The hotel room was nice, although I paid a lot because it was a holiday weekend. We saw a concert in the House of Blues so having a room at Showboat was quite convenient.The casino at Showboat is great too. I play roulette and at other casinos there never seems to be enough tables open at a reasonable minimum. I have played in the Showboat casino several times and even on a busy Saturday night at peak times, I haven't had to search or wait too long to get on a roulette table. Overall a great experience. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom and the size of the bathtub!

We found two used syringes under the bed of one of the rooms we rented room 1672 and used tissue under the bed of the other room 1676. When I asked one on the cleaning staff to clean under the mattress, was advised that she had to contact her supervisor who she was unable to contact, had to go down to front desk for assistance ant the other one complained that she was not strong enough to lift the mattress, I had to do it. Obviously, the cleaning staff leaves lots to desire. Will not recommend anyone else staying at this hotel.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Showboat. We stayed there primarily for the cost deal we got for the room. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. The hotel itself offered many restaurant choices and especially variety. The casino is large and has all the variety of slots one needs to enjoy the gambling experience. I was disappointed that the least amount of betting was ten dollars at the blackjack tables. Considering the economy I expected to find five dollar and even one dollar tables.

I only stayed one night. The room was fine. I'm not a big gambler, but I played Blackjack and found enough tables to play. The one disappointment, which is true in all the casinos, is the slot machines today. We miss the pulling of the "One Arm" and the sound of the coins. Pushing a button and getting a piece of paper just doesn't give the rush that the casinos used to.

The ambiance at the Showboat was fine, and the ocean view and the boardwalk was enjoyable.

I liked the Showboat Hotel.It was our first experience staying at A casino hotel.We liked the low rate midweek and the service was very good.All employees we encountered were cheerful and eager to please.We didn't spend alot of money in the casino,but we did enjoy wandering and watching all the activity.The Show at the Showboat was awesome,it definitely added to the allure. We watched it as many times as we could.The only bad comment I would make would have to be the mildew smell we encountered in the walkway to our car at the self-park garage. We parked on the 9th level and the smell was very strong in the area as you got on and off the elevator.Other than that everything was very enjoyable. Would we stay again most definitely yes.

Unlike the negative remarks posted earlier from other travelers, I found the hotel to be very clean. We had an oceanview room staying in the Bourbon Tower, which is for smokers. Staff was amazing, very courteous, accommodating and very prompt when called upon, especially upon arrival & check-in. We were assisted by Taria, who was very, very nice, thorough in her explanations & provided all the necessary information to make our stay perfect! Always stayed at the Showboat and after not coming down to Atlantic City for about 5 years decided to start going back. Of course our choice of Casinos and Hotels was the Showboat. They have good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Easy to get to from the Garden State Parkway. Also there are two (and maybe 3 in the near future) casinos that are within walking distance to the Showboat on the boardwalk or from an internal walk through from one to the other.

We were very pleased with the hotel and its employees. The room was very nice and clean. If I had a negative comment it would be it was not close to too many other hotel/casinos. However this was offset by being so close to the boardwalk. We decided to stay in Atlantic City for an extra day and because the hotel was full, we had to move on, so that was our only real disappointment. There was also a very nice buffet.

This hotel was the perfect choice for a mini vacation/romantic getaway. Great for young couple spending their first night at Atlantic City. The room was large and clean, and the view from the window was great. The bathroom area was amazing and well set up, and the shower was relaxing. We even got coffee packets in our room - convenient in the morning! The huge comfortable bed made for a completely restful sleep, and the TV checkout made for a convenient and fast way to check out the following morning, without having to the checkout desk before noon. I would stay here again!

My fiancee and I had a wonderful time at the ShowBoat hotel. The rooms were clean and stocked with toiletries. The hotel as a whole was clean and quiet. The front desk/check-in was fast and everyone seemed very polite. Any problem I had it was resolved in a timely fashion. The casinos have more of a variety of slot machines than some of the other casinos. I enjoyed the entertainment and costumes. I would recommend everyone to stay there.

The place was nice, but kinda smelled in the hall ways also room was not that clean, or dusted . The people were very helpful. The food was good, the casinos clean. I would of liked the room to have been a little cleaner there were no exhaust fans in bathroom and no tissues any where. But I think I might stay again, this time with kids. thank you. This hotel was great. I really enjoyed my stay. I left there and went to a different part of NJ and was spoiled by the accommodations at Showboat to what I had booked in Wildwood. I would definitely go back. I read the reviews on line and must honestly say, I cannot agree with any of them. We had no problem checking in and the room was very spacious and clean. The Ice Bar in the lobby was a great hangout and the free show that they perform in the main lobby was great.

There was no soap, shampoo or hand towels when we checked in our room. We had to ask a housekeeper who was working down the hall. The shower hardly had any pressure the nozzle was not in good condition...and there was NO hot water on the morning of 7/31. I have been at this hotel before and the service was MUCH better and the rooms were in MUCH better condition. At check out, we expressed our disappointment and the FD associate did not show any empathy...she really didn't even comment.

Not sure I would stay here again.

I was very pleased with the Showboat. It was my first time in Atlantic City and it was a great place to stay. The only thing that was a slight annoyance was the advertising for the 24/7 Mardi Gras. It was not specific. And also customer service did not know what specials were going on it the bars/restaurants. Despite those few things I really enjoyed my stay at the Showboat. It is right on the boardwalk and you can walk out the back and be on the beach!

The room was very clean. Had to change out the iron which did not work. Noticed outside the door on Sunday night a mouse playing around the door. I did not let the hotel know when I checked out because other customers were around the counter. Other than that the stay was very nice. The casino was very good and active. The people at the rewards counter was very nice when I had to replace my card. Check in was fast and the person at the counter was very friendly.
