Sheraton Atlantic City : "the most comfortable bed my wife and i ever slept in but not the size we asked for" view full review

At check in we were really disappointed because the one and only request that my wife made was to have a king size bed. The walk to the other hotels to play in their casinos was a downsize. Maybe in the summertime the walk would be perfect. At checkout i was disappointed again because when i asked how may points i received from our stay i was told "0". If i paid $707.00 for 2 nights with you and receive nothing in return I will pay the $789.00 to stay at Trump or Tropicana. the least you guys could have done was give your guests a complimentary breakfast the first day or at least a discount.

My visit to Atlantic City was great. My husband and I had a great time. The distance from the hotel to the casino was great, we did not use our car the entire stay. There was sometime to do for everybody. If you like to shop, there are plenty of outlets. If you like to gamble, there are plenty of casionos. If you like to eat, there are plenty of resturants. The hotel was clean by a little noisey over my bed, I guess because it was holiday time and people were excited. I am planning to use this hotel for my job's vacation in July and Aug '07, it will be about 32 people.

I have stayed at this hotel on two other occasions and have always been impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff. I miss not having a casino in the hotel but then again it adds to the charm, and not having the noise and crowd of the casino is a plus when you just want to relax. I do plan on staying here again in the future and will make it my business to visit the pool. The walking distance to the shopping area and eating establishments helped make my stay even more enjoyable as I love shopping. The only downside was that the Jitney buses stopped running at 7:00 p.m. so we had to take a cab since it was late when we left the casinos.

I only stayed because Bally's was out of avalabale rooms. THe hotel seriously lacks entertainment. The send floor bar was closed. The Hotel was very nice but I did not like having to park across the street. I didn't feel very safe or secure when walking from my car to the hotel. I am use to mainly staying at casinos in Atlantic City so I am very much aware of security and safety issues. I like seeing the presence of a security person especially in a garage but also at the elevator entrance. Your staff was very polite and helpful and is a credit to your hotel. I have friends whom also stayed here and was pleased with your services.

The location was very convenient. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to see shows at the Borgata. It is literally not even 2 miles away. I also love the availablity of restaurants. I love to eat at the fantasea buffet and that was relatively close as well. I would stay at this hotel again without question. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I do not think that I can say a bad word about it. The scenery was beautiful as well. Great location! However, I would not recommend any hotel in Atlantic City to families with children as I do not believe AC is a place for children.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay the Sheraton, the staff was so nice to us the hotel is nice and clean. You don't have to worry about parking or traveling far to the shopping area or beach.for my vacation I plan on coming back the to the Sheraton this time with some of my friends and family there's a lot to do .

The Sheraton Atlantic City was easy to get to via the Atlantic city expressway.Great off street parking. Rooms were spacious and clean. Easy access to the boardwalk,food establishments and other entertainment venues.In all we loved it.
The Hotel has all of the things that you would want in terms of entertainment.The pool was spacious and was easily accessible. A newly renovated restaurant is close by. The menu is varied and has several items that offer different price points. You will enjoy your stay. We Did!

I arrived in Atlantic City a few hours before check in but this wasn't a problem. I was able to check in and go to room on arrival, this has been a problem at other hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have stayed any many hotels and motels, this is my first experience with Sheraton and I would stay again. Much better than the Boston Hyatt Regency, which I would not send my dog to spend the night. Thank you for a great visit.

Our stay at the Sheraton was very relaxing,we especially like the Sheraton because it is not noisy like the other hotels with the casino noise. Our other favorite is the Tun Tavern the food is delicious and the staff is just pleasant and fun to be with as you eat your meal Thanks Denise and Harold ,and the shopping at the outlets was just great,we got a lot of great deals.It is just a short walk from the Sheraton which is another plus.

It is very conveniently located. The parking lot is right opposite to the hotel. Lots of parking area reserved for Sheraton. It is a walking distance to AC outlet, boardwalk and the beach. It is convenient to go to nearby spots of interest like Cape May and Ocean City. Casino hotels are very nearby. They are all walking distance. I enjoy it a lot with my family and teenagers. We carried lots of shopping bags home.
I strongly recommend this hotel to my friends.

The stay was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable too, which is a big deal while traveling. The room was supposed to be a non smoking room, however, it smelled of smoke each time we entered it. We called down to the desk to let them know,(so we would not be charged a clean up fee), they offered a different room. We declined, it was tolerable. We went for the airshow at the boardwalk, it is a long walk for older people to the beach, but it is very convenient for shopping along the outlets. The restaurant Tun Tavern attached to the hotel is very good, however a bit pricey, $70 for one adult and 2 kids. The breakfast buffet was also good, they give you a coupon for 2 for 1, otherwise it is expensive a la cart. They paid for our self parking for the night also, which was a big plus. Overall, I would stay again as the price for the room was exceptional and the quality was very good. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was exceptionally clean. I selected this hotel for the price and location to the shopping outlets.

The hotel is very well located.. near the train station and convention center, 3 blocks from the bus station, near the casinos and main department stores ... there are great rooms and restaurants... I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton.. this is the second time visiting Atlantic City and the second time staying at the Sheraton. I really recommend all kind of travelers stay at the Sheraton Atlantic city convention center!!! If you are enjoying NYC and dc area you have to pass buy this beautiful city and stay at least one night at the Sheraton

The Sheraton Atlantic City is in a great location to explore the shopping outlets. Which is why we were there. The Hotel itself is very elegant with a fantastic lobby. My stay was only 1 night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The decor was very pleasing. I was not as impressed with the bathroom. The toilet had a rattling flush that was very loud. The same with the shower. I think the pipes need to be changed. Over all a Great stay. I would recommend this Hotel for a weekend getaway.
