Stayed on a Friday night, all the casinos had very high rates, we were able to get a room for less than 150$. Beach front room with a great view, easy walking distance to Bally's or Resorts. Reasonable walk to Tropicana and Trump. Would recommend that you walk on the boardwalk and not on the streets, felt a bit uncomfortable about the area when we walked the street. Cab fare was only 5$ between Bally's and this hotel (didn't want to walk back at 2am).

The outside of the hotel, was nothing nice. We checked in and asked the front desk if we could have an ocean front room. She said she would try. When we walked into the room we were really happy. The room was awesome. We had a one bedroom suite, it was very clean, and spacious. And of course the ocean was gorgeous. Have a great time and will return and recommend this hotel.
The parking garage was kind of different, you had to put your car on an elevator to go to the upper levels of the garage. but was not a big deal considering the comfort of the rooms.

My friends and I decided to go to Atlantic City to help celebrate my 30th Birthday. We looked for a hotel that would be close to the main attractions and also provide affordable, quality, comfortable accommodations. La Renaissance was just that. Rodrigo, the late night check-in assistant was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The room was spacious and cozy and the view was beautiful. This group of young professionals will definitely return. Thanks for the great service.

My experience at La Renaissance was very positive. The staff were very nice and the rooms very very well organized and cleaned. The entrance was just steps away from the boardwalk which made it even more convenient. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub which was very convenient. The hotel rooms are very nice especially because they come equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and a stove which you can bring food along with you to save more money. My stay was overall great.

We chose the hotel because of the kitchenette and proximity to the beach. I read other reviews and was prepared for the dirty windows and tight parking. I had high hopes because the website says the rooms were remodeled last summer. Unfortunately, that was a bit of an exaggeration because I couldn't see the results. The walls were dirty with food particles, gouges and stains. The carpet wasn't the cleanest either. The bathroom and kitchen were pretty clean, and the bedroom was okay. Overall, the stay was fun. If you can't afford to stay at a casino, just remember- you get what you pay for.

I booked through the internet using AtlanticCity.com site. I wanted to be near the beach and safe walking distance to the casinos. This hotel was ideal. The balcony overlooking the ocean was a bonus as was the kitchen and 2 TV's.This was an unexpected break so cost determined whether we went and how long we stayed. The front desk staff (Roosevelt) was exceptionally helpful.We were happy to be able to walk to restaurants,boardwalk shopping and casinos.

From the outside the hotel do not look very appealing, but once we checked in and got to our room I was quite surprise. We had one of the newly renovated room which was quite nice. The room was big, clean and we have a baloney with the view of the ocean and boardwalk. The one negative was I smelled smoke from other people who was smoking in there rooms. I had to open the baloney door to air out the place. We also took full advance of the kitchen and we cook our own meals which saved us on spending money on food. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and when we checked out the next day. The young lady was nice enough to allow us to keep our car in the garage so we can go and check out Ripley's museum. The parking garage is tight so if you park in there you have to be careful not to hit anyone car. Overall! The hotel is a great value with big, clean rooms.

Great place to stay. You can get to the beach quickly and casinos are a short walk away. I have stayed here four times and plan on using it again next year. The rooms are clean and it is great having a full kitchen available during the stay. The view from the rooms are great and it is nice sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening. The pool is small but good for those days when the weather is just not good enough.

At first I was not impressed with the hotel; however, this being a first visit to Atlantic City I had nothing to compare it to. We were seeking a comfortable family friendly non casino hotel; while remaining in close proximity to casinos for the adult family members who wished to visit the casinos. The location was ideal for beach access, and Bally's was a five minute walk. Parking at this hotel was tight as others have mentioned but it is manageable for a standard vehicle. The room was acceptable. The bathroom was clean, but all windows were very dirty. The view from the balcony was an ocean view; however the more prominent view was the very worn tarred building directly attached to the hotel. The pool was very small, but sufficient for our family. If travelers are seeking optimum location in a non casino hotel, I would recommend this hotel. It does not possess the glitz and glamor of the casino hotels, but for the price it is worth considering.

The place was very clean and the staff was very helpful with questions. Also the room are very quaint and cozy. We especially like the kitchen area even though we didn't cook. The parking is a little tight but once your parked just keep it in the garage and walk. Lastly the view from the room was beautiful. I would definitely stay there again, for the price was perfect. Also its in great walking distance of all the shops and casinos.

It was a great stay and still a nice place to relax with family. I always choose this hotel because with young children less casino action and prefect setting for families Its very close to everything and great view of the beach which everyone enjoyed I would stay here again just wish it was a little cleaner in the bathroom. My children enjoyed the activities that they plan during the week. I like staying at this hotel I will come back again in August.

This hotel was located on the boardwalk and the beach and casino's were right there. My wife and I wanted to get away for Memorial Day Weekend and decided to book the trip Thursday night, not only was the hotel available but it had the best rate!

We were a little nervous at first but once we got there we were very happy with our choice. I want to get a time share there after this trip.

I recommend this hotel to all and I hope you have a trip just like ours.

This is not our first visit to La Renaissance Suites and it will not be our last. The place is quiet, pleasant and there has never been any trouble right from the time I called to make a reservation, to our arrival and then unfortunately, the departure.

I love the fact the place gives so much value, other then staying at a hotel. For a few dollars more you get your own dining room, kitchen, living room, very clean bathroom, etc.

I have recommended La Renaissance Suites to a co-worker and she appears to be ready to make an appointment for this coming August.

Once again, thank you for a very pleasant stay and we will definitely consider staying here again for our next visit to Atlantic City.

I always like to stay in this hotel as it has a kitchenette. However, the previous visits there were much better than this past visit. I was not satisfied with the front desk service, they seemed to be low end and have bad attitudes, which is something I don't want to deal with coming from New York City. If I want attitudes, I can just stay in New York and not waste my hard earned money staying in their hotel. Plus, to add insult to injury, it was like pulling teeth asking for anything, such as a crib for my 14 month old, which I specified in my reservation. Also, what I've noticed even in past visits, is that the carpeting in the rooms are filthy, your socks literally turn black. The previous time we were there, we had complained of ants being in the room. They had to get someone to come exterminate the room. But the hotel manager is very nice. It's just too bad that things are not properly maintained/cleaned and their service is poor.
