The place was nice, but kinda smelled in the hall ways also room was not that clean, or dusted . The people were very helpful. The food was good, the casinos clean. I would of liked the room to have been a little cleaner there were no exhaust fans in bathroom and no tissues any where. But I think I might stay again, this time with kids. thank you. That's all I have to to say about our stay in Atlantic city.

This hotel was great. I really enjoyed my stay. I left there and went to a different part of NJ and was spoiled by the accommodations at Showboat to what I had booked in Wildwood. I would definitely go back. I read the reviews on line and must honestly say, I cannot agree with any of them. We had no problem checking in and the room was very spacious and clean. The Ice Bar in the lobby was a great hangout and the free show that they perform in the main lobby was great.

There was no soap, shampoo or hand towels when we checked in our room. We had to ask a housekeeper who was working down the hall. The shower hardly had any pressure the nozzle was not in good condition...and there was NO hot water on the morning of 7/31. I have been at this hotel before and the service was MUCH better and the rooms were in MUCH better condition. At check out, we expressed our disappointment and the FD associate did not show any empathy...she really didn't even comment.

Not sure I would stay here again.

I was very pleased with the Showboat. It was my first time in Atlantic City and it was a great place to stay. The only thing that was a slight annoyance was the advertising for the 24/7 Mardi Gras. It was not specific. And also customer service did not know what specials were going on it the bars/restaurants. Despite those few things I really enjoyed my stay at the Showboat. It is right on the boardwalk and you can walk out the back and be on the beach!

The room was very clean. Had to change out the iron which did not work. Noticed outside the door on Sunday night a mouse playing around the door. I did not let the hotel know when I checked out because other customers were around the counter. Other than that the stay was very nice. The casino was very good and active. The people at the rewards counter was very nice when I had to replace my card. Check in was fast and the person at the counter was very friendly.

Everything was very clean. The room service was quick. All workers of the hotel were able to assist with everything. There were several times we needed extra towels, pillows, etc. and the wait time on receiving them was less than five minutes. The hotel staff was very kind and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay at the Showboat very much. We already talked about coming back again very soon. I would absolutely suggest this hotel to my friends, family and co-workers.

The casino was very well lit and bright. The hotel was also very cheery and bright as compared to other hotels/casinos. There aren't many choices for casual and inexpensive dining. The pool water seemed to be a bit cloudy and not enough shady spots. The rooms well a nice size and well kept. The were up to date and not run down. The were a few bars to choose from, however none were of the lounge type. There was no place in the hotel that you can just sit back and lounge around.

The hotel was great, the room was nice and spacious. I enjoyed everything about this hotel and would love to stay there again....the location was perfect and the view was great....the one thing that I liked about it was that they had a show/carnival everyday, it was good for adults and small children....it was very entertaining to see them put on this show

Our group really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was wonderful. Pool was a big disappointment. Location of pool was great but pool size and area was not great. Otherwise we had a great 4 days and really enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel was clean and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

The casinos were great. We ordered flowers for our daughters who were having a birthday and they were wonderful.

I would definitely stay again in the future.

From check in to check this hotel was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had, and even making really great suggestions as to where to go for different things. The casino floor was hopping with people, but it didn't stop the the cocktail wait staff from making sure I was taken care of. There was plenty of gambling areas for all people regardless of how much they were willing to wager. I visited several casinos during my stay and the Showboat by far had the most diversity in terms of table minimums. Everything was clean and fresh and the house keepers were great too. I'll be going back next year, and already know that is where I'll be staying.

Would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Really enjoyed the new show that was put on 3 times a day. The appearance was very clean. the staff was very helpful and was willing to help in any way they could... if the could not help they would find someone that was able to help in the direction we needed to be. Bathrooms was always very well maintained. also the air condition was working to full capacity not like some other hotels.

Room was very nice and clean. King size bed very comfortable. Nice size bathroom. If you bring kids, I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. Vending machines are pricey for late night munchies. Avoid weekend stay. Weekday rooms are cheaper. Overall, very, very good visit, front desk very helpful. We would stay at the same location again. Short visit, thoroughly enjoyed !
Did not have time to visit the pool. Casino staff, most were fun and helpful during games.

The hotel is a little worn for the wear but nothing terrible. We had to ask for extra towels, there were four of us in the room and only two were left, they provided them quickly, but when the maid came in and cleaned the room and left clean towels for the next day... again only two were left.. you would have thought that since she was taking away four that she would have left as many. Again asked and they quickly responded. An iron was in the room but no ironing board. Clean room , beds and bathroom. Ate in the hotel for all meals, and could not complain about either the food, service or the price. Enjoyed that we were on the end of the boardwalk and not in the middle of all the action and rifraf. Would stay here again.

Overall we had a very good time at this hotel, even though the staff at check in were not very friendly. We had requested a smoking room with an ocean view based on the description on the website, but when we arrived we were told we had to look to the right out our window to see the ocean, they had no rooms with a direct ocean view. Also, we did not get a smoking room as they said none were available. Other than that, the rest of the staff were very helpful and the casino was a lot of fun.

The hotel was great, the room was better than we expected with a view of the water. Checked us in a little early and we were so tired from the long drive. No push to upgrade like we had read from others, just a great smile and welcome from the front desk. Everything was clean and we laughed at the thought of having Mardi Gras without having to "do" some of the Mardi Gras things. The casino was very fun and we met several people who were there just to enjoy themselves. The hotel was the last casino on the boardwalk so we did end up paying a few cart wheeling people to rescue us when we were tired.
