Well, it has been over a year since I stayed at this hotel and since it was for only one night, and since I spent most of my time on the boardwalk either shopping or gambling in the casinos, it is difficult to honestly and accurately about the place. I do recall it being rather old and needed some renovation. However, I was easily accessed to the boardwalk, so the location was great. The room was adequate, clean, the bed was comfortable. I frankly don't remember anything else about the room. I suppose it had a bathroom, for I doubt I left the facility in the morning dirty. So MAYBE I took a shower, but don't remember, which could be a good thing. If I had hopped in the shower and found a tarantula or lizard in the tub, I would have remembered. So the bathroom most likely was ok. I have just a slight recall of the view from the window. When I looked out I could see across the street and the view of the parking lot and hotel across the street was simply breath taking. If I had the opportunity to stay there again I would.

You got what you paid for. The room and hotel were in fair condition and there were no extra frills. However it's much cheaper than other locations right on the boardwalk and the location can't be beat.

The Golden East Motel serve my purpose for going to atlantic city greatly, I didn't need any fancy hotel, with a fancy room, with a ocean view. I was in Atalntic City to play poker, along with other table game during the day, drinking and enjoy the clubs and night life. so i was happy with the motel and it rate. Great location just steps from the beach, Boardwalk, Atlantic city convention center, the casinos, resteranuts. I was told the hotel was recently renovated to match a national franchise requirements which you can see the changes, I stayed there months ago, so i know they have made alot more changes to make the hotel look even better. The 27'' TV with free HBO/ESPN was a plus, Wireless High Speed Access was great as well since i treal with my laptop alot to handle work and accounts. I don't drive into atlantic city as much as i want to but with the hotel have free parking i was able to drive in and not worry. Just One block to Sands Casino and 3-5 blocks to Resorts and Bally what more can you as for. To make a long story short, i was happt with the hotels based on what i had planned to do in Atlantic City.

This is an inaccuate survey because I changed my reservation over the phone ages ago and stayed the Atlantic Palace instead. Thus, i have nothing more to say about this hotel. Atlantic Palace was nice, but I didn't like going around the back at night to enter. Also, the elevators were so annoyingly slow that I do no think I would stay there again. It took 20 min or more to get an elevator, which is ridiculous.

The service was crappy. the food sucks, and the motel looks way tooo cheap and whorish. upon my arrival at the motel I immediately noticed that the workers were rude and the place looked as if it had not been cleaned in a week and my bed was dirty when I got there.
My lover and I were not happy at all and would appreciate you not contacting me again because I never plan to stay at this place again. I did it because it was under emergency basis. all other places were booked and I regret having to stay there.

If you want to be close to casinos & boardwalk this motel is good. As far as parking & customer service they need to improve. Overall I would give the motel 2 stars out of 5 being the best. I would stay here again if there were no other rooms available in that area but overall it would not be my first choice. It seemed to me that there was a lot of construction going on inside & out. The room right next to mine was being worked on with power tools which made it impossible to talk on phone or watch television. Another negative was no snack machines & soda machine was out of order.

This place is closely located to sands casino and less than 5 min walk to boardwalk. the rooms were clean but the shower could have been cleaned better. the room itself is a good size and we spent most of our time in the casinos and boardwalk anyway. The front desk is friendly but not as organized as more upscale places. If you just want somewhere to stash your stuff, and get some sleep in a decent place its a great bargain. And close to alot of things. We had a great time. Overall, no complaints and a good bargain for a fun weekend.

This hotel is no frills but a good value and only a few steps from the boardwalk. I've stayed at one of the better casino hotels, and for half the price this room was just as clean and comfortable. (plus a fridge which the casino hotel didn't include.) Check in was a little slow, and the lobby is not attractive, but so what. I'd rather spend my money on good food and in the casinos than on a fancy lobby.

This was a nice place to stay for a quick weekend/overnight stay. The room was clean and a nice size. It was nice to also have a refridgerator in the room. Only one block from the beach and boardwalk. Within walking distance of most casino's. There is no pool. The price was a tad high for most Day's Inn's, but considering it was a weekend in the summer, I guess it was pretty normal. If you are looking for a room with a view of the ocean, this not a place to stay. BUT, if you are heading to AC for a concert and just need a place to rest, this would be a good choice!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From the acceptance to my late check-in, to the continental breakfast served in the morning, the staff was very accomodating. It is accessible to everything in the area. I highly reccommend others to try it. For a Friday night, the price was worth it. Was tempted to stay a additional night but ended spending my money on shopping and had to go home. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Atlantic City.

I researched the hotels on the internet before making my decision. We wanted something close to the boardwalk and the Days Inn is just that. We walked around the area and never got lost. It was great coming out of the hotel and getting right on the boardwalk. Everything you wanted to do was right there. We would and will go back to Atlantic City for another get away. Now that we know our way around a little bit, we can do something different next time we come.

This hotel was a block away from the board walk, and 2 blocks down from Bally's. The check in process was not very great, because they did not take care of the line of customers very well, but checkout was 2 seconds long. The hotel was not a five star, but that is not what I was paying for. It was clean and quiet which is what I was paying for. The hotel was also close (about 4-6 blocks) away from the outlet stores which was nice also. Hopefully by the time you visit all of the stores will be finished ;)

The hotel was frankly nicer than I thought a Days Inn would be, but it was still pricey for Atlantic City, which, let's face it, ain't Las Vegas. Would I stay there again? Definitely. But I'd make sure I did so during the week and not when the rates go up. I understand that that's an industry standard, but it's an incredible turn off for someone like myself who generally only goes to AC for shows, and not to gamble.

Went down with a few friends, this hotel was a great alternative to spending more than double for a casino hotel room. The location made it good for a wide variety of casinos to go to either in walking distance or a short cab ride. Rooms were generally clean and check-in and out was very fast. You don't spend to much time in your room anyway when your in AC but even if you did the amenities are okay.Good value, would stay again.

A comfortable place to stay but NOT in a nice neighborhood. Be very wary. Motel is near a lot of construction and very close to most of the major casinos. Very easy to get to by way of the Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway. Personally, I would spend some extra money and stay at one of the casinos as they would be significantly safer. I found it OK as I was only there on business and hardly at the motel
