For such a low price, I expected the hotel to be in bad shape. I'll admit that I was a little nervous having read previous reviews but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great location despite what others may have to say. It's right on the boardwalk! You really can't beat that. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we would be more than willing to stay again. Great room sizes and a great place to get away if you can't afford the higher priced luxury hotels. It was just right.

We loved everything about the hotel except for that there seemed to be way too much chlorine in the rooftop hot tub. When we turned the jets on the chlorine the chlorine rose and was so intense that we had to get out of the hot tub and go over to the pool for a bit. However, other then that everything was great. The temperature in the heated pool and hot tub were perfect. The room was comfortable and well cleaned, the location was great, and having a jacuzzi in the room was nice. Moreover, we had a great view of the beach and the ocean. My boyfriend enjoyed having a pool table in the hotel as well and we were a short walk from the casinos.

I stayed at the same hotel and the same room one year ago. This year I found that there was no hot water and i had to take luke warm showers. It is pretty bad when you shower with only the hot water on and it is warm. Also, there was alot of construction right outside our window which started at 6am every morning and it did not stop. This was very bothersome. Overall I love the room because it is an apartment. I might change my location on the strip because the Sand's was my favorit hotel and it is no longer there.

The room was rather large. It has a full kitchen. There were no restaurants in the hotel (no room service). The location was great. On the board walk and close to the casinos. It said it had a Jacuzzi, but it was really a bathtub with a couple jets. The hotel also claimed to have a queen size pull out couch in the living room, really it was a dirty futon. In conclusion, this place is great for families and teenagers. It was very roomie and the location was absolutely great! Would not reccommend for a romantic getaway for a couple.

Le Renaissance is great place for people looking to hang out at the casinos but can't afford the high prices of their rooms. It's a great offer for the price you pay, and the suites are great! It's right on the boardwalk so you can walk to any of the casinos that are also on the boardwalk. There are a few drawbacks though. The suites are not as clean as rooms in hotels, but are much cleaner than any other "cheap" hotel/motel that I've stayed at in AC. There is also limited parking and the parking lot across the street is not open all night and tows so I have had to park in the street or at the Comfort Inn down the block.

This hotel from start check in to check out was a great experience. The front desk checking in was great they explained everythin to me and my family. They recommedned many great resturants, casinos, family afffairs, and nice attractions to visit. I had a plumming problem and called guest services and they were there in less than 5 minutes and very kind and curtious. Check out time was reasonable and easy and quick to check out. The only problem that i had was parking in the garage and waiting for the car elevator to come up since so many people were using it. I give it a over all great review

Hallway carpet was very dirty, the sink in the kitchen was a bar sink,very small,no tv in one of the bedrooms, bulb out in the bathroom,I was told that there was two queen beds not,freezer was not working. Carpet in the unit also was very dirty. I think if the place was a little bit cleaner this would be a nice place to stay. Hot tub and swimming pool was very nice. AC didn't work too good.

I was disappointed about the size of the room for six adults. Rooms were too small with no room to move around and only l bath. Online stated that one of the rooms had 2 queen size beds, there were two twin beds. Front desk clerk was more than happy to give us around room with little more space but same accommodations and city view. We loved the beach view so we stayed put. Stay was a getaway trip for six.

La Renaissance Suites is not a bad hotel, overall. The location is great, right on the boardwalk, near the ocean. The quality of the room was pretty good. Each room includes a full kitchen, and living room area. I would prefer to stay on the ocean side, for a nice view of the beach. I did not get a chance to check out the pool area. The front desk was helpful and service was quick. My only complaint about the room was the cleanliness. The floor could have used a bit of vacuuming, as well as the couch. Although I could tell that the bed sheets were washed, there were a few dark stains that stood out, which I'm sure would freak some people out. There were spare bed sheets in the bedroom closet that appeared to be much cleaner. Another good feature about this hotel is free parking in their parking garage. The garage is a bit small, so those of you whom drive large vehicles and/or have a difficult time backing out of tight car spaces, you may want to park in the street, or the parking lot across the street. The only difference is that the parking lot will charge you a daily rate.

We chose the hotel because of the kitchenette and proximity to the beach. I read other reviews and was prepared for the dirty windows and tight parking. I had high hopes because the website says the rooms were remodeled last summer. Unfortunately, that was a bit of an exaggeration because I couldn't see the results. The walls were dirty with food particles, gouges and stains. The carpet wasn't the cleanest either. The bathroom and kitchen were pretty clean, and the bedroom was okay. Overall, the stay was fun. If you can't afford to stay at a casino, just remember- you get what you pay for.

At first I was not impressed with the hotel; however, this being a first visit to Atlantic City I had nothing to compare it to. We were seeking a comfortable family friendly non casino hotel; while remaining in close proximity to casinos for the adult family members who wished to visit the casinos. The location was ideal for beach access, and Bally's was a five minute walk. Parking at this hotel was tight as others have mentioned but it is manageable for a standard vehicle. The room was acceptable. The bathroom was clean, but all windows were very dirty. The view from the balcony was an ocean view; however the more prominent view was the very worn tarred building directly attached to the hotel. The pool was very small, but sufficient for our family. If travelers are seeking optimum location in a non casino hotel, I would recommend this hotel. It does not possess the glitz and glamor of the casino hotels, but for the price it is worth considering.

I always like to stay in this hotel as it has a kitchenette. However, the previous visits there were much better than this past visit. I was not satisfied with the front desk service, they seemed to be low end and have bad attitudes, which is something I don't want to deal with coming from New York City. If I want attitudes, I can just stay in New York and not waste my hard earned money staying in their hotel. Plus, to add insult to injury, it was like pulling teeth asking for anything, such as a crib for my 14 month old, which I specified in my reservation. Also, what I've noticed even in past visits, is that the carpeting in the rooms are filthy, your socks literally turn black. The previous time we were there, we had complained of ants being in the room. They had to get someone to come exterminate the room. But the hotel manager is very nice. It's just too bad that things are not properly maintained/cleaned and their service is poor.

The Hotel is simple and pleasant. Located a few steps away from the Atlantic City boardwalk and the beach. This is our second visit to this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to other casinos, restaurants, shows, etc. The rooms are like being in an apartment with kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave. You can store food in your room and not worry about it getting spoiled. There is no room service as far as a cafe or restaurant being there, but you can order from nearby and they deliver to the hotel. The Pool is a small one. The room has a balcony which some face the ocean overlooking the boardwalk, nice view at night when resting in.

From the outside of the hotel, it looks deceiving because it is pretty run down. The rooms are pretty big and spacious. They are also clean. We did not get to see the pool, but we heard it is very small. We decided to go to the beach instead. We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the beach and in the middle of everything. It was also one of the cheapest compared to many of the other hotels.

The hotel was very outdated.The kitchen had a refrigetor that looked like it was from the 1960's. Windows were dirty in and outside. The bathroom sink stopper was stuck. The toilet bowl was loose. The door knob was coming off. The everything in the gym room was broken. The arcade room had only a pool table and two video games. We did not enjoy our stay even from the outside of the hotel it looked bad. I would not recommend this hotel at all unless they give you a very cheap rate and some perks to go with them.
