Upon my arrival, check in was very quick and satisfactory. I came with a friend to attend a concert in an adjoining Casino Arena. My friend and I had a ridiculous time trying to find somewhere to eat dinner without going outdoors! We finally ended up in Taj Majal which offered not many more options. This was a Thursday night. Maybe a weekend visits would be better, but my event was not on a weekend. The cost was fair, but considering our bad luck with dinner and terribly uncomfortable mattress and pillows, I'm not sure. The shopping was decent; we found some fun things in the shops.

Resorts is a great old hotel for a great old price. I stay there every year for the teachers convention and rather enjoy the sort of retro atmosphere. I haven't yet been to Boogie Nights but it looks like fun and will be making the trip soon. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant and the casino floor is very well kept and full of life. Though the hotel is an older one, it is very clean and comfortable.

Hotel room was nice. There weren't enough places to eat at in the hotel after 10:00PM and few places to get a drink. One lounge we found; charged for premium liquor and substituted low end stuff. I ordered several drinks in which I requested a premium liquor and no way was it what I received. The alcohol was poured out of the correct bottle though. I strongly suspect they substituted low end alcohol for their liquor. It would not surprise me if others picked up on it also.
As mentioned above the room was nice- the bed was extremely firm though. The walk from the Rendezvous Tower to other spots in the hotel had a strong smell of cigarettes.
I have stayed at competitors hotels in AC and I would say this is my least favorite and the service was not as friendly as the other places. I would not stay here again.

Overall I had a great time. Workers should be more knowledgeable about the services the hotel provides as well as when those services are open. Guests were directed to the buffet on the second floor that was not open and would not be open at all that day. Front desk personnel were not familiar with the surrounding area. We were directed to Dunkin Donuts on the boardwalk for breakfast one morning. We were told it was 2 blocks down when it actually was about 6 to 8 blocks and not even open. I am disabled and was traveling with a friend who is also disabled.

It was nice to see the Hotel again. I was last there many years ago when it was new. It could use some upgrades. It is located in a good spot on the boardwalk. But there is really not ocean views anymore since they built the Taj. The service was good everyone was very nice and helpful. The Casino is still nice and bright. But parts of the place is starting to show signs of age. The stay was nice.

We were very happy with our room and service. I was a little concerned about security, anybody can go up on the elevators to the rooms. And the pillows were flat and foam rubbery. But the view of the ocean and the walks on the Boardwalk made more than up for this. We'll be back hoping for a little more luck in the Casino. Shopping in outlets and side trips to Cape May were wonderful!

I was hit in the head in the bathroom and split my head open. I received poor medical advice from the nurse on duty at the hotel resulting in a larger scar on my head, they wouldn't even give me a bottle of water the next day to take aspirin, and my 10th anniversary was ruined. The Resorts hotel has not contacted me once to see if I am ok. The front desk person couldn't have been ruder if he tried. the view was of a wall of the building next to us.

Hotel was great one of the largest and cleanest room we've been to. Great view from our rooms with both ocean and city view. The boardwalk was just downstairs behind the building. The check in staff were really nice and friendly. The bathrooms were incredible one of the largest and nicest bathrooms we've seen at AC. The rooms were also pretty up to date in technology we had LCD tvs. The room was also great for a group to just sit in there and chat for a bit since there were couches and tables. In some cases it may even be good for a small business meeting.

The Resorts Atlantic City Casino Hotel is a nice hotel, has nice big rooms and parking was extremely easy. Not a four star hotel/casino, but certainly one that was comfortable and one we would stay at again in the future. The casino and restaurants had friendly people who made our stay enjoyable. The check in was a little slow with 3 people behind the counter and only us in line and we waited 10 minutes - but other than that - I would stay there again.

This hotel is in a good location. I wish the buffet dining would have been available during my stay. I was able experience enjoyable dining. I liked the proximity to the local taverns and restaurants. I became familiar with the hotel and its surroundings. I felt quite comfortable. The room was comfortable and the hotel was really clean. There was plenty of visable sercurity and casino personnel during the late night hours. I was impressed with the speed of which I was able to check in and out. I will be returing to this hotel.

I had booked 4 rooms for my company on my email address plus recommended an additional 4 rooms to quests who were coming into town for business as well. I checked into the hotel a day earlier than everyone else, which might have been a mistake. All my other quest's received rooms in the new tower and were happy with their accommodations. I was placed in the old tower which should be blown up and start over. It is outdated, dingy, and very, very old. After asking to be moved twice, I gave up on the third try and put up with what was supposed to be a mini suite, but in reality was two rooms, with a wall taken out of the middle. I had two bathrooms, with 60's tiles and barely big enough to sit on the john. Drop ceiling that had mold and didn't look like it had been cleaned in years. When I asked the front desk about moving to the new tower I was told that because we had a special rate thru a third party that was not possible, yet everyone else in my group paid the same rate and received nice rooms.
I guess I would recommend this hotel if I could make sure of receiving the cleaner, nicer rooms, instead of the original 60's rooms.

I was concerned after reading some of the reviews, but was very happy with the entire visit at Resorts.

Check-in was quick, I spent less than 15 mins in line. The reservation was in order, and the clerk was very courteous. Checkout was just as easy, I just used the in-room TV checkout.

My non-smoking room was in the Rendezvous tower. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and odor free. The king-sized bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. There was nothing to complain about.

Overall, I was very happy with the accommodations, and would return there again, given that I had a room in the Rendezvous tower.

If you plan on staying at Resorts, book a room at the renovated Rendezvous Towers. The Ocean Tower room was outdated and the bathroom was in need of repairs (leaky tub faucet and cracked tile). Luckily we were able to change rooms but the clerk was hesitant to do so at first. He stated there was a restriction because we did not book through the hotel website. Not sure is that was true. The room was very nice and huge bathroom.

The Resorts is right on the boardwalk with the beautiful beach just a walk away. The rooms are clean; room service was quick; the hotel and casino were busy enough for that exciting ambiance, yet not so busy that we felt squeezed in. We spent our mornings shopping at the nearby outlets, our afternoons on the beach, and our evenings dining and visiting the casinos along the boardwalk. On my next trip to AC I will definitely book with Resorts again, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family.
