The hotel is well situated - great looby. Although, my room was not the best - I believe I was in the older part of the hotel! The beach location was also great - with the new waterfront mall to come (at the time). All was very clean and very hospitable. The parking was also very acoomodating, clean and safe. The casino was attractive and the hotel and a number of great restaurants - some a little pricey - but attractive. At the time I was there a limited amount of shows were going on - I guess because of the time of year. The hotel shops were also nice. I really found the hotel and the surrounding areas to be complete and as safe as it could be. Close to great shopping also - that definately made it worth it the time of year that I went. I would certainly go back if the opportunity presented itself again. The lobby prsented itself like amini version of Las Vegas. I don't gamble therefore commenting on the casino would not be fair, but it did seem complete with many different types of slot machines. I hope these comments accomodate your needs accordingly and hopefully we'll get to visit again.

The good parts.

The hotel was very nice in general. I enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was right in the middle of the boardwalk where all the action is at. The room was very clean and very well kept. Nice size bed. Lots of channels to watch on the television. Bathroom was well stocked with the proper items needed in there. Towels were very soft and plentiful. The air conditioner actually worked. I have found that most air conditioners in hotels don't work very well. The decor was really nice as well. Took dozens of pictures.

Now for the bad parts.

The room that we stayed in was located on a floor adjacent to a roof line where the buildings outside lighting, as bright as the sun, were right outside. At night it was hard to sleep with all that light coming in. Even with the curtains closed, it was still bringht in the room. There was no view what so ever. I didn't like the location of the elevators to get to our room. You had to walk across a huge lobby, up a long ramp, down a long hallway, through a part of one of the casinos while all the gamblers stared at you as you passed by, into another foyer and finally to where the elevators were. I didn't enjoy that at all. Another part was, it's not the hotels fault, the constuction right outside the hotels doors leading to the beach. What a mess.

It's been a year since I have been there so my guess it's all cleaned up by now. Would I stay there again? Maybe. But I would definately get a much better room.

We were very tired when we arrived from Massachusetts and to find no room available yet to go into. We had asked when booking if a early arrival which was around 1:30p.m. would be a problem. The woman who I spoke with said no problem since Wednesdays are not one of your busy times. We were told when we arrived we can put you in a smaller room with two double beds. I told the man absolutely not since I pre-paid our trip of two days and paid for a King-Supreme Room. He told us we would have to wait and return at 3pm and the room should be ready. We returned at 4pm and again we were told our room was not ready. We demanded to speak with your manager (Mike). We explained the situation and told him how disappointed we were being our first time at Atlantic City. He was very nice however and put us in a room he stated as a suite. We really didn't know if we were getting a suite or simply the same as we ordered to begin with. Anyways we thought it could of been handled quicker and more pleasant with our first man who was checking us in. We told him how disappointed we were but he didn't even blink. We did however, love the boardwalk and all the casinos.

We would not come back to Atlantic City. The slot machines are the tightest anywhere. Definitely not a good place to play and have a little fun.

Caesar's charged $14.00 for internet service per day. Many hotels give it free. There was a $20.00 charge per day to use the health center. There were no restaurants in the hotel or on the shopping mall to get a "healthy" breakfast, e.g., expensive eggs only. No cereal or oatmeal, etc. Yuck! Also long lines at breakfast in one restaurant only on the shopping mall. Not good.

The check in staff was rude and impersonal.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit and it was a reunion affair with her brother and his wife. We enjoyed the casino together and the walks on the boardwalk. Service was good and the room was very nice. Checkout was smooth and orderly. We had other friends who were staying at the Tropicana and we visited them in their room. Next time we will probably stay there. Their room was just as nice as ours for $70 less. In addition the restaurants and shopping areas were more "tourist friendly."

Atlanticcity.com charged me $192.00 per night and when I checked in at Ceasars the front desk clerk told us that the room was $143.65. Since I didn't book directly with Ceasars she couldn't give me the current rate. I am still trying to get my refund and found the employee who took my complaint to be unhelpful and unapologetic. Waitresses at the casino were hard to find and beer was served in a small cup instead of a bottle.

I had a room in the "South Tower" overlooking the RESERVATIONS DESK/LOBBY. I had no idea when booking this room that would be our view...very disappointed since final cost was $170 for one night!! Went to Front Desk to change rooms, nothing available. Generally, hotel doesn't have that polished look at all.
Next day went over to Harrah's Marina to play.. Hotel looked clean, organized, people were friendly, seemed like a different class of people in general.

Hotel is basically in the middle of the other casinos. A walkway between another casino is convienent in cold, rainy or snowy days. Hotel is clean and mostly modern. There is one section of the hotel which has older rooms and these rooms show their age. As usual there is a long line and wait for the buffet meals. The additional coffee shop type restuarant is clean but has very slow service with the food usually coming out cold. The buffet selection is OK and the staff there could be a bit more friendlier. The front desk staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. There is remodeling going on in the hotel and the previous large gift shop has been replaced with a much smaller and poorer selection of items store by the front desk. There is a nicely decorated Roman bar in the lobby area but it is usually closed and open in only peek times. When playing slots there is usually a long time to wait for a cocktail waitress to take you order and a much longer time to receive your drink order. I would go back but I think this hotel could work a bit on its customer service.

We were disappointed with our visit. The check in process took over 20 minutes. We walked a distance that took what seemed like forever to find the tower to our room. The stench of cigarette smoke permeated the entire lower levels. We tried on two different occasions to get a drink at one of the bars and were ignored by the bartender. We were approached by pan handlers at the door looking for money and sales people inside promoting "free deals". At breakfast we had to listen to a fight between two females exchanging extremely foul language. This confrontation was ignored by hotel employees. We felt uncomfortable and
unsafe during the entire stay.

There was a time when the hotels in Atlantic City were among the best. Now? Seems like get them in and forget them. The condition of this hotel was marginal, the room was to be a promotional one night deluxe. Was very disappointed with what we got for $250 for the night. Communicating with people was extremely difficult as I only speak English. My fault because I'm American? We had difficulty navigating through the hotel/casino to get to where we wanted to be. I understand the need to have me walk directly through the casino to get anywhere but the lack of directions was difficult.

This was my husband's first time here. He hated that no one at the front desk correlated the right information to us regarding use of hotel keys in elevators, how to work my laptop or the fact that they had a business center that I could have used to go online and and worst of all that they gave me a room without a window that I could see outside. I am very claustrophobic. I checked out by Sunday night.

It was a VERY bad time for Caesars! The facility is under renovation at this time and VERY noisy! Once they are finished, all should be good. We had meetings during the evening and continued late...therefore we had an opportunity to sleep in...NOT! The jack hammering started EARLY! They tried to compensate with a free breakfast buffet...we would have rather slept. Morton's of Chicago Steakhouse, that is attached to the main entrance, was VERY good! Too bad the trip was disrupted by construction!

Motel was under construction and it was a great inconvenience on our part. We were not told of this until we arrived that day. Should have been aware of this when the reservation was made. Also, the room had a terrible shower and the bed was like sleeping on the hard floor. The ice machine was broken on our floor. We had to go to another floor to get ice. Check in was very confusing due to credit card differences according to their info. Never Again!

I was totally unhappy with this hotel, with the service and their rooms. The room was dirty, and smelly, and the mattress I got was worn out. I slept on the mattress, and I felt the springs poking my body. Next morning I woke up with big rings imprinted on my back. The hotel was not baby or kid friendly at all. We wanted to eat at a buffet, they make us walk all around the casino, walk up the stairs, elevators, to get to one restaurant.

I stayed at this hotel twice trying to be open minded about the first time but both time, the reception/check in desk staff was very rude to start with. I have traveled all over the world and never have I been given a rooms like the ones we got. They were dirty, dark and in the first floor on a remote tower. I asked for a change since I had a baby and the room didn't smell right and they say NO! It is not about the customer at Ceasar's. I will never go back there again.
