My husband and I needed a little break and the Tropicana was a great place to stay to achieve that. We had never stayed there and were amazed at all the shops and restaurants available in the hotel alone. We both enjoy the casino and really didn't find any need to go anywhere else on the boardwalk except to go out and enjoy the beach. My husband and I would not hesitate to stay at the Tropicana again, actually if anything, we would love to have a longer stay next time.

The hotel is nice. It has lot's of nice places to eat, a movie theater, lot's of places to shop and easy access to the Boardwalk and the beach. The casino is also nice. There's also several other casino's within walking distance. I personally would not recommend this location to people with small children. I didn't notice too many "kiddie" friendly activities. I was disappointed with the room we stayed in for the amount of money it cost me. I was bringing my Uncle for his 70th birthday and the room was pitiful. The carpets were dirty/stained, only two drawers for clothes, beds were hard, internet didn’t work and the room stunk of I don't know what. I was unhappy with the casino because of the lack of variety of poker games at low to med stakes. I was unhappy enough to check out one day earlier than reserved because of it. I was embarrassed to bring my uncle there. For a $700 weekend hotel stay? I would have thought the room would have been nicer, after all this was the Tropicana Hotel. I chose this hotel for is popularity. I am sorry for the harsh comments, but I am sorry I stayed there.

We had a very nice room. The bed was incredibly soft as well as the pillows. The bedding was sumptuous and looked like new. We had great luck at the slots. I hit two large jackpots which paid for our trip! We both loved the poker room and played some tournaments. very nice hotel but getting a little old (like us)...Staff was friendly and restaurants were clean and food was good. We will definitely return as the price was right.

My stay at Atlantic City was great! The day my sister and I planned to leave for Virginia Beach, we abruptly decided to go to Atlantic City instead because the weather in Virginia Beach was bad. So that night I looked for the cheapest hotel rates in Atlantic City and with Atlanticcity.com, I found the BEST rate available: 1 room, 2 double beds for only $118 including tax! The price was so cheap, the room was excellent and the hotel was awesome! We've been to Atlantic City several times, but this time we had the most fun!

We went to get away from work, kids and everything else and we planned to do all the activities that the Tropicana had to offer. Ironically, the room was so comfortable that we didn't get a chance to take advantage of all of the amenities it had to offer. We loved the ocean view room. The only thing we will do differently next time is stay longer, at least three to four nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel to future guests.

We very much enjoyed our stay. There is nothing quite like being able to enter the elevator and go right down to the casinos and boardwalk. This was the first time we had stayed in a casino instead of out on Black Horse Pike or White Horse Pike. It was definitely worth the money to have the convenience to the boardwalk and the entertainment. The rooms were large but older. They really need to update carpeting, wallpaper, etc. but everything was clean and sufficient for the cost.

My husband and I went to the Tropicana on a last minute romantic getaway. We had a lovely time at the resort. The casino was very attentive to our needs. Shops and restaurants are exceptional. the staff is extremely courteous and well informed. The attractions to your resort are very varied there is something for everybody. The Imax theater was wonderful, the quarter has very good shops and restaurants for all types of cravings . We will be returning soon as we can.

Staying at the Tropicana was absolutely wonderful. We chose it originally because it had an outdoor pool(unlike a lot of the other places), but the pool was not open, and that was the ONLY downfall. The shops and restaurants were great and I loved the fact that this hotel was separated by a nice walking distance from the other casinos which offered a little more relaxation and privacy. The hotel staff was wonderful in meeting all of our needs and they remained friendly throughout our stay

Our two day vacation at the Tropicana Resort Casino was wonderful. We would recommend the Tropicana to anyone.
The beach was fantastic. The boardwalk was a joy to walk. Weather was perfect.
Our room was spacious and clean. The only negative was the ice make on our floor did not work. I would suggest though, anyone staying in the north tower to get above the 8th floor. That way you will have a great view.
The Casino was great fun. All the employees we talked with were fantastic. Dealers and Pit Bosses alike were very willing to help.
Shopping was fun. Restaurants were great. Especially enjoyed the Comedy Club. We are planning our next visit.

I've stayed here before and will stay here again when I travel on business to AC. Good value proposition. The scotch was a little expensive in the lobby bar. The location could be a little better but it all worked out very well. We ate breakfast each day in the buffet and it was very good. I can recommend the Western Omelet and blueberry pancakes. There is a nice bar across the street called the Chelsea and it's a nice place to sit outside and have a beer.

Our stay was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were treated extremely well. The valet was very friendly and helpful, and the staff at guest services was very accommodating. We didn't wait at all to check in, and our room was ready immediately. The room was very clean and the view of the bay was beautiful. We enjoyed the variety of shops at the trop, and also the nearby outlets. Dinner was delicious at the Irish Pub, and the service was excellent. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, and we are anxious to go back as soon as we get a chance!
