I had booked 4 rooms for my company on my email address plus recommended an additional 4 rooms to quests who were coming into town for business as well. I checked into the hotel a day earlier than everyone else, which might have been a mistake. All my other quest's received rooms in the new tower and were happy with their accommodations. I was placed in the old tower which should be blown up and start over. It is outdated, dingy, and very, very old. After asking to be moved twice, I gave up on the third try and put up with what was supposed to be a mini suite, but in reality was two rooms, with a wall taken out of the middle. I had two bathrooms, with 60's tiles and barely big enough to sit on the john. Drop ceiling that had mold and didn't look like it had been cleaned in years. When I asked the front desk about moving to the new tower I was told that because we had a special rate thru a third party that was not possible, yet everyone else in my group paid the same rate and received nice rooms.
I guess I would recommend this hotel if I could make sure of receiving the cleaner, nicer rooms, instead of the original 60's rooms. This customer's view does not reflect the opinion of Atlanticcity.com Inc.

This hotel's service was lacking. We originally booked for 1 night and tried to extend another night. It took us almost 11 phone calls to do this, and no one seemed remotely happy to help us. We were transferred to the marketing department, front desk, reservations...etc. We had to call about 7 times in order to even book the room for the next night to stay a night longer. It seemed it was an inconvenience for us to give them another night of business. Front desk was borderline rude. They ran out of parking transfers and didn't help us at all. Instead of offering us options, they basically said "We Can't help you. We ran out of slips." They then turned away and didn't offer any more help on the matter. So, basically we spent a lot more money on parking at one of their sister casinos because the front desk couldn't give a slip they ran out of. Didn't seem they appreciated our business too much. It seemed to me that a hotel would be happy to accommodate their customers and appreciate if they want to extend their stay...but this hotel seemed bothered by it and was not willing to help out at all. I am in a customer service profession, and I would never treat my customers this way. So in all, the service was poor, but the hotel was clean and our room was actually quite spacious. The casino is pretty small, but comfortable and not too intimidating. All in all, the hotel was decent but the service is severely lacking. If the service would have been great, then I would have definitely raved about this hotel to my friends. I am going back to A.C. in 4 weeks with some friends and am not sure if I would recommend this hotel because of the poor service we received...even though I really did enjoy the hotel itself and it's location.
