Our room was very clean. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful!! We have stayed at other hotels in Atlantic City that were much bigger and suppose to be top of the line and they did not offer the pesonal and even some important things that we like in a hotel that this hotel offered. We felt at home at this hotel. The food was very good in their restaurant and the hostess/casher was very congenial and informative. We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future. The location was close to the board walk which we prefer.

This hotel had nice rooms, a great location, and the Scribbles Cafe is a wonderful pick for breakfast. The buffet is delicious. The closeness to Tropicana, our favorite casino, was a major plus for us. The rooms were also very nicely laid out and a pretty good size. For the price, the Holiday Inn Boardwalk is a hotel that accomodates its guests well and makes the most of the guests' money. The fact that it is located on the boardwalk, is a major asset, and because of all of these things, I would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

My mom loves to gamble and usually goes to Dover Downs or Harrington since we live in Delaware but my brothers and I wanted to splurge a little and get her out of the state for a change. She and my cousins (her travelling companions) loved it and they plan to come back for her 81st birthday! I made the reservations and paid in advance but was not traveling with her and this presented no problem at all - you made it very easy for her. She loved the hotel - it was clean and very close to everything and the staff were very friendly.

clean, good service. vallet was super nice, food and beverage service was great. front desk staff were a little rude. room service was fine, good shower/comfy beds. i don't think i can possibly write 200 words about this hotel..... it was close to tropicana which was nice. right on the boardwalk which was good as well. the weather was crappy so we did not take advantage of the beach at all. the hotel also had great acess to taxis. lots of tv channels. room service was fast. the rooms were a bit too cold though. we had to turn on the heat to not be freezing. the only down side is obviously no casino, the room service, though great, was expensive but that is to be expected. i would go back mainly because the room was very clean and it was an affordable last minute weekend for my friends. there were quite a few young adults there which was nice, lots of old people though too. the closeness to tropicana was probably the best aspect of the hotel mainly b/c the casino, but also because the tropicana has restaurants that are open all night, rather than closing at 2-4am.

We stayed here for a Bachelor Party and it was great. We were close to the Tropicana for night life, as well as, other casinos and strip clubs. The rooms were fine, and the location was right on the beach and within walking distance to almost all of the other hotels (except Borgata which we had to take a cab).

We were only sleeping in the room for 3-4 hours a night, so we didn't want to have to pay the high rates at other hotels that had casinos inside. Overall, it was worth it to save the money on the room and spend it on alcohol, gambling, etc. Nobody comes to Atlantic City to sit in the room all night long, so why should you pay the money to stay at the Borgata, Trop, Caesar's, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel. Plus, we got two rooms right next to each other so that we could open the door between the two rooms and pre-game in the hotel.

I can't vouch for the pool or the beach since we were there in early May, and it was too cold for the beach, and the pool was not open yet.

CONVIENENT TO TROPICANA CASINO. QUIET AT NIGHT. BEDS AND PILLOWS VERY COMFORTABLE. A LITTLE MORE THAN WHAT I WANTED TO SPEND FOR OVERNIGHT, NOT WORTH $167.00 FOR 1 NIGHT. SODA VENDING MACHINE DID NOT WORK. STAFF PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS. ROOMS WERE NICE BUT THEY COULD SMELL A LITTLE BETTER AND MORE SOAP COULD BE IN THE BATHROOM. I ASKED FOR A KING BED AND WE WERE GIVEN TWO FULL SIZE BEDS INSTEAD. AUTOMATIC CHECK-OUT DID NOT WORK ON TV SO HAD TO WAIT AT DESK TO CHECK OUT. SECURITY COULD BE BETTER IN GARAGE. FELT SCARED AT NIGHT WHEN WALKING THROUGH IT COMING FROM THE TROPICANA CASINO. MY HUSBAND HAD TO WALK ALL THE WAY AROUND LATE AT NIGHT AS THE WALKWAY DOOR THROUGH THE GARAGE WAS LOCKED AND HE COULD NOT GO THROUGH THAT WAY BACK TO OUR ROOM.

Overall it was ok. I was really disgusted when I had to wait 4 and half hours for house keeping to bring towles and toliet paper considering there were none in the bathroom when i checked in. They finally bought it up after calling them twice and going down to ther front desk. Besides that it was ok. On the Plus side it was right on the boardwalk and just minutes away from the Tropicanna and the Hilton. It is very easy to get to. Overall I got a great deal on the room and i would more than likely stay there again.

The location for this hotel is very good. Unfortunately, that is the only good thing I can say about it. The room had a strange odor that was quite repulsive. The floor and the top sheets had visible stains and didn't appear clean in the least bit. There was no hot water in the morning for the shower or to clean myself. The parking garge was very cramped and it made me nervous to leave my car there. Traveling up and down to the rooms was very inconvenient since there was only three elevators and they were slow. That wouldn't have been bad if the rooms were accessible by stairs. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my stay especially for the price that I paid for the room. I would have thought the quality would have been better. I won't stay there again.

The Holiday Inn was a very nice clean hotel, with a courteous host at the front desk and convenient to boardwalk and casinos. A very good value. Stayed with my wife to celebrate our thirtieth wedding anniversary and had a very nice time. Too cool for the beach and pool but they both looked very inviting. Compared to the price of the casino rooms, the Holiday Inn was a real bargain. The boardwalk was clean of any problems and we felt very safe walking to the casinos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate returning to the Holiday Inn.

The hotel was OK. It is in an excellent location for beach goers and boardwalk lovers. It is convenient to all other hotels and casinos. Unfortunately, the hotel is old and needs some updating. I found that it is in dire need of new elevators. Both the elevators leading to the rooms and the elevator from the garage to the lobby were old and extremely slow. This was particularly evident when the three day weekend ended on Sunday and everyone was trying to checkout. We waited almost 20 minutes for an elevator and when one came it was full. After waiting another fifteen minutes, we finally got to the lobby only to go to the garage elevators and wait another fifteen minutes. Once we were on the elevators, they were slow and hot. There was only a fan blowing hot air.
The front desk service was less than friendly and required some customer service skills. They provided only short answers to questions and no people skills.

The bathroom needs updating and a thorogh cleaning. The tub looked as if the the last occupants had dirty feet and scrubbing did not remove the stains.

The towels were stained and in short supply.

We went to Atlantic to celebrate our one year anniversary. We had been looking forward to this trip for quite a while and was very disappointed that it turned out the way it did because of the Holiday Inn. We have stayed at many Holiday Inns across the country but this was the worst experience we have ever had with them. Each day the cleaning service never left clean towels or washcloths. Even when we asked for them we were told they didn't have any at that time and would bring some back which they never did. We had to track someone down each day to get them. Also the layout of getting to the room from the garage area was very poor. I felt sorry for any older people and people with disabilities having to go thru that. We filled out the inquiry from the hotel as to how our stay was and got a letter of apology from the manager but we felt that was not enough. They also advertised that they were within walking distance to all the casinos, shopping and resturants and that was false. Only one casino was close by and we ended up having to drive to do shopping and visit the other casinos. Overall, we will never stay at the Holiday Inn again if we decide to go back to Atlantic City. At this time we have no desire to go back due to our experience there in February.

This was a horrible experience! The first night we had to switch rooms three different times. We finally had to settle for a room where it was just a few pubic hairs in the bed. One room looked like it had been in a murder scene and smelled like it was a landfill. My wife and I travel to atlantic city three times a year and will never stay at holiday inn boardwalk nor will we use your service as your hotel rating was no where near what you stated it to be. When we spoke with the manager he could care less about the issues that we had and said since we went through your internet service that he could not help us out on the price. We had to use the same towels the whole stay, because they have to conserve water at this hotel, and that also all the towels were used. I am not someone that usually complains but this was really, really BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!
