The only problem we encountered was waiting for the elevator on the West Tower. WE had to wait an extremely long time to get an elevator going up and down and when one finally came it was very crowded. So you had to wait again for another elevator. The rooms were nice and clean. The Quarter was awesome. Great atmosphere in the casino. Although the Tropicana is close to the end of the boardwalk when the weather is great the walk along the boardwalk was great.

I visited the Tropicana for my cousin's bachelor party. The room was okay, nothing special. However you will not be bored here. The Quarter section of the hotel offers many selections for shopping, entertainment, dining, and night life. It is also located near the boardwalk and in walking distance of all the other casino's excluding the Borgata. The atmosphere is very nice and you always feel like your outside on the beach. The gym and pool are very nice.

The room was very comfortable and a good size. The cleaning staff was very efficient and friendly. The access to the boardwalk and the arcade is close and would be good for families with small children. It was also close to Ripleys believe it or not. I found the whole experience to be very satisfying. My only complaint was I felt the buffet could have had more of a selection, especially in the dessert area. There were people with small children who could not find a dessert to satisfy them.

We were very disappointed regarding your hotel on many aspects. There was not a coffee pot available to use for our convenience so he had to walk very far to purchase (very costly) coffee early in the morning (5:30am).

We were disappointed in the restaurants especially your buffet. The $24.95 price was too expensive for the items on the menu. Maybe if the food tasted better, we wouldn't have minded the price as much, but the meat was very dry, & tough, and unless you are a person who uses a lot of gravy to cover up the taste P.F. Changs was another restaurant we tried and were sorely disappointed in that meal as well including the service we were given and had seen given to other diners.

Vending machines on the 35W floor weren't working and the maid said it's been broken for a long time. The vending machines are every third floor.

The elevator (first on the left) would cut your floor out if more than three floors were pressed so we spent quite a few minutes trying to get back down to our floor. Waiting for the elevator on the main floor could take more than 10 minutes quite a few times during the day.

On a plus, I had sprained my right ankle and your facility has a nurse on duty that took my information, wrapped my ankle (showed me as well), gave me ice and motrin for the pain without a charge. It was very unexpected and much appreciated.

Overall, we came to Atlantic City and to the Tropicana to relax, eat and play the tables a little. (you have tons of slot machines and a few tables that you mostly have to wait to get into the blackjack game unless you are a high roller)

Thank you for taking your time asking for our opinions. On an up note, we came home $700 more in our pocket!

This is a good hotel to stay at because of the location and convenience. It wasn't hard to get to off of the highway either. It is near everything (shopping, the beach, the boardwalk, etc). The casino is nice and there are many other things to do inside of it. There are great restaurants and a good comedy club. Check out was quick and easy. Valet Parking is great. I recommend it highly since it costs the same to park your car yourself.

Upon arriving at the Tropicana Hotel desk, we had a long wait checking into the hotel. There were two(2) desk employees, one employee was on the telephone and the other employee was assisting a guest group. One employee was on the telephone for approximately 10-15 minutes. The other employee spent a great deal of time, approximately 15-20 minutes, with the guest group which seem to have a communication problem. The employee that was on the telephone assisted us with the check-in of our room. After checking in the room was located in the south tower which was probably a 5-7 minute walk. After we found the room it was nice and clean. The television could have been upgraded to a flat screen instead of a 20 inch tube type. Other than the delays of checking into the room our stay was great. Thanks!

I stayed at the Tropicana for one night to celebrate my friends 21st birthday. The hotel looks amazing, the Quarter is also very nice. Great restaurants like Carmines and Cuba Libre.

The hotel is in a great location, right on the Boardwalk and beach, its not a great beach but still very nice. The casino is large and has great selection of games. I would definitely go to the Tropicana again.

The only downsides were the pools were very small and overcrowded. Also in order to get to certain parts of the hotel you need to go through the Casino, this means there many underage people wandering around the casino and i didn't see hotel staff checking ID's as much as they should have.

The Tropicana has Ambiance! A lively place reminiscent of the Old style of Havana! I've been to many casinos, but you have the most variety of new games!I simply love the new Wizard of Oz game but you do need more of them! Dinner was a little pricey but worth the money with a wonderful variety!
Your rooms are Spotless and you have the best most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Will definitely be returning!

Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Out stay was quite satisfactory. Room was clean and the hotel amenities were just right. Dinner at the Wellington was outstanding. Choices of dining options were plentiful. It was, disappointing, however, that the Business Center only operates on weekdays...closed on weekends. Business today is conducted all day, every day. These hours may need to be re-thought. Concierge desk was closed when we went for help on Saturday morning, another disappointment. Bell stand staff was not very helpful. Enjoyed casino. On balance, an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was awesome. Everything you could need or want is right at your fingertips. Whatever your desire is--shopping, dining, sightseeing? If you are not a gambler, but your spouse is...don't worry! There are plenty of other things to do. Take a stroll on the boardwalk and relax so you can get ready for the night life. We had reservations at one of the really nice restaurants inside the hotel and followed up with tickets for the comedy show (also located inside hotel). We stayed at the Havana Towers--cannot wait to come back to explore the other hotels!

First time staying at the trop - service at check in helpful and friendly - great choice of food in hotel only problem our view was of the roof and floodlights. Great being able to stay out late and not worry about walking the boardwalk after midnight going back to room.
Will be back again next year and hopefully get a little better view of the area. I am sure if we had asked they would had helped but they did let us check in a hour early.

I had my get away weekend with my husband. We had anniversary and also it was my husband birthday.
The Tropicana Hotel is really nice hotel for any type of vacation.
I had good experience except for one thing, when we came to our room I was really disappointed, I found food in the refrigerator, our room wasn't clean perfectly, and this kind of mistake from hotel might make your vacation less enjoyable. After all I think, Tropicana Hotel is very nice place.
