The hotel and staff were great. The only problem I had was the restaurants were not all open. They only opened certain days and times and I thought when I booked it that there was an indoor pool. I guess this was my mistake since in did not ask about it. I really liked the fact that there was non smoking in the casinos. I think the buffet is a little pricey for what they have to offer. I had a good time for the first time me being there,I'd would love to come back.
Thank you for treating me special and having me there to enjoy a wonderful time at Showboat. Also the rooms are lovey the casino is great.
Meeting other people was a great experience for me and my family. The restaurants are good to many things to choose from. Everything was an excitement for me and again thank you for having me 2.

I originally picked Showboat because it was the cheapest hotel during weekday that I can find online among the other hotel with casino. My stay in Showboat turned out to be better than the other Hotel and Casino I stayed in the next night with my boyfriend, which I will not mention. The room in Showboat was much bigger, has higher ceiling, has more towels in the bathroom, has better shower, has brighter room, compared to the Hotel and Casino I stayed at the next night. My husband and I loved our visit and even though we are not big gamblers- we had the most fun at the Showboat's casino. It was nice to have the complimentary shuttle service that made it easy and fun to see some of the other casino's. I only regret not staying another day to see the Saturday night Mardi Gras celebration.
The staff at the casino were very friendly and helpful. The food at the Mansion cafe was good- we only wish that the other restaurants and the buffet area were open during our stay.

Hotel & Casino were very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Had a issue that one of the pillows had what looked like dry blood on it, but there were enough pillow that we just threw it to the side. Biggest issue is the price for internet in the rooms, Had to do some business while I was there and was not used to a hotel without free wifi. It's location is good,especially if you are doing things at the Taj and don't feel like paying double. There is a decent selection of restaurants, but during the week almost all of the close before 10PM or aren't open at all. On the weekends there was only 1 place to eat after 11.

I enjoyed my stay tremendously. I will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were friendly, the restaurants were easy to find and the food was excellent. the bartenders were nice and accommodating. my room remained spotless. the casino bathrooms were immaculate. I also got a chance to purchase items and souvenirs from the Gift Shop everyone was so friendly. I was there to celebrate my friend's 26th birthday-we all had a great time.

The reviews written were not good, but if you are happy why write. My room was comparable to my stays in Vegas and my bed was more than comfortable. Everything about it was great and my wife was very pleased and we all know if the wife is happy we are happy. I will stay again this summer when I have family getting together for two days and this was a great trial visit to ensure they would like it as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Showboat. It was a quick check in/check out. The restaurants are all very good and well run. The casino is nice and we had no problem getting machines or tables to play at. The servers were there when you needed them and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this resort, I've been going there for 20 years and have never been disappointed with the accommodations or service.

Showboat hotel was incredible. The room was very elegant, spacious, clean, and cozy. My girlfriend and I stayed there for five days, and believe it or not she didn't want to leave. The service was excellent from the room service to the valet. The restaurants were great, the food, the fast service, and the low cost. We enjoy this hotel very much and we will definitely go back in November for her birthday.We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who want to have a great time.

This hotel was beautiful!! The minute you walk in you feel as if your in a whole new world. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean. The bed was the best ever to sleep in. The room service was incredible. The food was good and a great price. The casino was fun. I only wish they had more nickle machines. The hotel staff was very friendly. They helped me find great restaurants to eat at. I can't wait to go back again...

I went to see a concert at the House of Blues and this hotel was perfect!! The venue was in house!! I was amazed by the cleanliness, staff and location. I only stayed for one evening, but if I need to stay again, I would choose this hotel!! It was just what I needed! The room smelled wonderful when you walk in. The casinos were right around the corner from the elevator and the Italian restaurant was outstanding. If I could change one thing, it would be the smoking policy. The smoke hit you when you headed to the elevator to get to your room and that was a turn off.

I enjoyed my stay. I will be back with the family. Everyone was great and very helpful. The restaurants were very clean and the food was good. The casino was very loud that was the best part of it.. Everyone was like a family playing games and the best part winning. A romantic getaway was the best. The rooms are very quite and clean. The bathroom was out of this world the tub was so big and it was very clean.

The walls between rooms were paper thin. Thought the people in the next room were in my room during the night. Kids running up and down the halls screaming. Also we were not told that not every restaurant was open every day. Should have been told this when we made the reservation. We had to walk to other hotels for some of our meals which was very inconvenient. It was not a good experience overall, and I would not go back.

The room was somewhat clean, older styled decor. Paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. The Staff was friendly. I had a few problems when I tried to connect to the internet with my laptop. I called the help desk and they helped resolve the problem. The television in the room was awesome,great picture. Late night snacks were expensive and not a big variety of food or resturants to choose from. Unfortunately I only stayed two nights, and didn't have time to check out the pool, fitness facility, or shops.
