I was born in Avalon and have great memories of the beach and the way it was. The Golden Inn is nestled in the dunes and easily accessible to the ocean with great beach and ocean views. The pool was an added amenity that really spoils you on the trip back form the beach. It was very nice having a bar at the pool to quench your beach thirst and plunge then a refreshing plunge into the pool. The room was nice and quite and has ocean views. The hotel employees are all very friendly and ready to assist you. The housekeepers were exceptionally helpful. It was truly a great get away weekend.

The Golden Inn in Avalon/Stone harbor sits on a lovely location. It is a nice facility with a good beach just over the sand dunes and nice pool. Families and adult visitors mingle nicely at the beach/pool bar all day over good food and daily drink specials. Plenty of parking on the site, which is a major plus at a South Jersey shore point hotel. The hotel is convenient to AC and other shore point attractions. Shopping and dining in Avalon and Stone Harbor are great perks to this hotel's location.
