Was there to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. The weather was nice and for the first time I was able to enjoy other activities that Atlantic City has to offer. My hotel room was nice and clean. However, I was a bit disappointed that the House of Blues Restaurant was not open (was there Sun-Wed), I wanted to have my birthday dinner there. I did enjoy Johnny Rockets as always though. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Overall I had a great time.

My stay at the Showboat was a good one, but the room was very outdated. We stayed on the Orleans side of the hotel. Room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Room curtains and bathroom shower curtain had bad water stains. Last day there water was brown had to let it run for a while. Hotel staff was very helpful. Their buffet was closed for most of December not good. Value wise stay was good for what we paid for.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The view from our room was beautiful, the restaurants in the hotel were good. It was so nice to walk out and have the beach right there. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. We arrived from a bus and when we got to hotel they let us check in early so that was nice. All that for a great price. We will defiantly be back for another time.

The reason why I picked the hotel was based on the price and location. I also liked the fact that it had a Mardi Gra theme to it, but was disappointed that they were no longer do the parade through the hotel lobby. I guess all in all it was still an enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious, the staff were wonderful, cleanliness of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend someone to stay here for future references

Decided to ride down to AC for a spur of the moment getaway and took advantage of an offer for Showboat and I am not at all disappointed that I did! I enjoyed my stay and my breakfast at the restaurant (not the buffet) in the casino. The server was my favorite thing about the hotel, he was so personable and just overall fantastic! Brian Estrada was the true jackpot at the hotel! I am looking forward to my next stay, more than overnight next time...

The pool is very small. Have to walk allot because it's located way at one end of the boardwalk. Hotel staff was great. Enjoyed the boardwalk, beach, shopping and especially the casinos. We even came home with money. Great honeymoon, would stay at Showboat again. Had to leave a day early due to hurricane Irene. Still waiting to be credited for having to leave a day early. Great experience. The drive was a bit hectic driving through Philly. Anyone who goes will have a great time, enjoy!

We enjoy our stay at the hotel. We like the room very much. The bathroom was a good size. My husband and I enjoy the use of the pool. We ate in the Mansion Cafe. The food was good. Service in the Mansion Cafe was very good. It was clean and bright. The gift shop was clean. The only thing shop did not have was the USA Paper. My husband like to read the USA Paper and do the puzzles. No HBO station.

My stay at the Showboat hotel was very pleasant. The room was very clean. The queen size beds were quite comfortable. I was very surprise to see a small refrigerator in my room in which it was good to store my juices and water. The bathroom was quite big with plenty of towels. The pool was small but okay. There was no bar on the weekdays at the pool area only on weekends, that should change. The buffet was great food yummy. My stay was great hope to come back again and stay at the Showboat.

We stayed there - just before hurricane Irene came in - for some days off, relaxing at the beach and pool. The location is very good for this purpose, only the Boardwalk separates the Hotel from the beach, but a little away from the main, crowded area, so that you can enjoy the Beach but you must not walk much to be in the "middle of the business!"

There are enough restaurants with a great variety of food, so we could enjoy our stay!

Check in was a little confusing finding the correct line to be in.We were approached by an employee asking if we were gold or diamond
members and we said no.He replied your nothing and we replied we've never been here before.We got in the correct line and I said to my husband I've never been called nothing before.The employee approached us again to apologize for calling us nothing. Other than that our stay was fabulous and we enjoyed your hotel .

I have frequently stayed at the Showboat over the years and have never been disappointed until now. The room must have previously been rented to a person with pets because there was an infestation of fleas in the room. It was down hill from there. The next thing I noticed was that the toilet seat was broken,then I went to turn on the television and discovered it was not working properly, and then as I went to sit on the sofa I noticed it had a odor of cat pee. I was very disappointed especially from the Showboat.

At the time of my arrival on 07/27/11, my wife and I became frustrated after waiting for several hours on the check-in desk to be informed that our room was not ready and that we would be staying at a different hotel. This process took about 4 hours before we were settled in a different hotel. This was surprising to my wife and me because, we are accustomed to superior service from the show Boat Hotel Casino. Overall, I recommend the Show Boat for almost any occasion, beside this incident; the Show Boat Hotel is a great place to stay.

The only drawback was the time it took to get into room when we arrived. We wanted a smoking room and I understand it takes longer to clean smoking rooms. It would be nice if their was more entertainment offerings during the week days. We had a great time with a very nice room that was extremely affordable and directly on the boardwalk. Casino was very nice. Room service was the best I ever had and the price was cheap for the breakfast me got.

Arrival began well upon checking in. Went to room to drop off luggage and then out to eat. Returned to find room key not working and had to go to the front desk. We had to check in again. We then returned to the room only to have security knocking on door telling us we had to return to the front desk this was now the 3rd time. Guest services at this time was helpful but never gave a reason why this happened.
There was a hole in the coverlet on the bed and the sheets were ripped. There was hair on the bathroom floor that was not ours. Reported the hair to housekeeping and they allegedly came and cleaned. Ordered Room Service for breakfast and that gets an A plus for service and food. On the last day there was loud drilling in the hall around 8:30 a.m. - who wants to hear that on vacation? I am sorry but the experience of booking through you was great but the hotel was less than satisfactory.

Wonderful hotel. Room was clean and spacious. The only thing not enough outlets, say to charge cell phone or bringing your alarm clock. Also no outlets near the bed. All in all a very good stay the buffet was very good and plenty of variety. Casino was very nice and most dealers were friendly. The beach area was nice and open easily to see ocean not like rest of beach area where you couldn't see the ocean unless you walked over mounds of sand.
