When I C/I, the boss ask me to pay $11.25 for
tax, I told him, I paid tax already, I show him
the paper print from AtlanticCity.Com that I paid
$16 tax. He still insist me to pay $11.25, otherwise, I can't C/I. So, he take me credit card to charge $11.25. I'm so upset by this.
Although he take my Credit Card, I'll told the Credit Card Issuer not pay the $11.25.

The one and only reason to recommend this motel is that is close to Atlantic City with out actually staying in the city. The rooms smelled so to freshen it there was a urinal cake in the drop ceiling in the bathroom. The towels were stained. The bathtub leaked water all over the floor. There was no light at the sink (broken). And to think I was only afraid of bugs. Thank Got there were none. Don't believe continental breakfast, it was a muffin and horrible coffee. On second thought, Do Not Stay Here.

No tissues in my room... seemed BARELY cleaned... but still a bargain for the price... and the location is great... closest you can get to the strip without staying on the strip!! Even the wall by the shower seemed to be peeling off. The drain for the sink was missing (very random I know!) They didn't even leave an extra roll of toilet paper, which is quite customary even for a motel! Also, no flat screens... what a rip off!!

This hotel was in a convenient location to Atlantic City and very quiet and clean. We had a jacuzzi room which was very nice. Bob at the front desk was also wonderful and very accommodating. It was a great place to stay for the weekend we were there and I feel that even if the trip were longer it would be very comfortable to stay there. The drive into Atlantic City was very quick. The view from the hotel was great...the ocean, casinos, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The Front Desk did not want me to use AtlanticCity.com. He handed me about 20 business cards to spread the word about this lodge, I said I had no interest in advertising for him. When you lifted the bedspread the sheets were dirty and looked like they had skid marks on them. The place smelled musty. If you aren't planning on spending anytime in your room this is the place for you. The only plus is that its about two miles from The Borgata.

If you want a basic place to stay while you're in the Atlantic City area, this is your location! It's very close to all the casinos, and it's very easy to get to. The rooms are larger than you would expect for such an inexpensive motel. In addition, everything you need is available either in your room or from the front office. I could have chosen any of the other motels in the area, but the Royal Lodge was the best choice in terms of convenience.

It's great for the buck! And, it's the closest motel in Absecon- to Atlantic City! It's clean, and the staff/owners are very friendly. You will not walk into a 5 star hotel, but it is clean You can see the Bay right from your window. Let me tell you this! You will save about 50% when staying here, rather than Atlantic City! and it's only a short ride over the bridge to A/C! Try it, you'll be glad you did!
