The hotel was great! Very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We met a ton of great people who were also staying at the hotel and it's convenient to other hotels/casinos right on the boardwalk. Easy navigation of where everything is. The view of the boardwalk and beach from our room was amazing. You can't beat the price for the quality that you are getting. Valet was quick when we were checking out. The Quarter is definitely the place to be, it has everything you need in one place. Great selection of bars, club, shops and places to eat. I can't wait to come back!

This was the first time I stayed at the Tropicana. I've played there many times and have eaten at the restaurants but never stayed in the hotel and I'm glad I did. Even though we didn't spend too much time in the room, we were happy with our stay. If we had to change one thing it would be the decor of the room. The bedding was very outdated and the wallpaper was also old. But overall we were treated very well and would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

The Tropicana Hotel itself has a lot of things going on. I actually didn't leave the entire weekend I was there. There's plenty of gambling, entertainment, shopping, and dining all in one place. The room was slightly damaged, but that really didn't affect my visit. There was a painting missing off the wall and a hook missing in the shower. I had a great time and would definitely stay there again. I would definitely recommend this hotel to just about anyone and the price range was better than other hotels I looked at.

I've stayed at Tropicana before and I loved it because of the convenient location; however, this past time, I was very unsatisfied with the stay. There weren't any comforters available, and I found an old receipt under the blanket. On top of that disturbance, the toilet was leaking and the sink was clogging up everytime we turned it on. To top it all off, we were locked out of our rooms at 6AM after coming home from club Providence. We had to go down to the lobby because our room keys weren't working. The lady serving us at the lobby was very unhelpful and inconsiderate. I can't say I would never stay at Tropicana again because of my stay prior to this one, but I was very unhappy about the cleanliness and bad service during my most recent stay.

The hotel was very clean and had great amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The quarter is terrific, with lots of shopping opportunities. The casino was clean and spacious. We loved that the Havana tower was completely smoke free. We had a great view from our room. The indoor pool was clean and large. The exercise room was large with a good selection of equipment. The only problem I had was I found it to be rather chilly throughout the resort. Overall, a great experience and we look forward to returning.

When we checked in the person behind the desk was very miserable and unprofessional and took a long time to book us in, even though we had a print out of our confirmation. She took our credit card and recorded the number, and two days later when we called to the front desk for information they stated that they did not have a credit card number for us. Our room was very dirty and dated. The only good thing was the price and the location.

Everything about our room was great, except the bathroom. It was a handicap accessible bathroom, which means the shower was just pouring onto the floor - no bathtub. There were two drains on the floor but the water didn't always go down and there were puddles all over. It was not very comfortable to deal with. Also, our toilet stopped flushing early in the AM and we had to wait an hour for the plumber to come up to fix it.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at
the Tropicana. We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a wonderful time. The only complaints we have about the hotel room was that we stayed on a smoke free floor and other hotel guests smoked on that floor. We could smell the smoke in our room. Also, the linens looked clean but they didn't smell very fresh. Perhaps they could have been washed more thoroughly or those particular sheets and bedding should have been replaced. Other than that we liked the room.

The room I reserved was not available!We were given another room which was very nice.We had a view of some of the Boardwalk,close to the casino and appreciated the Starbucks!We have stayed twice now at the Tropicana and have enjoyed both stays,this one even more so!I love the stores and shopping and Carmines is our favorite restaurant.We will definitely come back and we have recommended the hotel to all our friends.The Tropicana is very worth the stay!

The Casino was fine. Employees there were very informative and kind. The front desk and concierge were very helpful. The attendants at the front door - valet folks and luggage folks -were very nice, polite and helpful. The room was not what I expected. It was sort of non-descript. Cleanliness is very important to me and the room was dusty when we arrived and never was dusted or swept while we were there. The shops were great and the employees working in them were very attentive and helpful.

Was not happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. Not enough towels provide for the amount of people that were staying in the room. The bathroom needs to be updated can see mold. Directions to get around the casino to hotel stinks. Was very worried about bed bugs since as a whole the hotels are having a problem with them. I made reservations for four, was already charged on my c.c. prior to arriving to destination and one person could not come. I could not get a refund unless I contact the company. That sucks! I couldn't do it at the check in desk. Only reason we stayed there other family members had a free coupon to stay there. Overall it is a ok place to stay.

When I initially checked in I was disappointed with the first room we were given. When I went back to the front desk they gave us a better room. Although it was still not the type room we wanted it was a tremendous improvement over the first room which was tiny and had a view of some mechanical equipment. I asked about a suite and was told the hotel used them for comps on the weekend. I would have been willing to pay more for the upgrade but was not offered the opportunity to do so.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was professional and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel on the boardwalk. The casino was easily accessible from the rooms and the staff gave friendly directions each time I got lost. The maid service was timely and efficient and the bell service was surprisingly quick given the size of the hotel. The only issue I had during my stay was the long check in line, however that did not detract from my holiday.

All in all, my stay at the Tropicana was not a negative experience. One issue that needs to be resolved, however, is the check-in/checkout procedure. It took me over an hour to check-in and about 45 minutes to checkout. This is unacceptable and the issue needs to be resolved, as this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I had some friends recommend the Tropicana, but I'm honestly not sure if I will stay there again due to the check-in/checkout process.

Overall, Tropicana is a decent hotel. Parking is abundant as we never had trouble finding one. The only problem is guests are charged a one-time $5 for parking, which should have been free. But my guess is that this is Atlantic City and things are different here. The check-in was fast and easy (thank you, AtlanticCity.com!), although we got an impression that the concierge was not quite friendly. The room was nice, clean and decent in size. The only problem was they didn't seem to thoroughly check and change some of the stuff in the bathroom. For example, the body wash bottle was half-empty when we opened it.
All in all, a pleasant experience as my wife and I had a very nice time during our visit.
