I paid more to stay at this hotel compared to those located in the middle of the boardwalk. I wasted my money and my time. I gambled and ate elsewhere everyday. The pool area was dirty, the room service took over an hour and a half for delivery, the sheets were ripped and dirty, and there were few options for entertainment during the week. Overall the hotel did not cater to the young professional. Also, by booking through this website I did not qualify for the additional cash back bonus offered through my credit card. My suggestion would be to stay elsewhere and book through another site.

We arrival after check in time However the check in line was extremely long. When we was able to get to the front desk, we were only register for one day.We explained to the front desk clerk that our reservation was for two day this took awhile to straigthen out.once this was done we where than give our room key. When we arrived to our room our room was not ready for us to go in. This situation had my husband upset because he wanted to take a nap.So we had to go to the casino for an hour.

The hotel appeared to be quite unfriendly. This property was very expensive compared to comparable or better casino and hotels in Las Vegas. Payment for valet parking as a hotel guest is unreasonable and not in keeping with all other casinos that I've visited domestically as well as internationally. The much tauted "Chairman's tower" was only compatible to average rooms in other casino/hotels that I've visited. The bathroom had only a shower without a bath tub. The casino staff is also very unfriendly. The rewards offerings are quite misleading and add lead little or no value to the visit. The food that we tried was of fair quality at the best. The neighborhood appeared to be very unsafe and looked blighted. The hotel and casino clientele appeared to be quite unsavory in terms of behavior as well as appearance. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing and if the remainder of Atlantic City is similar in nature than I am happy to say that this was my first and last trip there!

Made reservations through AtlanticCity.com and paid stay directly at hotel. Received credit card statement and got charged from both places - each with a different amount! Had no internet connections in room which could not be fixed. Had concern with breathing heavy smoke in air throughout casino even though they had designated smoking areas in casino.

I was excited to be staying at the Taj Mahal and even sucked up the outrageous room price(346) yes that was one night! Check in was good and was fast and easy that was nice, when we got to the room it was like any other room no better then a room at the Hampton Inn. What a let down that was. The best part of the room was that the concert we were attending was at the hotel. I guess that I was expecting a much nicer room for the money I paid.

We stayed at the Taj Mahal because of it's proximity to the beach. The beach was nice but but the flies were relentless so we left. Casino was nice, the lobby was seriously smokey and stale. Gross. No attention to bling in the lobby. Looked like a nice Holiday inn. Location of hotel was too far away from the retail shops further down the strip. Overall very mediocre won't be back, sorry Donald....not your best work. By the way restaurants super expensive !!!!

15 years ago, my husband and I had just got married. We passed by the Taj Mahal and I got attracted by the lights on the outside of the casino but we'd just got married then and had no money to stay at the fancy hotel like that, so my husband had made a promise to me that if we come back again and we will stay here. Well, after all these years he fulfilled the promise to me, but I'm just surprised by it. You have to pay for the internet service and the pool is not very appealing the hot tubs outside is located on the top of the roof area, beside the air conditioners. Not good at all!!! I am very disappointed with it after all these years. For the same amount of money, I would stay in the Borgata or the Harrahs because they are new and you will be attracted by the grand entrance.

The hotel room was out dated. I stayed quite a few years ago and it looks like it's been twenty years since it's been updated. It really needs re-painting outside. The food needs upgrading too. The band in the lounge was the best. The room could have been much better. The TV only had one premium channel (HBO) The television was the newest thing in the room. Stayed in Room 4822.Take a notes on remodeled Tropicana hotel.

I had a great time playing tournament and cash game poker. Tournaments and tables are around taking place around the clock and I could enjoy playing Poker nearly 24h (I also had to sleep some hours). Professional dealers. Very nice personnel. A must to come back. Strongly recommended for people who love Poker and are just amateurs. I just missed that Sit & Gos are not organized. Otherwise my first experience at a casino was just great. The Taj Mahal offered everything from food, coffee, huge swimming pool, parking, etc.

The hotel room was very clean and it was a good size room as well. The rest of the hotel just seemed very old and outdated. The poker room was very unorganized, and I couldn't play what i exactly wanted to play. The restaurant prices where insanely expensive, and the quality you received for the price wasn't exactly worth " the bang for the buck" If I ever go back to Atlantic City, chances are I will never stay at this hotel again.

Taj Mahal was nice. The room had a great view. The room was huge for us all. I thought everything was fixed nice. I just wish the bathroom would have been a little bigger for me since I use a wheelchair and need enough space. Room service was not so good. They never came to tidy up the bed and took so long to bring me up a shower chair. Besides that though, everything else was good. I would rate the hotel an 8.

This hotel was not what we expected. The Trump Plaza was 100% better. We would not stay here again. The room and beds were too small for 4 persons. The casino was not what we expected at all. Too many employees there were not very friendly at the roulette tables, very snippy and rude. Security persons were very helpful. Bell boy was very courteous, friendly, and informative about the hotel. Valet Parking personel friendly and helpful. Room Service was not that great. Person delivering the food was very nice. Trump Plaza Food is much better in taste. I wuold rate that hotel a 5. Better service all the way around at Trump Plaza.

Rooms directions was poor we could not find a restaurant and kept getting sent to other ones and when we got there they were closed when they said they should be open poor service and bathrooms were not clean. I was very surprised I would have liked a little comp in the store. I would have played a lot more but had to go to another hotel for better comps and food . I enjoy the tables and was surprised by the over-all experience of the hotel nothing was easy to get to this was my first time and I was not happy at the Taj.
