my friends were here for a bachelor party. They put all of us in consecutive rooms which was great. We ate at the Palm which is located in the casino. The service and food that we got at the Palm was top notch. The bars and other restaurants are great and all together in the Quarter. The Quarter is a great place for bachelor parties due to all the different bars in one area. In addition, the Trop is located between many other casinos, so its easy to walk to another casino. I highly recommend the Tropicana!

Finding the parking for the Hotel was slightly confusing and very fast pace moving. The first disappointment was that everything in the stores of the casino had a crazy high price for everything including food. The I-max theater only had two children's movies showing and the clubs weren't all that exciting. I thought the pool and gym area would have been much larger and I was hoping there were a few more places to eat that wouldn't break your wallet. The Boardwalk wasn't as clean and presentable as it used to be and many vendors were rude and barely spoke any English. If you are planning on staying here, make sure you pack plenty of food to take with you because if you spend it here you will find that all your money will go to food.

Overall stay was nice. Check-in was quick. Parking fairly close. Most Tropicana associates were friendly and helpful. Casinos were fun. OK beach view. Room service and house keeping good. Beds were very comfortable. Carpet stained and needed cleaning. Although we did not watch much T.V the was T.V defective. We could hear everything from guests in the adjoining room through connecting door. Poor sound proofing. I think free internet should come with the room. Whats up with a dollar a day charge for a phone I did not use? If I knew I was going to be charged I would have had them take the phone out of the room. That's what I have a cell phone for. Just nickels and dimes, but better in my pocket then theirs. I could have played that on a slot machine or bought half a gallon of gas. Best overall value I could find. I would do it again but not settle for the afore mentioned disappointments I could change. I rate our stay 7.5 out of 10. Thanks

The only problem we encountered was waiting for the elevator on the West Tower. WE had to wait an extremely long time to get an elevator going up and down and when one finally came it was very crowded. So you had to wait again for another elevator. The rooms were nice and clean. The Quarter was awesome. Great atmosphere in the casino. Although the Tropicana is close to the end of the boardwalk when the weather is great the walk along the boardwalk was great.

I visited the Tropicana for my cousin's bachelor party. The room was okay, nothing special. However you will not be bored here. The Quarter section of the hotel offers many selections for shopping, entertainment, dining, and night life. It is also located near the boardwalk and in walking distance of all the other casino's excluding the Borgata. The atmosphere is very nice and you always feel like your outside on the beach. The gym and pool are very nice.
