We had a great time. You will spend time waiting on line to check in if you are not a diamond customer, but the front desk personnel were very nice and make you feel very welcome. The 6th floor pool was great. The hotel is on the boardwalk and across from the beach. Lots of shopping and great restaurants including a buffet. The casino had plenty of non smoking areas to gamble. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great time.

It absolutely served its purpose. My friend and I went up for the night and had a great time. We used the room to get ready to go out and then came back in and crashed in the wee hours of the morning. Staff and service people were very friendly and got us in right away, considering it was a Thursday night and it wasn't very busy at all. The casino was nice, but a little run-down, however I had a great time and would go again if the price was right.

We stayed here because it looked fun, was in a great location, and had a price that was extremely reasonable. I liked the idea of a cute theme for our Atlantic City extended weekend, and the Showboat is very stylized, glitzy, and a little kitsch. The rooms themselves though are lovely and not theme-y at all. I loved the layout and appointments in the room, from the very comfortable bed, the nice view [even in the standard room we had], the mini-fridge, and such, to the absolutely amazing deep-soaking tub and tiled entry and bath. The only complaint I had was the lack of attention to detail in cleaning, but that could have been just our bad luck.

I enjoyed this hotel very much I found the staff and restaurant workers exceptionally friendly and accommodating. HOWEVER, I did not have my own membership card and asked the hotel if they might comp me a breakfast or dinner since I was staying at their hotel for 2 days and they wouldn't even comp me for a breakfast. Some other hotels INCLUDE breakfast with their stay. I was disappointed in that. I ate at a lovely restaurant and it cost a pretty penny. I would definitely return tho showboat but must admit, I will FIRST check out another hotel for some free extras that they include automatically. Everything else was wonderful..Thank You

The hotel overall was cool, the casino security can get a little annoying but that's everywhere. The hotel staff was very cool, and the rewards discounts were really enjoyable. The main complaint I have is that the drinks served on the casino floor were not strong at ALL, everyone in my party had at least 5-7 and we were barely buzzed. The machines are fun, the atmosphere is good as well. I found the bed covers and pillows to be cheap and really uncomfortable as well. Also, me and two other guests reserved our rooms on Atlanticcity.com, and only one of us got a smoking room. When I arrived I was told they were out, however someone who got there after me got one.

This hotel was beautiful!! The minute you walk in you feel as if your in a whole new world. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean. The bed was the best ever to sleep in. The room service was incredible. The food was good and a great price. The casino was fun. I only wish they had more nickle machines. The hotel staff was very friendly. They helped me find great restaurants to eat at. I can't wait to go back again...

We really enjoyed our stay at Showboat. It was a quick check in/check out. The restaurants are all very good and well run. The casino is nice and we had no problem getting machines or tables to play at. The servers were there when you needed them and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this resort, I've been going there for 20 years and have never been disappointed with the accommodations or service.

Hotel & Casino were very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Had a issue that one of the pillows had what looked like dry blood on it, but there were enough pillow that we just threw it to the side. Biggest issue is the price for internet in the rooms, Had to do some business while I was there and was not used to a hotel without free wifi. It's location is good,especially if you are doing things at the Taj and don't feel like paying double. There is a decent selection of restaurants, but during the week almost all of the close before 10PM or aren't open at all. On the weekends there was only 1 place to eat after 11.

The hotel was OK but I did have issues with the furniture in the room. Some seats at the table in the room had stains on them and also the wallpaper was coming off of the wall near the window. A little disappointed at the view that we had as it looked over the construction site. I don't believe that the hotel was very full and I think that we could have been given a different room facing the boardwalk. In any event the price was great for the stay.

Because of the new construction right next door, I don't think my room should have been described as Ocean View. For that reason, I think it was overpriced and not a good value. My other complaint was that none of the guest services personnel, or at the House of Blues ticket window, seemed to know anything about the events or entertainment at the hotel, let alone surrounding areas. One had never heard of a particular show and another told us (just hours before it in fact started) that it had been the prior weekend. Otherwise very nice.

The directions that you sent me are incorrect. They have you making a left instead of right which in turn takes you down a dead end road in the middle of the drug dealing projects. I mentioned it at the desk but I want to make sure you are aware. A young girl or a group of college kids may have a real issue with going the wrong way.Over all our stay at the hotel was good and the show was very interesting.

Everything was very good and I enjoyed my stay at the Showboat. I was just annoyed at check out when I was told I needed to pay for the second days stay. I had pre payed for my entire(two day) stay and they had no clue. Now, I'm in the process of making phone calls and waiting to talk to supervisors who are very busy, in order to get compensated for their mistake.That's a hassle!

I thought for a older hotel it was very clean and the service was great. We would stay again.The only thing I did not care for was the pool I thought it would be a little bigger than what it was. The restaurants were very good and the people all very friendly. I think that we will try to make it back next year. We would like to try and make it out to the beach so we would stay a little longer. Very nice time.

I was upset about how I called the operator and asked where the gym was and she said it was closed for renovations and when my husband was walking on the second floor we saw the gym and decided to see if we can peek inside and people were working out, and there was no construction anywhere. Then we tried getting internet from the tv with the wireless keyboard they provide and they said we shouldn't use it if we were going to use the internet and put any passwords on. The keyboard didn't work at all and the advertising said it was good for email. And the connection was super slow, we had to use the remote to navigate so we had it canceled right away. Last, there was no spa so we could get a massage. Other than that, the price was right and thank god it was close to other attractions and hotels.

Everything was very nice,we especially liked the pool area it was great,nice plants,we just wished that the life guards would have enforced the rules more. no jumping or diving,or running !the other things that did annoy us were when we checked in the girl didnt listen to me we needed 3 room keys she gave us 2 and walked away,we had to wait 15 min for 3rd key,and the water pressure in the shower sucked,but everything else was great!
