This Hotel is nothing fancy. It was close to the casinos and reasonable enough for an overnight stay. We had a girl weekend and it was enough room for the three of us. It was clean too. It just needed a little TLC. The price was right. We didn't spend time in the room. We just slept there. If you are looking for a hotel to just sleep at, this is the one. Save your money for the slots and win lots of money!!

Cheap rates very close to beach it was a nice change from the big casino hotels that i usaly stey at when i come to atlant city to visit the beach I also thought the free parking was a big plus most hotels charge you to park in the atlantic city area. I would recomend this hotel to couples I was dissapointed the pool was not usable because i like to go smimming i the pool when i'm on vacation but they are remodeling the pool so next time i will be able to go smimming.

The service was good. The employees friendly, polite and helpful. The only thing we did not like was the fact that we had access to the garage, but we had to come from the Holiday Inn and walk in the cold to get into the hotel. In the summer this is not a problem but in the winter it is, especially when they lock the back door after 11:00pm. We can not rate on business or internet access because we did not come for those purposes, therefore we did not look for those amenities. We did like however, there was an iron and ironing board in the room.

The hotel was perfect for my needs. Everyone was very polite and nice. I would definatly stay here again in the future. It is right near the boardwalk, across the street from the Tropicana Casino. If you are going to Atlanic City with some friends and want a cheap, nice place to stay after some partying the Howard Johnson is the perfect place. They also have a parking garage with free parking, as well as free valet parking. The room was clean and comfortable, I did not have any complaints or problems with this hotel. I will also recommend it my friends if they are traveling to Atlantic City.

The room was great...but the walls were paper thin...we heard everything outside, inside, in the halls, the maids talking, the doors closing etc. As we were leaving, others were saying the same thing. No matter how nice the room is, if you can't sleep, it's not a place to stay. Again, the room was nice, the sheets were high quality, the service good, the location ok. The parking was a problem because you had to walk so far from the garage to the motel. The price was really reasonable, but you have to sleep sometime, so we won't be staying in the Howard Johnson's again.

Hotel is a little old and could use some rennovations, but overall the hotel was ok. The check-in process was easy and stress free. I just wish that we didn't have to park in the hotel next door, because coming in from the parking lot, we walked to the lobby and took the elevator to our floor, without realizing that we were in the wrong hotel. So there should be better parking arrangements as far as I'm concerned, but that's about it. The room was what we requested and it was clean. I loved the fact that it was very inexpensive for being so close to the Boardwalk and to my favourite hotel on the strip: The Tropicana!

I would first like to say that I enjoyed my stay at Howard Johnson. The location of the hotel was convinient to the casinos and boardwalk.. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed that it also had a balcony..not a good view, but it was good enough just to catch some air.. ZCustomer service was great and very helpful. I woould recommend this hotel to other and I myself would definitely stay at Howard Johnson for my next visit. the hotel was not what i thought it would be. people had t.v.on so loud we could hear them. could not sleep with all the noise. there was no heat in the rooms, needed extra blankets. i think the hotel needs an upgrade. for it to be on the same strip as bally's, the tropicana, etc. the hotel should have been in better shape. i don't understand at the time of check out, how come i couldn't get a cpoy of my bill. i think it is fair that i know how much i paid for the weekend.

I would love tos stay here again! Great price and friendly people! My boyfirnd and i dont get to get away to offten and we dont always have a lot of money but we would like to get away at least once a month and just go crazy and blow every cent we got. i recently turned 21 and this hotel was the first one i stayed at. i must say everyone was extremely friendly and the room met our needs. the food was delicious and the bathroom and sheets were clean. ( very important to me!) I will be staying here again! Thank You.

I arrived for my very short weekend honeymoon. The hotel was great for the value. The only problem I had was the person at the front desk who wouldn't help me move a date that a person on the phone got wrong when taking my reservation. I said I'd pay the difference, but the associate told me there was nothing he could do and so I had to book and pay for a new reservation. Also another thing that sucks is that I thought every hotel had a honeymoon suit, but we didn't even get a king size bed that I requested, so my newly married husband and I had two beds. Other then that, the hotel is great for the money and the location is not bad either.

This was not my first time staying at the hotel. I made my reservations online with intentions on celebrating my daughter's birthday, and we had no problems once I arrived at the hotel. I found the website to be true to the word as far as the pictures, room layouts, services offered, etc., that were on the website. I travelled with my daughters and they were also pleased with the room, even though as I was booking the room on line, they showed some skeptism but everyone was pleased upon arrival. I found the front desk to be very courteous and the rooms clean. We intend to come back again during the 2007 season, preferably during the spring or summer which will allow us to enjoy the pool and the chance to do some sunbathing. We enjoyed out stay so much, that we plan to make Howard Johnson, Broadwalk out hotel. We were not fortunate to reserve a room when we returned to Atlantic City in June, 2006 which was an oversite on my part for not reserving earlier. I also intend to recommend the Howard Johnson, Broadwalk to my friends that frequent Atlantic City more than I. Being a single mother I would immensly enjoy any discounts that were offered.

What I liked about my hotel room was the high ceilings. I am tall, so high ceilings make a big difference. The bathroom had older fixtures that were
pink. Very retro looking. The bathroom was clean and maintained. My bed was
a king sized bed. It was very comfortable. My room was a nice, comfortable
size. There was a small table that had chairs to go with it. This table
was a good size to sit down and have a meal on. Two people could stay in this room comfortably. Some of the channels on the TV didn't come in as clear as other channels. The motel offered HBO. This is a big plus when staying at a motel. The carpeting in the room was a little dated, but it was clean and soft. The window opened a little to let in fresh air. The windows had locks on them. The drapes were thick and heavy. When they are closed, they blocked out the sun completely. The view from my room was of the pool. I enjoyed watching people
play in the pool from my window.

There was a pool, which was an outdoor pool. It was huge! There were many lounge chairs surrounding the pool. The water looked very clean. The pool was painted blue, and looked very inviting.

The lobby had a nice seating area with comfortable couches. The staff at the
front desk were friendly. They warmly welcomed me when I arrived at the motel.
The only complaint I have with this motel is the elevator is rather jerky when it stops on the different floors. This motel was located very close to the boardwalk. It is located between the Tropicana and Hilton Casinos.

Good location, very close to the beach and casinos. Friendly receptionist, of course it is not a luxury hotel - but for few days with good company it's ok. It was noisy, because we had a street side room, but it was not very disturbing, because we came back late and tired. A lot of young pairs stay there, so I think it is good and nice place to stay for romantic getaway or with friends to spend several days on the beach.

I enjoyed my stay in Atlantic City and my comments towards the hotel is that it was a very nice stay, but the hotel needs a little updating. Overall it was the best price for staying over the weekend. The location of the Hotel is great it is just off the boardwalk. So my feedback again would be to give the hotel a make over or update the appliances and the rooms...also in the standard rooms does not have a refrigerator or a microwave so i would recommend added those features even to the standard rooms..Thanks

This hotel was pretty descent. It was an older hotel which made it appear less nice. Overall I would rate this hotel a 3 out of 5. The price was great. The cleanliness could have been better, and I wish there was a more updated bathroom that had a counter and not just a sink. I don't know if it was the cleanliness or just the fact it was older, but it just seemed kind of sketchy. But, like I said, it could have been worse, and I might stay there again.
