What an amazing hotel!! Our room ended up being upgraded to the grande suite! This suite had everything. Several views of the ocean, a jacuzzi, 2 bathrooms, a walk-in shower, flat screens, extremely comfy bed...I could write about the description all day. If you ever get the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, bring a few extra dollars and upgrade to one of these amazing suites. You won't be sorry. On a scale of 1 through 10, I give this hotel a 15!!! Great job Taj Mahal!

Booked a room in Chairman tower through AtlanticCity.com., requesting high floor/ ocean view. When we arrived, we were told that we had a regular room. Luckily we had a confirmation email from Atlantic City.com and after a 20 min wait we received the correct room. (although view looked out at construction site) Hard Rock cafe was really only viable restaurant within Taj. Hard to find restaurants in the casino. Enjoyed people watching on Boardwalk. Be prepared to walk...

This was my first trip to AC and in comparison to Vegas I was very impressed with the hotel as well as the surroundings. It just would not be a trip to Atlantic City without going to the Taj! Really very nice well kept place and with many friendly people. I can only imagine what it must be like on the weekend as my stay was during the week but all in all I was quite content. The beds slept soo good!

I love going to this hotel for a quick getaway! I feel refreshed and ready for the work week ! My boyfriend and I love the rooms, casinos, restaurants, and shopping! The service is great at all times! They were able to accommodate every need at any time, day or night! For my boyfriends birthday, I was able to call customer service at 2 in the morning, after he had fallen asleep to surprise him with breakfast in bed, a birthday cake, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a birthday cake. It was great! He was so surprised and I was so excited! Overall fantastic! I love it here!

Had problem check in because The Taj had not received our reservation. A great Tag employee named Cathy went the extra mile and got us checked in. She then upgraded us to the Chairman's Tower which was really nice. Great time at the sports bar. The bartenders were a group of really nice guys.The entire hotel and casino is very very nice and we would be happy to stay there again.

The staff was polite,the hotel was clean,beautiful,and very big I stayed in the chairman towers on the 85th floor and the view was absolutely breath taking my husband and I are already planning our next trip to the Taj Mahal in a few months, valet parking was great they were nice people that were helpful and attentive to bringing your car to you fast and were very adamant to putting your bags in the car for you....we loved our visit and would definitely recommend it to our friends!!

Stayed here for a inexpensive winter get away with the kids.

Chose this hotel because it had a pool and was on the Boardwalk. Pool was unkempt and a little dirty and the hours weren't great, closed at 7pm.

Shopping was minimal although had lots of fun little eateries for the kids.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Seemed like Trump spent his $100 million dollar renovation on the chandeliers and nothing else.

Nice hotel but don't bring the kids!

The hotel is very nice a beet old and needs some renovation but all to all it is a good deal.
The most disturbing thing is the heavy smell of cigarette smoke in the lower floors. Upstairs it started to fade but still it is something that damage the overall stay in the hotel . As wrote in the questions some decoration should be done to keep up with competition. Although some thing were not right I will be back for sure.

Taj Mahal is a great Hotel. Well worth the stay and I will definitely stay there another time. The Casino is very good with plenty of options to play. There are plenty of restaurant choices - spice road is great. We ate at Sbarro one night at 8 PM. The service in the Hotel is exceptional and that's why both my wife and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The pool is on the 14th floor, well laid out, and very nice.

The new Chairman Tower is beautiful and we were thrilled with all the amenities. We were also very happy to see a security guard posted at the entrance to the elevator tower, but were relatively unhappy with the fact that the elevator tower to the Chairman Tower is quite a distance from the security guard. The hotel shopping area is very nice to stroll through, but it took all of 15 minutes. More stores in a variety of price ranges would benefit all of the hotel guests. The indoor pool area was wonderful and the staff that greeted us was efficient and pleasant. Although we did not use the spa facility (too short a stay), it is something I would consider doing on my next visit. The front desk staff and the bell staff were wonderful -- they made our stay worry-free. Thank You.

Once the hotel found our reservation which took some time our stay was good. Very relaxing. This hotel was clean and friendly. The room could have been cleaned sooner and they could have replaced essentials. I would recommend this as a place to stay for anyone looking to get away for a nice, quiet romantic weekend!!! There were very few children there which was nice since that it was we were trying to have a few days away from! I would like to come back.

Thanks a lot for great holiday. The hotel is perfect clean, staff is very professional and nice.
We enjoyed each area, starting with very beautiful rooms, restaurants,and pool. The design of hotel is very rich, giving impression that you are in East, in India.
We stayed before in Tropicana, Ceasers and Trump Plaza, they are very good. But Taj Mahal is really the best. Now we cannot go any other hotel,just Taj Mahal. And I will advise with pleasure to all my friends to choose Taj Mahal.

I would like to say, Mario of the front desk was really accommodating, by extending our check out time. The room was excellent and would have loved a whirlpool tub for my next venture. We enjoyed the show at Ego, I wish there were more table games in the casino (Let It Ride is my game). The drinks were great, the service was great throughout the casino. All bathrooms were very clean and checking in was a breeze. I will definitely return with my partner and again with my dear friends.

We go to Atlantic City all the time (about 9x a year)and stay at the Taj Mahal about 5x a year and I never want to leave because it's so NICE! The room was spacious,the bed,the most comfortable one I ever slept on. The hotel is huge, there is certainly no shortage of things to do. Pool,restaurants,casino,big gaming area.(WE play the slot Machines)The staff was present and friendly. The room,what a view!!! breathtaking,overlooking the ocean. Can't wait to visit the hotel again. I do recommend this beautiful hotel it's out of this world!!!!

We did not sign up for the Taj's Chairman Tower, but that is where room was. It was beautiful with a breathtaking view. My only complaint is both key cards deactivated and it was not explained on arrival about keeping it away from cell phones, other cards, etc. The walk to the front desk and back was far, especially with bundles and hot coffee in hand! They could of comped us a free drink or something. Excellent Room design.
