The hotel was at a fine location and the rooms were fairly clean. We went in the end of May so the rate was pretty cheap. Can't complain about that. The only issue I had was that I had previously called about their pool and they said everything was good but when we got there, they said it wasn't going to open for another day. Big disappointment for my kids, we got there late afternoon expecting to stay in the pool but our night was wasted and we had to check out by 11 the next morning.

Hotel is good for someone or a family that does not want to spend $400 a night at the casino and does not mind walking to hotel after a long night playing. Location is good right by boardwalk but at night not the best place to be walking back to hotel. Also if your looking for a great pool for the summer this isn't the place but for the money and if your just there to play casino take the $200 you save and put it in the slot machine.

Great mid-week room rates. A very short walk to the beach, casinos and pier shopping .
The only thing I didn't like, was they drafted my checking account for the room at the time of booking through the AC tourist promotion agency...3 months in advance !!
The staff was great, the pool was improved and clean. Rooms are a little "dated" but clean and comfortable. I'll be staying there again next year for our annual week/air show in AC...

The rates are very affordable.the room was nice and clean. the only problem I had was the very strong smell of cigarette smoke that was very noticeable from the first step in the door. Other then the rowdy Irish pub located right next door, the location of the motel was perfect. one block from the beach and a hop ,skip, and a jump from three casinos. The courtesy of the young gentleman running the front desk was ultimately pleasant. I would stay at this motel again.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The hotel was close to good restaurants and the casinos. The hotel was easy to get to. Parking was easy to get as well. As you walk into the hotel, the hotel was clean and staff was ready to help. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was neat and cozy. Most of the things that I need was available in the room or at the front desk. Coffee and pastries was provided for breakfast.

Cheap, basic place near the board walk. If you don't want to spend to much for a night, this place is OK. The location is right, the place it self is old and was updated to today’s standards 30 years ago. I was looking for the right price when I made the reservation. We do not have any coupon for any of the big hotels in town and I did not want to spend $345. - For 1 night!!!! (Just before New Year’s Eve) if you are looking for a place to take a shower and to go to sleep you are safe here.

The hotel was good and very close to everything. the only thing that was a little upseting was the front desk manager wouldn't take my AAA card for an additional discount. I wiuld diffently recommend the hotel . I hopt ot go back and stay a little longer next time with my family. I enjoyrd the view and the location. It was close to the beach and the casinos and the bes part was the boadwalk was just a skip up the ramp. I really enjoyed that and would tel all my freonds about the hotel 8 next time I see them.

I CHOSE THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT WASN'T FAR FROM THE CASINOS AND IT WAS NICE AND MODERATELY PRICED. THEY ALSO SERVED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. THEY SUPPLIED A SMALL REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOMS WHICH I CONSIDERED A PLUS. THERE WAS A POOL HOWEVER MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER AND I DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO USE THE POOL ON THIS PARTICULAR VISIT. I FOUND THE SERVICE TO BE QUITE PLEASANT. CHECKING IN WAS DONE QUICKLY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. ACTUALLY THIS IS MY SECOND TIME AT THIS MOTEL SINCE I HAVE BEEN COMING TO ATLANTIC CITY. I WOULD ALSO SAY IT IS GOOD FOR CHILDREN.

The first room they gave us smelled like cat urine. The did move us to another room. The second room was better but not very clean. We came home covered in bug bites....not a pleasurable stay even if it was only 76 dollars a night! It is convenient to the Boardwalk and is easily accessible to the casinos in the area. The pool is a good size, but it looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in over 2 weeks. I've stayed in Super 8 Hotels before, but this one was a HUGE disappointment.

This Super 8 Motel was nice for my family to stay at while seeing the "Boardwalk" for the first time. We had seen the ocean out of Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina. We did have a small problem getting our room cleaned and fresh towels the second day. Someone finally came and got us what we needed and we were fine! We enjoyed the nice well kept pool and we also loved the fact that we were so close to the ocean!

This was just what we'd hoped to find: less than a block from the boardwalk, proper amenities, and CHEAP. We requested a smoking room for ourselves and a non-smoking room for my partner's parents. We were surprised (and honestly kind of relieved) to find the smoking room to be larger and have nicer furnishings.

The cleaning women were friendly and helpful. However, the front desk clerks were distracted at best. There was a continental breakfast bar that appeared available, but was not provided. Not really a big deal if you stay out until 4 or 5 in the morning gambling.

There were many casinos within walking distance (Taj Mahal, Caeser's, Showboat, etc.) as well as restaurants for every appetite.

If you're a smoker don't forget to buy your cigarettes before you arrive... they sell for $9-$12 on the boardwalk and in the casinos.

This was our first trip to Atlantic City. We are thinking of spending more time there for our 20th anniversary, that is coming up 1/1/10, and we wanted to see what we might like to do while we are there. The Super 8 we stayed at was close to the Trump Taj Mahal and Resorts. These were the two Casinos that my father used to go to when he was alive. I wanted to visit them for him. The room was clean and affordable, good for a night or two if you are not planning on spending a lot of time in the room.

This Hotel was OK but it was just a room to sleep and shower. The room was good for a night or two but if you were going to stay for a week I would not recommend it. It was a non smoking room but it had a stale odor of cigarettes in the room. You pretty much get what you pay for a cheaper price for a cheaper room. It would be ok for a couple of buddies on a gambling venture but if you are taking family I would not recommend it.

The overall service was well. We got our bit of piece and quiet we were looking for during the stay. No one came to bother us and the location was close to the boardwalk. It was a very muggy and damp room and we heard noises during middle of the night. It was probably due to the on going construction and renovation. There was a strange smell when entering room, possibly the air freshener used. The elevator was old and small.

Upon arrival, there was no iron,lotion or mouthwash in the room. The motel was under renovations. We were not told where the ice machine was in case we wanted it. When I inquire about these things, the response was we do not keep them in the room and that they can't tell everything about the property. When the room is rented, they should have the above items in the room. I can say that the room was very cleaned.
