Clean, friendly service. Nice layout, very well kept hotel. Casino is a blast, decent minimums, not too low not to high. A fun time all around. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again. Plus the added benefits of having a Total Rewards card opens up the ability to stay or play at the other hotels in the area with no problems. All staff is wonderful and the hotel has one of the best buffets on the boardwalk at a very good price. not much else you could ask for from a casino experience.

My experience at this hotel was relatively very good. The pool was close for the season. The rewards card did allow us to go from our casino to other casinos using the free transportation provided. We even got some shopping in at the retail outlets using the free bus. Room service was quick, accurate and reasonable. The hotel restaurants were also very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was excellent and cost only ten dollars for three days. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the casino is at the end of the boardwalk. A bit more walking than I would have liked. All in all will most likely visit again.

The room was great, people were friendly, all around it was a great experience. We went to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and we had the best time. We stayed in the House of Blues suite and it was so nice. The decor was amazing and we loved that there were 2 bathrooms!! In the room there was a huge plasma screen with surround sound with Sirius radio. The sound was amazing!! We also enjoyed the big open main bathroom with 2 sinks and separate rooms for the shower and bathroom.

We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodating. The room was nicer than a higher priced room at Caesar's. The service at check-in made the difference because there had been a foul-up in what their reservation showed as our preferences. We got the type of room we wanted because the lady at check-in asked our preferences about things, such as proximity top the elevator versus at the end of the hall, away from possible noise sources. We requested a room nearer the elevator top reduce walking and had no issues with noise. I highly recommend this hotel for their service and friendliness.

The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a good-pressure, hot shower.

Furnishings were new and upscale, but not ultra-luxury.

This was a GREAT VALUE - it was the cheapest casino hotel available, but the room was not a budget room. We even had a refrigerator, although if you didn't happen to open the cabinet under the TV, you wouldn't know it was there!

Plus, I won a whole $20 in the casino!

Only gripe - no free internet.

The Showboat was a relatively inexpensive place to stay. The casino was ok, and the poker room had action. Breakfast was good at the Mansion Cafe, and the buffet was good too. The rooms at the Orleans Tower were ok, but too far from the main casino floor. The video screen roulette was fantastic. The check in and check out was a breeze. The staff was polite, personable, and very friendly. Not too sure all of my play was tracked. I played a lot, and am not sure I received credit for all of my play. Over all, I would say it's an ok place to stay especially if you plan on visiting other casinos, and going out to other venues.

I really enjoyed our stay at The Showboat. The price was wonderful and I had not problem checking in even though I booked through Atlanticcity.com. The price I was quoted was the price they accepted. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that we had coupons for the buffet (BOGO)free and could not use it because it was closed the day we planned on eating there. We did enjoy the other Blues place where we did eat. The food was excellent. I certainly would stay again.

I had spent thousands of dollars while there and got absolutely NO compensation. They wouldn't even make rsvp for a show at another hotel for me and my family. There was no entertainment at the casino and no information pertaining to events, specials, shuttle services between casinos, etc. The room was clean, however no attention to detail. An example, I had to call housekeeping because there was no coffee or cups in the room. When he arrived, the person knocked, handed me a bag and left without saying a word. I felt like a third class visitor and would probably not return again. Very disappointed with the way we were treated.

I went there with a co-worker and our 3 men who have mental disabilities. During check in our clerk was very courteous. We all felt very comfortable and not "out of place" as we have at other hotels. It made our clients feel very "normal" to be out in the public enjoying life just as others do everyday. Even though the men were in wheelchairs we were able to access every area in the hotel along with the casino. We would definitely take them there on vacation again.

This was a clean hotel the location was not the best. It is at the very end of the Boardwalk and I like walking but it was not easy to go shopping and visit the other casinos. There was not a lot of choices for food after regular hours. There was construction of a new hotel which our room was directly across from it. Check in person was not very friendly and we were told that we could have checked in at noon. When we were told not to check in until 5 p.m. All in all I would stay there again.

My husband and I came to your hotel to celebrate our anniversary. It started out very nice but ended with a sour note.I caught a casino worker (in my words)looking the other way when a bet was placed on the wheel with the denominations of money on it. The min.bet was 2 dollars and another customer kept putting down only 1 dollar on the bet.I pointed this out to the worker and he just ignored it. My husband and I spent a lot of money in your casino but we won't again.I also felt the worker was rude.

We had a wonderful time not only in Atlantic City but also touring other coastal towns. The only thing we did not like was that we had to repay to park every time I went back in the garage. Yes I understand that if you are a card holder your parking is free, but since we were from out of state and don't frequent casinos, we do not hold their cards and therefore had to pay each time in. I think if you stay at one of the hotels, the parking should be included.

I do have a few things that I did want to mention as far as being dissatisfied with.
I came Sunday thru Wednesday and unfortunately a lot of the restaurants there were not open during those days (House of Blues mostly). Also, the indoor pool was not opened!Said it was "closed for the season"! Would this time of year be the season it should be opened?
The rooms were very nice and clean but the beds were some of the most uncomfortable beds I ever slept on in a hotel. I did change rooms once but the new room's bed was not much better.
I stayed at the Showboat because of the House of Blues which I was kinda disappointed with. The music playing was not even blues! I am a blues singer and really was hoping for a more bluesy feel to the place, but the restaurant wasn't even opened on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday!
I would come back to Atlantic City but don't think I'd stay at the same hotel again. The price was great but my back paid a bigger price because of the bed.Being in pain took a lot of the fun out of the trip for me.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Showboat and had a great time. The room was nice and clean. The staff was always helpful with any questions. We enjoyed the Rewards Card Shuttle to the other Casinos and use this transportation option to shop at the outlet stores and to eat at the restaurants. The only two areas that disappointed us were the price of the restaurants were too steep and we feel the parking should be free for guest at the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Showboat and had a lot of fun playing in the Casino. The buffet was great and the value was just right. There were a wide variety of slots to play and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to go right into the parking lot and exiting was just as easy. The only thing that we found was because it was at the end of the Boardwalk we did a lot of walking. But it was fun and we didn't mind walking since the weather was beautiful and all the stores were open.
