Upon my arrival, check in was very quick and satisfactory. I came with a friend to attend a concert in an adjoining Casino Arena. My friend and I had a ridiculous time trying to find somewhere to eat dinner without going outdoors! We finally ended up in Taj Majal which offered not many more options. This was a Thursday night. Maybe a weekend visits would be better, but my event was not on a weekend. The cost was fair, but considering our bad luck with dinner and terribly uncomfortable mattress and pillows, I'm not sure. The shopping was decent; we found some fun things in the shops.

Hotel room was nice. There weren't enough places to eat at in the hotel after 10:00PM and few places to get a drink. One lounge we found; charged for premium liquor and substituted low end stuff. I ordered several drinks in which I requested a premium liquor and no way was it what I received. The alcohol was poured out of the correct bottle though. I strongly suspect they substituted low end alcohol for their liquor. It would not surprise me if others picked up on it also.
As mentioned above the room was nice- the bed was extremely firm though. The walk from the Rendezvous Tower to other spots in the hotel had a strong smell of cigarettes.
I have stayed at competitors hotels in AC and I would say this is my least favorite and the service was not as friendly as the other places. I would not stay here again.

I had booked 4 rooms for my company on my email address plus recommended an additional 4 rooms to quests who were coming into town for business as well. I checked into the hotel a day earlier than everyone else, which might have been a mistake. All my other quest's received rooms in the new tower and were happy with their accommodations. I was placed in the old tower which should be blown up and start over. It is outdated, dingy, and very, very old. After asking to be moved twice, I gave up on the third try and put up with what was supposed to be a mini suite, but in reality was two rooms, with a wall taken out of the middle. I had two bathrooms, with 60's tiles and barely big enough to sit on the john. Drop ceiling that had mold and didn't look like it had been cleaned in years. When I asked the front desk about moving to the new tower I was told that because we had a special rate thru a third party that was not possible, yet everyone else in my group paid the same rate and received nice rooms.
I guess I would recommend this hotel if I could make sure of receiving the cleaner, nicer rooms, instead of the original 60's rooms.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a huge line of people checking in. The bell staff was overwhelmed. My wife had an oxygen concentrator delivered to the hotel. The bell staff said it would be 1/2 to 1 hour to get it up to the room.This was at 6:00pm. When we got back to the room at midnight we had to make a third phone call before the machine was delivered. The next morning my wife made a phone call from her cell phone and mistakenly left the cell phone on the desk. When we got back to the room the phone was gone. The one good thing I can say is the security was very sympathetic.

The rooms at this hotel were really dirty with stains all over the carpet. In addition, the Casino was very dark and gloomy. I was with thirty plus people and most of our time was spent next door at the Trump Taj or one of the other hotels on the boardwalk. We did however enjoy eating at the burger restaurant which had great service and good food. We also enjoyed our time spent during the day at the pool with a great view of the beach and boardwalk below.

The hotel room's were not appealing at ALL for what I paid for.The walls were all mark up, the ceiling tiles and runners were dirty and rusted.The beds sheets were kind of yellow.I expected a lot more from a Casino. Check-in time was suppose to be 1-2pm but we were told that our room would not be ready until 4:30pm. We just drove 6 hours to get to Atlantic City. What a disappointment. Never again

Hotel was ok but too expensive for the room. A lot of hassle checking in and room not ready even upon check-in time. I would have had a better time if the hotel was less expensive or a better location. The area has been built up and there were some good places to go like the Irish Pub and Atlantic City Bar & Grill which had great food at a very reasonable rate. Enjoyed a concert of Yanni at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall which is a first and was great! Had great sounds and seating and people were terrific.

I really wasn't sure what to expect, but the service was terrible...from the valet parking to checking into our rooms and then finding out information on where to go and how to pay for parking, people are just rude here at this hotel. The room itself was nice, old but nice. The location was convenient because it's right off the ocean. Because of the service we received, I would not recommend this hotel to others and will not stay here again in the future.

The bed was very very hard and uncomfortable. Yes the hotel room was spacious but the bed was low and very very hard and I repeat very hard. I didn't gamble in that casino but I wanted to in this hotel because I've never stayed there before. If you are going to gamble and don't plan to be in the room this is great for the price. If you are planning to just be in your room and relaxed in the bed then don't do it.

This hotel's service was lacking. We originally booked for 1 night and tried to extend another night. It took us almost 11 phone calls to do this, and no one seemed remotely happy to help us. We were transferred to the marketing department, front desk, reservations...etc. We had to call about 7 times in order to even book the room for the next night to stay a night longer. It seemed it was an inconvenience for us to give them another night of business. Front desk was borderline rude. They ran out of parking transfers and didn't help us at all. Instead of offering us options, they basically said "We Can't help you. We ran out of slips." They then turned away and didn't offer any more help on the matter. So, basically we spent a lot more money on parking at one of their sister casinos because the front desk couldn't give a slip they ran out of. Didn't seem they appreciated our business too much. It seemed to me that a hotel would be happy to accommodate their customers and appreciate if they want to extend their stay...but this hotel seemed bothered by it and was not willing to help out at all. I am in a customer service profession, and I would never treat my customers this way. So in all, the service was poor, but the hotel was clean and our room was actually quite spacious. The casino is pretty small, but comfortable and not too intimidating. All in all, the hotel was decent but the service is severely lacking. If the service would have been great, then I would have definitely raved about this hotel to my friends. I am going back to A.C. in 4 weeks with some friends and am not sure if I would recommend this hotel because of the poor service we received...even though I really did enjoy the hotel itself and it's location. It is a shame!

I was there for a special get away from the kids and relax with my man. The rooms were a bit drab. The rooms were out dated. Room service was a bit pricey for what you were buying.Got woke up each morning by screaming children in the hallway. Really !! Also put do not disturb sign out, yet house keeping woke us up around 9 am. Then came the screaming kids.
Might go back, but just to gamble not for special event like I did.

We stayed at the Resorts for the first time. We stayed in the older section and it certainly seemed old. The room needed updating, it was not cleaned very well - we were not impressed. We had hoped to check in a little early, but the front desk staff would not allow us to, which we understood. What we did not understand was why they were so rude about it! The only positive thing I can say is, the Room Service was EXCELLENT! We frequent AC and I have never really had good room service until now - it was delicious and quick.

Older hotel but still a good pick for the price. Beach is close,parking was cheap $5.00 and the staff was very nice.Casino had area for smokers and non smokers which was good.We planned on staying another night but will definitely be back.When you spend only a little time in your room why spend a fortune.This is why this hotel was perfect for us.They even have a deal that if we come back again the fare is cheaper which was a surprise to us.All in all good place to stay cheap.

I have stayed here several times, but this was the only time I had trouble. They had to move us from the first room because of a smokey odor in the room. Second room was o.k. but had to go to front desk 3 times for new keys, they never worked, and had to call every day for fresh towels because they cleaned the room, but never left towels, Finally we really complained and they gave us a $60.00 comp for room service.
