We had a nice time. I thought our room could have been a little more modern,but it was clean. My husband and I would definitely stay here again. It would be nice if the hotel had an indoor pool for people staying in the winter. We loved the bathroom, because it was very clean, which is the first thing I look for when staying at a hotel. The bed was also very comfortable. Again we had a nice time and would love to return.

Hotel was pleasant. Not very exciting unfortunately but my time of leisure was during off peak hours and winter break. The casino was nice, not the nicest I've been to but nice nonetheless. It could use a renovation though as some of the table games and machines seemed out-dated. The staff was friendly and room was clean. Price was good too. I did win at the other casinos on the boardwalk but lost at the one here though! >=O but hey, that's the game.

It was a cool place I liked staying there n would again. It was easy to get to the tables n start winning or losing I did both but went home with some money I can't wait till I go back up there for my birthday maybe I will stay at the show boat again it was a very nice place to have fun n chill with the boys n girls n just having an awesome time would want to come back soon I know that.

Love this hotel.Nice people and environment. Cleaning people was very pleasant and nice. The food was great, casinos excellent. Clean and great view. I would stay here again. Able to sleep well in room which was clean before arriving. The people who work at this casino was very helpful and fun to talk to. Nice that it has Mardi gra entertainment which I am well familiar with living in the South for so many years. Once again the hotel was great

We enjoyed our stay at the Showboat. The parking garage was a very short walk to the front desk check-in area. The front desk woman was polite. Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a leisurely nap, as many couples with young children would enjoy on their first weekend getaway in a long time!! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel room was very quiet...no loud noises or excitable people shouting or making any noises in the hallway! The room service staff was very respectful of the privacy sign! We were able to sleep until very late in the afternoon without disruption and gamble late into the night! We came home and shared our positive experience with family and friends! We would definitely stay at the ShowBoat again!

There is no border between the smoking and non-smoking sections in the casino. While my boyfriend and I walked around, all of a sudden we would be surrounded by smokers. I am asthmatic so this was extremely bothersome to me.

The room was clean, but the sheets on the bed were thin and torn in several spots. The pillows were very feathery and uncomfortable.

Being the Showboat was at the end of the boardwalk, it was not really feasible to walk to other casinos in the cold weather.

Hotel was very nice. The one thing that was not great was places to eat. Everything closed down way to early and restaurants were closed. It would have been nice if Starbucks stayed opened past 10:00pm and Auntie Annie pretzels. The staff for the most part was friendly. I would like to have seen more black jack tables opened with maybe some $5.00 tables. I am not a slot player, but did play slots and I won. Very happy to leave a winner!

A friend and I chose this hotel because we were attending a concert at the House of Blues within the hotel itself. It was convenient for this reason. The room was clean. The bathroom was big and clean. Friendly lobby staff. Would have preferred FREE wireless internet as most hotels offer this. I had my laptop with me but when I saw I had to pay for internet I decided not to use it. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel room was very nice and clean. The view was so-so, we could see the water, but we weren't beach side. The front desk was very kind and accommodating, we got our room with a king size bed, as requested. Though we did opted not to stay an extra night because of snow, we would have, had it been necessary. The only downside was that the internet was not for free in the hotel. Also, the casino in the hotel was mostly slot machines, not many tables to play. Overall, very nice hotel and would probably stay there again.

I was very please with Showboat.Very attentive staff and helpful. Responds well to uncomfortable situations. Rooms are clean and and well put together.I was very impress with their layout. Enough staff too ask questions and they makes you feel at home and in familiarize atmosphere. I can't say enough of the good service. It is well lit on the hall walls as well as the social areas. Ramps for handicaps are at easy access and staff are ready to assist elderlies readily.

The hotel had great and friendly service. The rooms were clean and priced right. It was a great location; it was not the best hotel for younger people but it was close enough to the other casinos and nightclubs to get a taxi to or take a bus to. I would recommend trip to Atlantic city to anyone and if you don't mind taking a bus or taxi I'd recommend this hotel if not I'd recommend another hotel (the Borgata is one of the new I'd recommend to the younger crowd).

The room was very comfortable and clean. I really liked the bedspread being a washable quilt, yet you had a small coverlet which gave the impression that you were in a nice hotel. The view from the window was not the greatest (Room 5-62), but it was really cold and overcast, so it did not matter. I liked the television being in a closed cabinet. The bathroom area was lovely, but I was surprised that there was no ventilation in the bathroom.

We stay at the Showboat yearly for a convention and usually it is perfect for our needs, nothing fancy, but just what we need. We walked into our room this time and realized that it smelled like cigarettes, which ok, I'm a smoker and this was supposed to be a non smoking room due to my husband and brother do not smoke but it was stale cigs all the way. This didn't offend us enough to go through the trouble of changing rooms, we got over it. the next morning when we got up, I took a towel from the rack and the whole thing including some of the drywall and nails came with it and landed on my toe. I was so mad, then the hairdryer didn't work, i called the front desk at 615am and told them about both situations. they said "You should've told us, we would have switched your room", well, Showboat, how would I have noticed this late last night when we got here! They said they would send maintenance up right away, they never came, we left before they did, anyway. When we got back to the room, we did notice the new hairdryer but saw that the wall was rigged up again with the drywall and towel rack...what a joke. we just left it out of the wall. we checked out via the t.v. We will not stay there next year. Yes, because of that. It was annoying and inconvenient and it should not be that way when you pay almost $60 a night in the winter time. UGGH!

We had a wonderful time at the Showboat hotel/casino. Your staff and employees were very friendly and helpful. We have visited the casino before but this was our first time staying in the hotel and we loved it! We only stayed the weekend but we spent alot of time in the casino and enjoyed every minute we spent there! Shopping was great and we loved Starbucks in the morning for breakfast!We very much look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

The king size bed was very comfortable, an excellent night sleep. The room was clean and neat. The temperature controls worked properly and steadily. The view of the ocean is always a show stopper and adds to a soft light and glass of wine in the moonlight. The 4 elevators were efficient. We would have stayed longer with better rates. Room service was very friendly and assisted your needs as requested. Plenty of restaurants and casino activity without leaving the hotel.
