The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. Location on the boradwalk is great! Casino was fun! Had a great time. Check-in took a while, but the desk staff were friendly and helpful! The bell staff were friendly. Room service order was wrong, delivery person did not understand our request to the error corrected.( appeared limited English proficiency). When we tried to explain, he just kept asking us to sign receipt for the order. Although the error was small (iced tea sent instead of hot tea), it was frustrating. I didn't call to have corrected because of the time factor...by the time the hot tea would be delivered it probably would have been another 45 minutes. On postive side, although there was an error in our reservation ( we had confirmation of two rooms, one handicap accessible), only one was reserved at Bally's, the front desk supervisor (Cathy?) was very helpful in resolving.

I enjoyed my stay at Ballys, although I would have stayed longer but the price of the room was a little steep for me. The way the hotel/casino was set up was great. I loved the fact that I could go to a number of different casinos without walking outside, that helps out a lot in the winter time. It did seem like at times, it took a little while for a waitress to come along to order a drink. It would also help to have a few more tables with five dollar and ten dollar minimums. Overall, it was a fun trip.

The service (especially from the guards) was exceptional. I work in a customer service environment and truly understand how challenging it is to find people that will deliver that type of service for you. The room that I stayed in did not have a desk as I was staying at the hotel attending a regional conference meeting. I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to receive a printed bill as I would with any other hotel at the conclusion of my stay. I need these bills immediately as I have to submit theses types of receipts to our corporate expense department at the conclusion of the week thus causing a HUGE inconvenience. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel and would recommend this hotel to any person looking to visit the area.

Bally's was fine, however the rooms could use a little "updating"...especially the bathrooms. Tile was coming off. If i recall correctly, there was no ceiling fan in the bathroom either. I don't recall any type of entertainment there the days I stayed. The location was very good though.....right in the center of boardwalk.
For my first time in Atlantic City, it was a fun get-away.

We only stayed for one night. Room was adequate - not superb, especially for the exorbant price that we paid, at least we felt it was. My spouse and I went to AC with my brother and his finace and split the room and still it cost $125 each couple - for only a full size bed. The eateries were good - we ate at the little bagel place for breakfast and then at the dinner for a late night snack. It is difficult to find the two distinct casinos; had to ask a couple of times before we could get adequate directions. Parking was also very time-consuming - took us 30 minutes to find a place in the parking garage and we got the very last spot. We ended up going to AC on the very weekend that it opended back up after being shut-down by the state of New jersery for failing to pass the budget. The hotel is in close proximy to other casinos - which is nice for a change of scenery, and it does appear to be the cheapest within that block of casinos. One of the nicest things was the service provided from the front desk - that were extrememly friendly and courteous; as well as fast and efficient.

I have stayed at Bally's three years in a row. I travel from N. Carolina and meet my mom coming from Massachusetts. Usually she gets a room through her chartered bus tour and it's real nice. This year I paid for the room in what was supposed to be deluxe accommodations in the Dennis tower. We ended up in Claridge Tower, room was not so nice. Main casino leaking. Not sure I'll stay or play here again.

This hotel took me back to the 70's. It was not worth what we paid per night. The bathroom walls and countertop were pink. Floral pictures were on the wall and they were still using large tubed televisions. If I wanted to stay at a Motel 6 or Super 8, I could have stopped along any highway for the night. These rooms should be re-modeled and brought into the 21st century. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bally's have 3 towers, The Claridge that is a really nice place to stay. The D Tower is a disaster. I stay with my patents that came from Argentina and I was really embarrassing for take them there. The Spa is great, but sauna and whirlpool is always full of kids (manager said it is nothing he can do) minors in the sauna???? Was not a place for adults to relax. I never will recommend this place.
The room and bathroom too small. 3 people and we have to call every single day for towels soap coffee b/c they never leave enough. 2 towels for 3 people. I really don't feel to keep going because is bring back a really bad experience that now it is over. I just can say. if you are thinking to go to the Dennis tower... don't do it. Go to the Claridge that is really good and you will spend less money.

Hotel was not very clean dust on window seals. Service was good, staff was friendly. Would recommend stay in the Bally's towers for better views. Casino was being upgraded with new machines so lots of down machines. Drink service was very slow or not at all. Enjoyed the beat the heat free play. Enjoyed the food and service staff at the restaurant was friendly. Location was excellent for visiting other properties. Would return but would stay at Bally's for next visit.

I do want to comment on my overall stay. I have not visited Bally's in 3 years, I was very shocked to see how much it has changed. First the restaurant I really liked the Sidewalk Cafe was no longer there. No outdoor pool and no buffet breakfast restaurant. The buffet restaurant you do have there The Virginia Buffet had such long lines that I stood in for 45 minutes and then gave up. I was very disappointed in the changes and I hope things would change for the better. I do not see myself visiting Atlantic City for quite some time.

This casino does have re modeled rooms, although in order to get connecting rooms I had to take an older section of the hotel.It was not clean, and very dated.Although I would stay in one of the newer rooms, love the hotel just for the Wild West Main Stage.The staff was very friendly, and the gentleman at the front desk did try his best to accommodate us.Also, we did try to go to Pickles on Saturday for a light meal around 6:30Pm and they were closed.

I had a room that was supposed to be a luxury room in the Tower but it was anything but luxury. The room was not clean. It was dusty. The furniture was covered in thick dust it was also in the bathroom. My guest and myself have allergies so we were very uncomfortable.I took pictures and showed them to the front desk. After that I got a new room and they gave me a $40 food voucher. I hope to never go through that again.

Unbelievable! No Hot Water for the shower. Not a big deal until I made the appropriate notifications and all I received was, "Ok, thank you." I'm not even going to mention I was placed in a room next to the elevators. If you are looking for some rest, do not accept a room next to the elevators. That's my poor judgment for not saying anything so please be aware of where the room is if you want some rest. What ticks me off was the nonchalant attitude when I reported there was not hot water! All that money they have pouring in and not even a comp!?! Ridiculous! If you want shady service, go ahead stay here. If you do not want to take a hot shower or bath, by all means, stay here. I will not be staying at Bally's again.

Check in was horrible - people were standing in line for 45 minutes to check in. Only two clerks were there to check in people on a Friday night with a very long line. Casino crap tables were very crowded so that it was very very difficult to be able to gamble. Hotel room was only a very standard hotel room - I have had much nicer rooms at Holiday Inn. Location on the boardwalk was good. Too bad check in left a sour taste in my mouth.

Although the Ballys hotel is very nice and well kept, we stayed in the Claridge Tower and this section of the hotel needs serious refurbishing. It seems that Ballys took over the Claridge several years back, and has not invested in this section of the property. I would recommend when reserving a room to ask not to be put in the Claridge Tower.
The Ballys Tower and Wild West sections of the hotel appear to be well kept. Overall we were only in Atlantic City for one night.
