My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and would return to the Trop if time, money and babysitters allowed. One gripe: finding out that the fitness room was a $10-a-visit experience left me disappointed. I have stayed at other hotels and cannot remember being asked to pay to use free weights or machines. The website I used advertised the gym without mentioning this fact, which made me slightly more agitated. Still, my wife and I enjoyed FireWaters, A Dam Good Sports Bar, PF Chang's, and the whole French Quarter-themed area. Service was friendly and helpful, right on up to Hurricane Irene's arrival.

My family stay at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino was great. The Tropicana provides all the elements needed to have a relaxing vacation. Whether your stay be for two or seven days. The casino has many choices for your recreational gambling. Great table games with much excitement at each. Slot machines everywhere and people winning!!!!
Restaurants throughout the Tropicana range from Italian to Wings. You can find anything to satisfy your tastes. Various nightspots are found as well. There is no need to leave the hotel area.

The pools close pretty early.
Would stay there again.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Tropicana. We went shopping at The Walk, not as exciting as I hoped, but it was still great. The rooms are simple, good for the money. Free drinks at the casino. Buffet was way too expensive so we ate at Hooters. The scenery was relaxing, great view from hotel window (Havanna Suite).
Cant wait to go back before summers over.

We had a wonderful time eating at the restaurants and walking around the mall visiting all the shops. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the outside pool area. The pool was very clean We also visited the indoor pool area. We like that the hotel is so close to the beach. Our only objection is that we had to pay for the parking. We feel that as guest it should be free please consider this.

Had to come back 3 times because room was not ready. Handicap room had a beautiful tub but unable to use too difficult to get in. Shower head did not fit back on stand, tub plug did not work, tv remote needs to be replaced, buttons on phone did not work. Starbucks would not accept my card, I checked to see if I could get a coffee and they said I had $8.00 credit and I said I would come back. But they said I used it already. I would never come back with my mom too hard with a wheelchair. Myself, this would be okay.Parking was more than I expected. The info from the booking place was outdated. Had many frustrations but I did have a good time.

I love the Trop. Even though it's only 50 miles from my house, I always feel like I'm on vacation whenever I go. I especially like the Quarter. The lounges are great, the restaurants are great, the shops are interesting and fun, and it's pretty to look at. The hotel and rooms are clean and well-kept. It's easy to check in and out and the service is good and the employees are pleasant. Always a great experience.

Spotlessly clean, view from the room was spectacular! Access to restaurants and shopping is perfect. Several themed casino machines and wonderful staff to bring you beverages while you play. Security always present which made you feel safe.
So much fun! The boardwalk is the icing on the cake for an evening stroll and romantic experience. The beach was immaculate and the dining was amazing.
Absolutely a must for anyone looking for beach, casino, shopping and a beautiful sunset vacation. Wonderful holiday! Most appreciated!

My cousin and I loved the Trop. We will be back next summer. The original reason that I chose the Tropicana was because I got a good deal when I booked on-line. We were especially pleased that the desk clerk accommodated our room location request. The room was beautiful, the location is perfect because it is in the center of the boardwalk, and we were treated well. Since we stayed in the Tropicana, we also gambled in their casino; we were treated well there also. Thanks

We stayed at the Tropicana, in the West Tower. The room had two queen sized beds, which were very comfortable, but, since it is located in the older building, it was not impressive at all. On my next visit, I would like to try the newer section of the building. The stores and shops in the massive lobby were really nice, and, the show we saw was really great. Overall, I would certainly recommend the Tropicana to people who go to Atlantic City.

Just some impression:
- Long latency for "Check in" AND "Check out" (there were just 2 receptionists)
- The woman at the front desk seemed to be bugged/ in a hurry. There was no smile, no "Have a nice stay". She answered my questions but was very short with me.
- The room was cursory cleaned (but fungi in the bathroom, dust in every corner, holes in bed linen)
- The parking staff was really rude (I ask myself why I tip them)
- Whereas the staff of the security agency was very polite and friendly

My Brother (who is a table dealer in Maryland) and I were able to have a great relaxing quality-time get-a-way together while on the beach, in our beautiful room, eating at the many restaurants, laughing our pants off at the Comedy Club and gambling on the massive amounts of slot machines and table games in the casino. We weren't able to win enough to retire, but we sure had fun. We ended up winners in the end after this vacation!

The only complaint about the hotel was that the outdoor pool was to small. That would not stop me from using the hotel again since the rest was just fine. I was very disappointed in the condition of the beach, most Jersey shore beaches are very clean but this one was not. I am sure most people who stay at a casino are not there for the beaches but a clean beach would go along way to get me back. On a whole I would give the trip an A, it would have been an A plus with a larger pool and cleaner beach.

I love this hotel Tropicana. the hotel is very beautiful that is as like Italy. VERY big hotel. I lost the way several time. BUT the guys who were related hotel were so kind and informed me very specific. I love this shopping area b/c there are lots of stores and variety. I used to go to pool. IT was very good where was large and had beautiful scene that was beach sight. I love this hotel. CASINO was also good. It was so fun even if I lost some money. I strongly recommend this hotel Tropicana.

Check-in was cumbersome at best. Long line and no place for others to sit and wait. We had to either drag our bags a mile through the casino and back or make another trip back up to the parking garage to retrieve them.
After two days of gambling we were still charged for parking. There was a charge to use the indoor pool. We felt like we were nicked by over and over again by little stuff. Gambling just isn't like it used to be.

This hotel was great, could not get on to the internet. Other than that, everything was terrific. There was plenty of food to choose from for even the pickiest eaters. The pool was nice, could use a little more shade for people like me who hate the sun. The people who worked there were very helpful and it was nice to be able to go right from the casino, to pool to room and food courts with ease. Terrific, great time can't wait until next year.
