It was a cool place I liked staying there n would again. It was easy to get to the tables n start winning or losing I did both but went home with some money I can't wait till I go back up there for my birthday maybe I will stay at the show boat again it was a very nice place to have fun n chill with the boys n girls n just having an awesome time would want to come back soon I know that.

The hotel room was very nice and clean. The view was so-so, we could see the water, but we weren't beach side. The front desk was very kind and accommodating, we got our room with a king size bed, as requested. Though we did opted not to stay an extra night because of snow, we would have, had it been necessary. The only downside was that the internet was not for free in the hotel. Also, the casino in the hotel was mostly slot machines, not many tables to play. Overall, very nice hotel and would probably stay there again.

The hotel had great and friendly service. The rooms were clean and priced right. It was a great location; it was not the best hotel for younger people but it was close enough to the other casinos and nightclubs to get a taxi to or take a bus to. I would recommend trip to Atlantic city to anyone and if you don't mind taking a bus or taxi I'd recommend this hotel if not I'd recommend another hotel (the Borgata is one of the new I'd recommend to the younger crowd).

The king size bed was very comfortable, an excellent night sleep. The room was clean and neat. The temperature controls worked properly and steadily. The view of the ocean is always a show stopper and adds to a soft light and glass of wine in the moonlight. The 4 elevators were efficient. We would have stayed longer with better rates. Room service was very friendly and assisted your needs as requested. Plenty of restaurants and casino activity without leaving the hotel.

Clean, friendly service. Nice layout, very well kept hotel. Casino is a blast, decent minimums, not too low not to high. A fun time all around. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again. Plus the added benefits of having a Total Rewards card opens up the ability to stay or play at the other hotels in the area with no problems. All staff is wonderful and the hotel has one of the best buffets on the boardwalk at a very good price. not much else you could ask for from a casino experience.

My experience at this hotel was relatively very good. The pool was close for the season. The rewards card did allow us to go from our casino to other casinos using the free transportation provided. We even got some shopping in at the retail outlets using the free bus. Room service was quick, accurate and reasonable. The hotel restaurants were also very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was excellent and cost only ten dollars for three days. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the casino is at the end of the boardwalk. A bit more walking than I would have liked. All in all will most likely visit again.

This was a clean hotel the location was not the best. It is at the very end of the Boardwalk and I like walking but it was not easy to go shopping and visit the other casinos. There was not a lot of choices for food after regular hours. There was construction of a new hotel which our room was directly across from it. Check in person was not very friendly and we were told that we could have checked in at noon. When we were told not to check in until 5 p.m. All in all I would stay there again.

My husband and I came to your hotel to celebrate our anniversary. It started out very nice but ended with a sour note.I caught a casino worker (in my words)looking the other way when a bet was placed on the wheel with the denominations of money on it. The min.bet was 2 dollars and another customer kept putting down only 1 dollar on the bet.I pointed this out to the worker and he just ignored it. My husband and I spent a lot of money in your casino but we won't again.I also felt the worker was rude.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Showboat and had a great time. The room was nice and clean. The staff was always helpful with any questions. We enjoyed the Rewards Card Shuttle to the other Casinos and use this transportation option to shop at the outlet stores and to eat at the restaurants. The only two areas that disappointed us were the price of the restaurants were too steep and we feel the parking should be free for guest at the hotel.

We found the Showboat to be a good value for the money. The room was clean and well-appointed. The service was good. There was no line for our check-in early Saturday evening and it was handled very quickly. We registered for a players card in the Casino and were given a coupon book for free/discount food and drinks in the various restaurants and bars, free play in the Casino, and discounts in the gift shops. We sampled the buffet, as well as several of the other restaurants and found the food enjoyable and the service courteous. The only disappointing things were the fact that the pool was closed after Labor Day, even though the weather was quite warm and that the beach area in front of the hotel was not very clean or maintained.

Overall, the stay was good. The room was nice and the staff was very helpful. The only criticism is that casino is very smokey with relatively poor air circulation so for non-smokers, or people with allergies to smoke, it may not be the most suitable location. Restaurant choice on premises is limited, but food in the Mansion Cafe was very good. The Rewards program is great and affords the opportunity to receive great rebate and comps for your stay. I would stay in the hotel again.

After a few days the room smelled of smoke. My wife and I do not smoke. Management first tried to spray the air. When that didn't work they stated that the only way to eliminate the smoke was to turn the air conditioner on at 60 degrees. They had to provide us with four blankets to stop us from freezing to death. The air conditioner did not eliminate the smoke.
Also, the Canal Street restaurant plays games with you. I was told that my total rewards card would be updated with credits if I supplied it. When I stated that I would go back to the room to get it I was told that it was too late. A few days later I brought the total rewards card with me. Even though I was paying cash for the meal they would not allow me to use the card unless I supplied a drivers license.

I did not realize that the Showboat was at the far end of the boardwalk. My plans, at first, were to stay at the Hilton, but I thought it was too far away from the other casinos. Little did I know. If there was a way to show the time between casino it might help in the decision making on weather to walk or take a jitney.
I did have a problem with the hotel. On Tuesday when we went back to our room, it was never cleaned. I asked one of the cleaning ladies why. But she only said that she did not know because it was not her shift. I did not say anything because it was not that big of a deal.

The hotel room was clean and the king size bed was nice. They could have provided more pillows. Three small pillows for a king size bed sleeping two adults is insufficient. I would definitely stay here again because the rooms are inexpensive and the casino has low priced table games. The only other drawback is it is all the way on one end of the boardwalk, so if you do not like to walk a few miles this place is not for you. Overall the experience was positive.

Was very happy with the attractions and having everything we needed right there in walking distance.
The room was nice,the entertainment was nice,had a really nice time.Was not pleased with the check-in.I had reserved the room way in advance and paid in full,smoking room.At check-in.The person that I had dealt with was very rude and not very understanding,I was basically told I don't know what to tell you. I was told there were no more smoking rooms.When I had told them I reserved one I was told they were a first come first serve basis.I feel that I should have been told that when I had reserved the room ahead of time.I had also reserved a room with a view.Was disappointed with that.I had gotten a room with the valet parking view and the parking garage.The room was very nice.
