The hotel is beautiful, and the view from the waterfront room was spectacular. The room was spacious, and tastefully done with a rich mahogany. (one complaint is that a few items were left behind by former tenants, making us believe that perhaps the room was not cleaned previously). The shower was spacious, the water hot, with a marbled bench for those not inclined to stand. All employees we encountered were friendly, and very helpful. Room service was timely, and impeccable! Food service is open late, thank god! we were more interested in gaming! The slots were NOT LOOSE (for us), but we WERE able to play for awhile. We would return again.

I was not pleased that the person who took my resservation on the phone spelled my last name wrong and therefore caused us trouble when we tried to check in. The confirmation number that I was given didn't matter at Harrah's-they didn't know what my confirmation number was for. You should have some type of common confirmation number system with the hotel so that when I give the number, they know who I am. Also, the check in line was VERY long, we had to wait almost an hour to check in.

There was no privacy. Maids came in every morning bright and early would walk into our room while sleeping. It is Atlantic City you are up all night most likely not going to be up and out of the room by 8am to 9am. Never cleaned when they would get to the room it was always dirty from the day we checked in to the day we checked out. Spend the extra money to stay on the beach side completely worth it!

The hotel is very nice and well kept. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. When I stayed there, the rooms were clean, and the staff was helpful when I needed assistance, the other guest were also friendly as well. If I could have stayed longer I would have, the shopping, breakfast, and all the attractions was interesting. I do not mind that the hotel was not on the board walk, that is what made it so outstanding to me.

The walk through the casino just to arrive near the lobby check in was the longest walk from the parking garage. There was 7 girls with many bags and no bell hop in site. We tried to call the pool for the party at 10pm and never received an answer once. Then 2 guys selling tickets for the pool were in the hall near our room and sold us tickets but only for 6 girls and he over charged us. He said that we would get the bachelorette in for free giving his name and we ended up having to pay anyway. The rooms were nice, although was warm and musty smelling. I paid 870$ for 1 night and 2 rooms and wasn't very impressed with the service. I'm a assistant manager in a hospital and I feel service should be a top priority.

The pool for family is too damn small, nothing at all for kids of ages 20 and under too do but eat and play in a little game room. Also its too far from the AC boardwalk.

If you are going with you other half than its cool. "The pool" is nice to see but I only got to see it from the outside because no kids allowed.

the room service is pricey but delicious.

The self parking is horrible you have to have a lot of money to keep tipping 3 people at a time
and check in at 4 better be there at 1 it takes forever

Hotel was better than most boardwalk hotels. Check in is a mess! Hotel was clean and the views were great. Just a little harder to get to so there should be more things available to keep people from having to go to the boardwalk. Bigger entertainment venues. The 'Wedding Singer' show was pretty good but not a big draw. A casino is a casino, nothing special. Cannot really walk to another hotel due to highways, roads, access. We stayed because friends were comped and we had not been here before.

I was a little worried about going to Atlantic City from all that I had heard from other people. But, I decided to go anyway. I am so glad I went to Atlantic City. I have been to Las Vegas several times and I must admit, Atlantic City , to me, is better than Vegas. I was very satisfied with my stay at Harrahs. The staff was excellent. My wife was extremely satisfied and we have made Atlantic City our new vacation place to go. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank the staff at the Harrahs for making my stay a very pleasant one. Looking forward to our next trip to Harrahs.

The security staff at "The Pool" is a band of idiots. I went to Harrah's for my 21st birthday and on my first night there, me and a couple of my friends decided to stop by the pool. At the door, one of bouncers tells my friend, who happens to actually be 22 years old, that he does not look 5'8 as his ID indicates. Then the moron proceeds to take his ID away on the basis that it is a fake. My friend had to run to his car, retrieve his car registration and school ID, and had to ask one of the police officers to get his REAL ID back! These morons in suits need to take their $30,000 salaries and invest it in their education.

Would highly recommend this hotel for someone who doesn't want all the crowds and excitement that you have associated with the boardwalk hotels. It was a very relaxing pleasant stay and we really didn't have to leave the hotel as it provided us with all the amenities we needed for the week. Very friendly staff and the check-in/check-out process went quickly and without any problems. Will certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends. Very clean hotel, great pool and excellent places to eat.

Harrah's in Atlantic City is a great place to enjoy gambling. The Waterfront Buffet has great food and the crab legs are as good as the ones in Vegas where I have stayed at 13 different strip casinos. The pool is also top notch as was the service and the room which had a great view. We were allowed to check in at 1:30 pm which allowed us to enjoy the hotel even longer. The casino atmosphere is very comfortable. My wife had a great time which means I had a great time.

Over 40 minutes to check in!

Buffet restaurant had a waiting time of over 4 hours!

Business must be good for the hotel, however services are definitely overloaded.

So I will not be coming back to this hotel anytime soon and if I did come back to Atlantic City I would prefer a hotel on the ocean and not one overlooking a swamp or marina as some would call it.

I had an amazing stay. The restaurants were fabulous and the pool is stepping into paradise! I'll be back soon to stay in the impeccable rooms! Room service was fast and efficient but affordable! The staff was friendly and helpful! I will definitely be returning to Harrah's Resort and Casino in the upcoming weeks and in the near future. I suggest anyone who has to stay in Atlantic City gives Harrah's a try! I promise you will not be disappointed!

I liked the hotel very much. I thought the nightlife was great. The club at a pool is a wonderful idea. I went down for an event and it was a lot of fun. The front desk associate was super nice she upgraded my room because she felt I paid too much for the room I originally booked. She also couldn’t find my name in the computer that was great customer service. I would definitely visit the Harrahs again and its nightlife at the pool the only thing I felt the food was expensive.

I was asked by the Front Desk / Check In where I wanted my Room. I told her I wanted a room facing Borgota because I was attending a Concert there with my daughter for her Birthday!to make it a memory that we were attending there,and was instead put in a room facing the back Section of the Hotel which was very disappointing, I even called the front desk and was put on hold for a very long time so i hung up disappointed again and never heard back from them too! Instead we were looking out the window seeing a swamp, instead of seeing the place where we were going to attend a awesome concert which would have made a very awesome memory for my daughters birthday at your Hotel instead we were stuck looking at the swamp at the back of the hotel, :( sad face!
