We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodating. The room was nicer than a higher priced room at Caesar's. The service at check-in made the difference because there had been a foul-up in what their reservation showed as our preferences. We got the type of room we wanted because the lady at check-in asked our preferences about things, such as proximity top the elevator versus at the end of the hall, away from possible noise sources. We requested a room nearer the elevator top reduce walking and had no issues with noise. I highly recommend this hotel for their service and friendliness.

The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a good-pressure, hot shower.

Furnishings were new and upscale, but not ultra-luxury.

This was a GREAT VALUE - it was the cheapest casino hotel available, but the room was not a budget room. We even had a refrigerator, although if you didn't happen to open the cabinet under the TV, you wouldn't know it was there!

Plus, I won a whole $20 in the casino!

Only gripe - no free internet.

I really enjoyed our stay at The Showboat. The price was wonderful and I had not problem checking in even though I booked through Atlanticcity.com. The price I was quoted was the price they accepted. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that we had coupons for the buffet (BOGO)free and could not use it because it was closed the day we planned on eating there. We did enjoy the other Blues place where we did eat. The food was excellent. I certainly would stay again.

We had a wonderful time not only in Atlantic City but also touring other coastal towns. The only thing we did not like was that we had to repay to park every time I went back in the garage. Yes I understand that if you are a card holder your parking is free, but since we were from out of state and don't frequent casinos, we do not hold their cards and therefore had to pay each time in. I think if you stay at one of the hotels, the parking should be included.

We enjoyed our stay at the Showboat and had a lot of fun playing in the Casino. The buffet was great and the value was just right. There were a wide variety of slots to play and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to go right into the parking lot and exiting was just as easy. The only thing that we found was because it was at the end of the Boardwalk we did a lot of walking. But it was fun and we didn't mind walking since the weather was beautiful and all the stores were open.

I stayed at Showboat with my sister and girlfriend. We had a nice vacation there, the only thing we were disappointed in there were not many of the restaurants open when we were there. I not sure if it was because the time of year or if they had closed for good.
The rooms were very clean and neat, the beds were very comfortable.
We have stayed at Showboat before and have always enjoyed our stays. We will probably be back in the Spring.

This was a great hotel to stay at.We rented the house of Blues suite and the room was great.the only problem we had was the sub woofer for the surround sound was not working, but they sent a tech out in less than 5 minutes to fix the problem. we ordered room service about 5 am and the food was great and fast.The prices were moderate. The casino was nice and there was shows always going on in the lobby. In all this was a great place to stay and would I would stay again in the future. I recommend the house of blues suite though.

A very nice time, the room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The buffet was great. Huge selection of food, hot and with great presentation. The dealers were fun and entertaining. We were there for our anniversary and would definitely go back again. We received some great coupons when we signed up for our rewards card. We used these coupons for our stay and saved quite a bit of money. We used to stay at the Sands before it was torn down but now we think our hotel of choice will be Showboat!

My mom, brother, and I arrived Tuesday around 2:00 p.m. I had booked 2 rooms, one handicapped for my brother. one regular for us . His was ready , ours wasn't. We didn't care, so we played in the casino for a couple of hours. Everyone was super nice through our whole stay. We come to Atlantic City twice a year and we will be staying at Showboat from now on.

The room was better than expected for the price, and considering some pretty brutal reviews posted. I was not disappointed in my stay. We had a great couple of days and the House of Blues Restaurant and Music Hall were both excellent. The valet did however, steal our GPS out of the glove compartment, so be smart and don't leave it in the car as we did. Room Service was prompt and tasty, and the room attendants were very accommodating. Check in and out was a breeze.

My stay here was not what I would have imagined. It was only better. I had great services, The workers did go that extra mile to make sure that I was very well taken care of. My significant other had a great time, and it was his first time in Atlantic City. He is looking forward coming back and staying here at Showboat. I had a really good stay at the Showboat.
My only dislike was the cigarette smoke smell!!
There were designated areas to smoke which I stayed away from but the smoke traveled throughout the casino! My clothes wreaked if I was in the casino for too long!
But other than that the hotel was great!
Good restaurants, great service, great drinks! Entertainment at all times of night. Right at the end of the boardwalk so we walked back and got to see so much! There were go karts, bumper cars, vendors, Ferris wheel! We really had an awesome time! I will definitely come back!

My friend and I have known each other for 25 years. I chose the Showboat by chance because we wanted to rekindle this relationship. I picked a perfect place. The location was very good because it gave us a chance to walk and talk on the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable.I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. We plan on staying again, but next time I want to stay in the tower with the full ocean view.

I enjoyed my stay at Showboat but except for two things. First I can't wait till the no-smoking ban goes into effect....it was very smokey throughout the whole casino! Second, I was disappointed in the beach at Showboat. There isn't much beach and whatever beach was there, the sand was slanted so it was rather difficult to lay or sit in a chair on a curve! Otherwise, I still enjoy the shows and great food! I would come back again!

We had a great stay with good prices midweek. The beach and boardwalk were nicer than I was expecting. The Showboat staff were all friendly,informative,and we were pleased with all that the hotel had to offer. Although I thought the casino bars were a little pricey, the coupons I received shaved alot off other services and the buffet. If the weekend rate wasn't so high we would have spent more time there, I hope to return next summer.
