the room was smelly and dirty and i recieved nansty phone calls at 6:00 am which freaked me out never again will i stay there or tell anyone else to stay there. i rather pay the high prices of the casino hotels and feel safe then to stay at the howard johnson again. the rug had big stains and there was hair in the sink in the bathroom stains on the walls and ceilung in was just gross.i was hoping for a nice weekend away for our 5 year annv without the kids and it was the night from hell

I requested a non smoking room and when I arrived they gave me a smoking room and floor. When I spoke with the front desk they told me everything was sold out. On top of that I had to deal with the smell of pot. Some of the people on my floor were smoking pot. And, the smell went into my room. The hotel overall did not meet my standards, I have stayed at other HJ's and the conditions have been better. The money I paid for it was not worth it. I have stayed at the Claridge, Flagship and others for the same amount and it has been worth my money. I will never stay at HJ's in AC anymore. Thank god for Jitney buses, the casino's are pretty far away.

Requested a double bed room. Online said it was available but when we got there it wasnt. Which was fine because we were told we would receive a cot. Cot never came, called desk about 5 different times. Then went down there and was told we could not get a cot. Then they couldnt even give us blankets or an extra pillow and there were three of us. Instead they handed us towels and told us to fold it up as a pillow and use the towels as blankets. That didnt work out very well. We were more than nice when we asked for all this and we didnt even ask for the cot in the first place. The woman at the front desk told us she would give us one since we requested a room that they no longer had.
